People who think Joe has an arrogant attitude have never met the man. I was fortunate to meet him about 15 years ago at Lambert airport in St. louis early in the morning. I noticed him sitting at a table drinking coffee reading something. I walked up to him just to say hello. Joe could have blown me off by just having a stranger walk up to him while he is just waiting on a flight. Joe couldn't have been more polite and genuine. He gave me far more of his time than I believe I deserved. We talked for about 15 mins at least and he could have been more gracious. So when people call him an arrogant ass they can get bent because they this man is anything but.
Lol lol you talked to him once 15years ago at a airport and you think you know him lol? You do know it's about 15 years ago when people started disliking him
Joe Buck is a smart, well-prepared, competent professional broadcaster. I think the reason why he is less popular than others in his broadcasting weight-class is that people generally favor personalities that they imagine they could easily share a beer with. Buck presents himself as a guy who, if you approached to say "hello," would signal security to have you intercepted. Also, beer is too low brow for him, he probably sips Cognac (even if he doesn't like the taste, but because it "looks" better). He's worked hard to craft himself in the image of a celebrity and intellectual -- not one of "us."
He explains why ppl hate him and I agree 100 percent. Sorry your team had to lose the world series while he was the main play by play guy. Joe Buck is great!
Buck doesn't get it. It's not that people get mad that you tell them their team is not playing well and the rival team is playing better, it's the way he says it that rubs people the wrong way. He gives the feeling that he doesn't have respect for the sport and the players sometimes.
Never understood the hate for Joe outside of the “everyone hates my team!!” point of view we all get as biased fans. He’s a good, humble dude. He’s also made the most of his career on his own. His dad isn’t the reason he’s doing super bowls and did so many World Series.
It’s because of his flat and unenthusiastic delivery. Most broadcasters display emotion to help convey the situation whereas he comes off as an AI text to speech script.
That's the problem .. You all associate this clown with a class guy like Joe Buck..... He's far from like father like son I can tell you that right now.... But you people go on and keep patting his head and pinching his cheeks....smh
Joe Buck is an excellent and exciting broadcaster. I do miss his play by play during my Yankees World Series games. He definitely draws you into the game and and can be thrilling. I believe many dislike him because of his easy path to glory due to the privilege of his parents. Buck didn’t spend a lot of time as others calling games in the Minor League system scratching to get to the Big leagues. I think he’s a natural an many try to imitate him as many imitated Marv Albert.
I'm a long time MLB fan from Europe and I also watch NFL games. Joe Buck as well as Bob Costas are the iconic voices of American sports and everytime he is on, I feel like part of that American culture is right here with me. A few months ago my wife told me how the voice of "that broadcaster" always makes her feel like something important is going on on tv. "That broadcaster" is Joe. Keep it up man, we love what you're doing.
Joe Buck is fine. He's got a good voice. It's less about talent and more about approach. The broadcast scene has changed. People want emotion, they want excitement, not a boring ass call that doesn't appreciate the moment. And you can do it without being a homer. Look at Mike turico.
He said it all in the preview "my dad". The only thing worse than listening to a game called by Buck and Aikman is one called by Buck and McCarver......yuk!
AJ tried to give Buck the space to be a real person, to explain to fans how he appreciates them, and dude goes off about cashing cheques and being a bigtime network star, how he 'doesn't give a sh!t' what they think. Total dink? Yeah, confirmed af.
Buck's problem is that for years his calling in both baseball and football brought absolutely 0 excitement to the game. He's the TV voice of some of the literally biggest plays in the history of baseball and football, and his reaction to them rings of boredom. To his credit in recent years I think he has gotten much better calling NFL games
It's pretty easy to understand the hate. Flat, boring, monotone, unenthusiastic calls of many of the biggest plays in the history of MLB and NFL To his credit he's been better the last few years doing NFL
Typically speaking, I enjoy Joe Buck on National Broadcasts. It’s not his fault that Fox constantly puts the Cowboys on their showcase game. One thing though, go back and watch the 2016 World Series - he was just constantly verbally sucking Kyle Schwarber off. It was so annoying as a Cleveland fan. Like, yeah great, he came back quick from getting his knee scoped, it didn’t have to be the story all 7 games though jeez! Maybe some over the top praise of José Ramirez next time you do a Guardians game, Joe?
Probably not a great sign when you're left with AJ yelling about how you're misjudged as an a-hole. C'mon AJ, you are not that guy to defend him, especially immediately after giving two birds in the middle of a live show. I've got no idea why anyone has problems with Joe but there has got to be a better option to defend him 😂😂
I fully admit the No. 1 reason for my dislike of Joe Buck is because of my fond childhood memories of his dad calling baseball games. "We'll see you tomorrow night..." Such a great great call for a young Texas Rangers fan whose favorite two players in the league were Nolan Ryan and Kirby Puckett. As it relates to Joe, I just don't find that he makes interesting observations, or he tries too hard to be funny or quippy or bigger than the call or a big moment in the game. I just feel like he's always looking for attention rather than naturally supporting what is happening in the games he calls. He's more than competent, but that is relative to the broadcasting landscape of today. He doesn't shine shoes of most guys who are at the end of their career now like Jon Miller, much less some of the greats. But that's just me. I think it's a travesty to not hear Gary Thorne calling in the Stanley Cup playoffs. But good for Orioles fans.
Back at the wall Territory
😂😂😂

