Please I have a big issue with my excel it reads currency e.g if I type $500 it would read it as a text rather than number or currency and when trying to analyze and sort in largest to smallest order I get bad results.... I realized I could change that by formatting cell before inputting the data, But when I got huge data from online which had dollar sign($) I realized there was nothing I could do to .... I can’t delete the dollar sign one by one as I have thousands of data and my friends excel doesn’t act this way. Please what can I do, it’s really frustrating
