I got this exact model. I own, Rolex, JLC and GS. The fit and finish are on par with watches 3 times the price. Exceptional value for the money. Could not be more pleased or impressed.
@watchesinsingapore Absolutely loving it. Mine is a deep purple that fades to almost black at the edges. It is the darkest of all the dials offered and gives a terrific contrast to the applied, brushed and polished hour markers. I got both the bracelet and rubber strap. I find I'm wearing the rubber strap a great deal more than the bracelet. It make the watch pop more on the wrist. The bracelet itself is equally high quality fit and finish.
@@watchesinsingapore I'm trying to decide between the purple & the blue myself. Are you happy you chose the blue? It seems to be a near perfect blue, but I do love the purple as well.
I just ordered this for my wife. I bought her a womans watch in the past and she likes to put my watches on for fun and says she wants a larger face watch. I’m excited to see it in person.
My rotating stable of dailies include 2 Grand Seikos, a Santos de Cartier, and a G.O. but I haven't felt as much desire to wear those since my Astral Blue Twelve arrived. The only thing I question sometimes is if I should have gotten the purple instead since I prefer it as a color over blue but I figure my Bel Canto preorder is for the purple version already. The Twelve just wears so well on me, in no part thanks to its end links actually having some flex. The PRX not doing that made it just not wear right in the 40 and 35 felt too small for my personal style (yet somehow 36 and 37 mm feels right on same watches. Go figure). There obviously isn't the same level of finishing as in the higher priced watches, but there's still clearly a lot of thought that went into things, e.g. polishing bits of the links to make them pop more than in some other integrated bracelets while still keeping things in budget. I'll admit to some bias as a CW Trident was my first watch with an MSRP over 1k USD so I'll always have a soft spot for them. But I think they really are doing some great stuff in the budget space they operate in.
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts! Definitely agree that CW is doing some great things in their price segment. Curious how you'll like your Bel Canto when it arrives
I'm in a similar position for Astral Blue vs. Purple. How do you feel about it now that time has passed? I love purple as a color, and I don't have any purple watches, but the blue just seems to pop so well and seems more versatile.
@@watchesinsingapore I'd be interested in the how the GP Laureato compares to the Twelve. I see them as more similar than the Czapek and I'm actually considering either the Twelve or the GP, as soon as CW starts releasing more conservative colorways for the Ti Twelve.
@@saodavi6267 that's an interesting one since both have a similar bezel style. I imagine the GP would feel better in quality, but I'm really not a fan of its bracelet design. Given the price difference, maybe I'd choose a Twelve. But the Laureato does have some nice variations like the skeleton, if that's in your budget.
Singapore watch enthusiast here as well. Wish there was somewhere here in Singapore to view the TI series. Have a hard time deciding between the colours
Thank you for this glowing review. You made a statement about the build quality of this being superior to the Antarctique. It would be interesting to point out in what specific way.
Today they introduced the ti version in 36mm with more variety in the range of colours. I have the 36mm SS version and it fits perfectly on my 16,5 cm wrist.
I love the watch! I was wondering the price on the Christopher Ward includes shipping to Singapore? What are your thoughts on servicing the watch in the future?
Yes, the price I mentioned includes shipping and tax. I don't think servicing will be an issue for a simple movement like this. Plenty of local watchmakers that should be able to handle it
@@watchesinsingapore thanks! what about the their more complicated models such as C1 Bel Canto? have you heard anything about them and what about servicing wise?
@@madidiot1234 I never understand the whole servicing topic with watches. Modern automatic watches can & do run for so many years, without the need for any servicing, that I just don't get why it's much of a topic at all.
I have to say the Overseas white date-window helps balance the dial out because of the white indices. If it was blue, I think the dial would look more unbalanced.
this may be a great watch but why are we pretending it’s got the finish of a defy or laureato or iwc. it doesn’t, it flat out does not compete finish wise with those watches, nor should it. it’s a great watch under 2 grand. if it was on par with those watches you know how much they’d sell it for? lol exactly
Yeah, but it doesn't look so cheap as Tissot PRX ;) I think it may be good candidate for everyday automatic watch which give not bad quality to price ratio and you don't need stress yourself so much about bumping door handles etc. like with much nicer and/or expensive watches.

Best review of the cw twelve I’ve watched. Thanks for the input! Gonna go with the twelve in ti but not sure which color lol
I feel like they're going to release more colors so probably no need to rush into a decision