he looks and sound a ceo villain in movies
Freeze walk-off call “ We Will See You Tomorrow Night!!”
I feel I am in the minority here, but I have always enjoyed Buck.
He’s great. Small brains don’t like him.
Familiarity tends to breed contempt.
Buck is a legend. Glad to hear he’s dipping his toes back into the booth.
I never understood the hate. I always liked him
He explains why ppl hate him and I agree 100 percent. Sorry your team had to lose the world series while he was the main play by play guy. Joe Buck is great!
You aren't

Miss Joe Buck alot. Dude can be cocky all he wants his career says he should be

Due to his monotone boring calls of some of the biggest plays in the history of baseball and football
Love Joe Buck! The voice of my childhood for October baseball. Never understood the hate.
I don’t hate Joe Buck. I think most announcers suck but I don’t dislike Joe Buck. I actually dislike Michael Kay and a few others.
This show is fantastic. Refreshing honest talk here.
Love Joe Buck but I’m biased since his dad was the best. Grew up listening to Jack and Mike Shannon. Miss him on FOX

Exciting? Thrilling? What? What play call are you referring to?
Construction worker?! Joe Buck was part of the village people. LoL.
Seriously, Joe is one of the best. He has taken a lot of shit unnecessarily.
AThe it

Joes the man no matter what.people say .he's not only earned his chops. He's worked to develop it as well. Go Joe 👍
I never had a problem with Joe. I liked his calls.
Joes the best!
Joe is a great guy. Has a huge heart. But is very dry when a big play happens.
Exactly. I don't understand how people find it hard to believe people dislike his style.

The hair and head length that got him the job.
Dude's is a master impressionist
buck: 'i'm excited to get back in the booth'...
everyone else: that makes one person
buck: 'i really don't give a s***'
everyone else: we can tell
I always enjoyed Joe Buck, and as a Dodgers fan in St. Louis I thought he was better than most and can't wait to hear him and Chip tomorrow.
Dodger fan in St. Louis? That’s cool. I’ve never heard of that before.
I thought I didn’t like Joe Buck but this interview changed my mind. My mind is also made up on AJ 😡😑😆
He said it all in the preview "my dad". The only thing worse than listening to a game called by Buck and Aikman is one called by Buck and McCarver......yuk!
I like him real professional
AJ tried to give Buck the space to be a real person, to explain to fans how he appreciates them, and dude goes off about cashing cheques and being a bigtime network star, how he 'doesn't give a sh!t' what they think. Total dink? Yeah, confirmed af.
Joe Buck seems cool
He’s on TMZ constantly
Joe Buck is a good broadcaster and I respect him........ he just HATES Philly...... both the Eagles and Phillies
Buck's problem is that for years his calling in both baseball and football brought absolutely 0 excitement to the game. He's the TV voice of some of the literally biggest plays in the history of baseball and football, and his reaction to them rings of boredom.

I love how he owns the fact that his dad is the reason that he got the job. Never understood the hate. Always liked Joe Buck

legend!
I don't have a problem with Joe Buck. I've heard him call a bunch of games and see nothing wrong with how he does it. I don't get the hate for him.
I don't like since he called out Randy Moss for fake mooning the crowd in Green Bay, he made it clear that he had it out for Randy
Does he ask if the complaints are they justified. But from listening to him I think he basically doesn't care. I think his ply by play is poor.
The national broadcast was why you watch.
Probably not a great sign when you're left with AJ yelling about how you're misjudged as an a-hole. Oh he totally cares, he’s just trying to convince himself he doesn’t
joe’s gangster😂😂
Joe always seemed to me like he didn't enjoy doing baseball broadcasts. Maybe i am wrong, it just always seemed lie he wanted to be somewhere else.
Hard to believe that this had 11 hair surgeries
We're not jealous of your job Joe, you're just really bad at it.
I'm from St Louis and yes, I can't stand him.
Joe is hated because his former broadcast partner Tim Mac is hated by Yankee fans
Slamalama Ding-dong

Joe Buck hates the cubs
It’s the ego
I could not stand McCarver, and Buck was the other half of that craptastic commentary duo
I don't give a f$%k about Joe Buck
Who gives a fuck about Joe Buck??
Some people just project "I'm better than you" vibes and this man has country club tattooed to His forehead
