I personally believe Ralsei's heightened knowledge & suspicious nature is a result of him being a guide/tutorial character, not the other way around. I see it as being part of the game's meta narrative & one of the RPG tropes the game is looking to deconstruct. I also remember saying in your "Kris is not the Knight" video that the closet line is meant to be a hint that Kris hides Berdly's body there in the weird route, and I don't agree with that anymore. I think it's more likely that the closet is the Light World version of Queen's mansion, and the "large person" is referencing Giga Queen. Every other object in the computer lab references the Cyber World somehow, so if we have reason to believe this is the same, I feel that should be the default assumption. All the stuff involving Kris doing weird stuff prior to the player's arrival is probably hinting at something else that isn't possession, but I'd rather not discuss that, at least not right now.
