You should do your top 50 airtime moments in the world
I feel like that'll bleed heavily into my favorite drops.
@@CanobieCoaster yah but maybe excluding drops.
@@theanalyticalllamayesssss
Renegade is by far my favorite. Excalibur is my 2nd favorite, but probably just because how weird it is. I hope Valleyfair takes notes from Worlds of Fun and lightens up the mid-course on Wild Thing. 2022 Mamba was awesome in the 2nd half.
From what I've heard, it won't happen on Wild Thing. Park considers it a safety issue running it untrimmed. Not only is the brake run shorter, but there's an old video of it sparking during an ACE event.
My favorite roller coaster in Minnesota is Renegade at Valleyfair by the Timber Twister Alpine Coaster at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Wild Thing (V), High Roller (V), Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge at Nickelodeon Universe, Steel Venom (V) Pepsi Orange Streak (NU), Fairly Odd Coaster (NU), Corkscrew (V), Mad Mouse (V), Excalibur (V), Back at the Barnyard Hayride (NU) Mild Thing (V, R.I.P.) and Avatar Airbender (NU 😵).
I definitely need to get on Timber Twister at some point.
Went to Minnesota in 2022 for coasters and here is how I would rank them:
1. Renegade- Best coaster in the state by a wide margin and second best GCI for me.
2. Excalibur
3. Sponge Bob Square Pants Rock Bottom Plunge
4. Wild Thing
5. High Roller
6. Fairly Odd Coaster
7. Mad Mouse- Horrible Operations but I find this to be one of the better mice coasters.
8. Avatar Airbender
9. Pepsi Orange Streak
10. Corkscrew
Steel Venom was closed when I visited the park. I would expect it to be with around #3 or 4 or 5, for me based on riding similar coasters.
Same 1, but much different after
Steel Venom is my # 4, just barely ahead of Wild Thing. If I remove Steel Venom, then our top 5 are identical.
Great video! Yeah, that log flume looks real nice. Reminds me of me, my favorite ride at Kings island is the water rapids ride.
This flume crushes the Kings Island one.
@@CanobieCoaster lol yeah. Thanks for the reply.
Love seeing valleyfair and moa footage 😎 great video as always buddy 💪
Thanks 👍
Here’s my ranking!
#10 Fairly Odd Coaster
#9 Wild Mouse
#8 Corkscrew
#7 High Roller
#6 Wild Thing
#5 Rock Bottom Plungr
#4 Renegade
#3 Steel Venom
#2 Avatar Airbender
#1 Excalibur
Definitely a much different list putting the shuttle coasters high.
loving this series . cant wait till you get to my home state
Which one is that?
@@CanobieCoaster missouri
Canobie Coaster would say:
The final potential airtime doesn't happen on Wild Thing. Not only does the park consider it a safety and maintenance nightmare, but the coaster has a shorter final brake run. There was an old video about an untrimmed event. If the ride were untrimmed and ran at its full potential, the train sparked on the final brake run. The park considered that run was a too big issue related to the safety, brake and maintenance. The trim was an attempt to make the ride...
A) more reliable
B) similarly reliable
C) less reliable
A
Top 20 coasters in Pennsylvania is always quite a challenge
I'll have a countdown for Pennsylvania this week.
wow, your past 3 vids have been state rankings, that's definately interesting but in a good way, I like these vids. BTW, have you done a top coasters in florida or texas yet?
I already released lists for those 2 states.
@@CanobieCoaster Ah i gotcha, I looked them up on ur channel to see when they released. Anyway, I feel like u could update the florida list in the future because Gwazi and velocicoaster weren't there at the time. Also pipeline is coming too, so florida keeps getting more and more coasters
I'm surprised you put rock bottom above Excalibur. Excalibur is probably my 2nd favorite in the state. I agree the log flume is #1 ride, it's been closed a lot lately :( I'm just glad they didn't retheme it to nickelodeon like everything else
Rock Bottom Plunge has more to it.
Are you going to do the top 5 coasters in Oregon?
Probably not for that state.
Minnesota is my home state and I have written all of these coasters that you've mentioned I personally did not find steel venom that fun but the brake element is amazing and in my opinion Excalibur is one of the worst that we have have in the state other than that this is a very solid ranking. Truthfully though there really aren't any more roller coasters.
I know some enthusiasts like Excalibur even more than me!
@@CanobieCoaster wow I can't believe you actually commented back to me that's amazing and I appreciate that I know it has some cult following just found it to be way to strong on the head banging. Riding it again this last summer confirmed that for me. Other than that it is an extremely solid coaster with some amazing airtime and laterals
Wild Thing at Valleyfair:
I heard in your review it has some noticeable bumps.
It's smooth enough.
You are so underrated🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thanks!
Top 10 mountain coasters
I may do that one.
I liked when Mall of America was Camp Snoopy. The theme fit the mall better.
That theme looked better in my opinion.
The park considered the airtime on the return run was a too big issue related with the reliability, maintenance, and safety. The park had other coasters with airtime considered more proper agreed, but enthusiasts were still disappointed why the park should had good airtime on their coasters and it was weak and not very good. But in the year 2007 the park opened Renegade, a GCI wooden coaster. Unlike Wild Thing that was disappointed by many enthusiasts and the park's other coasters that they didn't have the airtime as expected, Renegade...
Is great.
can you do top 10 coasters in New Jearsy?
Already made a top coasters list for that state.
#1 the kiddie coaster at valley fair
Lol nope
They all look like fun. No Wild Mouse rides for me. Ouch. Woodies are my favorite rides.
Renegade is a great woodie.
Imagine riding again the tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster in Minnesota. So what do you think in terms of smoothness or roughness?
Wild Thing is smooth.
Do Massachusetts next even know they only have coasters at six flags New England and 1 or 2 coasters at Edaville
I have a video ranking the coasters of New England, which covers that.
@@CanobieCoaster oh ok
Valleyfair isn't the best thing ever but it's good for what it is. Although Valleyfair needs more intense rides with actual airtime and a modern looping coaster. Mall of America may not compare to the one in NJ but it's still somewhat diverse. SpongeBob Square Pants Rock Bottom Plunge seems so good.
The two parks work well together.
what is the mythology of the order for which states are chosen
It's mostly a function if I've ridden every major coaster in the state and if I haven't done one already.
Canobie Coaster, would you like to go again to Minnesota?
Yes
What's your favorite ride in Minnesota after Log Flume?
Either Renegade or Whirly Ball.
Could Renegade beat the likes of Wodan, Mystic Timbers, Troy or White Lightning
Not Mystic Timbers and Wodan, but the other two.
I’ve always been high on Pepsi Orange Streak but I would put Excalibur above it
Excalibur is more forceful, but I have more fun on Pepsi Orange Streak.
Damn how many Nickelodeon universes are there in the US?
2
@@CanobieCoaster mm not that many huh 🤔
Wild Thing at Valleyfair was in your video of most disappointing roller coasters in the world, but Mamba at Worlds of Fun was not
Yeah, Mamba has some airtime on the return run unlike Wild Thing.
Oopsie, Subtitles!
Thanks, fixed now.
Sparking, what means?
Wild Thing had sparks come off the brakes when it ran untrimmed from the quick stop.
How Make Money for Amusement park Trip
To buy one?
@@CanobieCoaster all Fixed
It is a war crime to have Pepsi above rock bottom plunge lol
Rock Bottom Plunge is far more forceful, but I have more fun on Pepsi.
STEEL VENOM GANG
I hope they can keep the holding brake going.
@@CanobieCoaster Definitely in my top 25 coaster elements
First!
Nice!
