Great tip. As far as I can tell the form facility does not produce combo boxes for multiple choice, but it does apply data validation to the text box. Hence, VBA forms still have some advantages. Thanks Leila!

The form existed in the older Excel versions (Tools menu, I think). I remember using this for data input many years ago. I had no idea it still existed. Microsoft tends to hide the goodies! Already added to my QAT. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Leila, Great Video as always. Just a small tip i found to make it more useful, if you want to increase the width of the entry form, just increase the width of ANY column of your underlying excel column. The form takes the width of largest column. Thanks.

I would like to somehow have them Enter their information in a form. And it goes to my spreadsheet. I was able to Do that with Microsoft forms but it had to come From the person Who was logged in. I steal like this video is putting me in the right direction. But not sure. Where to put this form so that the staff could access it. . You did a great job And I really appreciate when people show how to fix mistakes!

When adding data in the form, my number of characters seems limited to 245. This is not a problem when typing in the table cell outside of the form. Do you perhaps have a solution for this? True, VBA is much more flexible. This is just an alternative that is simple and works without it.

The keyboard shortcut is Alt+D+O when you’re clicked on a table. However, there seems to be a limit on power query tables. :)

I guess you have to create your own macro/VBA code for that. I don't know of another add-in that replaces this...

Try to hide the column(s) you don't want to show in the form. It seems to works fine......

Yes you can. Use data validation,but first you have to create a table with the 3 options.

Easier way: Use a Google form for data input, then connect it to a Google sheet. People will only see the form, but you'll have the data in the sheet.
