    My grandfather was a shaman. It was cool to watch and scary at the same time cause I didn't understand it till I was older.

    One of my grandpa is a Shaman. He saw ghost all the time. When we went hunting, he waved to no one there and said his Hmong name. Turns out the guy he said died 2 years before

    As a non-shaman, this topic is very interesting to me. Thanks for putting out the info out there.

    I really like the Billy Lor videos on youtube. I really wnat more videos on him. I like seeing shamanism from his perspective. Billy and Tassie Yang should do a video on it.

    We also have to admit that it’s hard to communicate when the Hmong language is so primitive and will never adapt/ advance. so the way we can express emotion and thought is very restricted.
    Whereas the English language allows us to communicate better and have a better understanding of what’s happening.

    Would be nice if there are any other Hmong people out there who are into Aliens or Extraterrestrial or mysterious Ancient texts and arts. I haven't heard or seen any Hmong people on those topics. And no it's not conspiracy talk.

      @@noeggspodcast Thanks for the reply, but I think he made the right decision. Sure there's alot of Hmong people who already believe in that stuff, but only the basics like UFOS and extraterrestrial beings, but majority of it actually invovles alot of religions throughout the world so it can be really controversy since majority of Hmong people believe in some type of gods or the supernatural and they don't wanna hear Aliens having anything to do with that.

    nobody's not mentioning on here about how our hmong shaman can actually go to the underworld and even take a person with them, to visit love ones.. some crazy stuff

    The truth is it’s difficult to learn period. If you do find a teacher, there is a good chance that the teacher is not teaching you to the fullest. It’s sad but it’s true. A lot of the older gen will not completely teach you everything. One reason why the hmong tradition in general is dying.

      I feel it's not a religion but more of a belief...shamanism isn't something you pray to or worship

    • @bdvisuals_
      @bdvisuals_ Год назад +1

      @yingyang0122 you just said it's a belief..... that's a religion. Shamanism is a religion.

      Shamanism is not a religion. A shaman is a spiritual healer. It's not a religion where someone makes up rules for a group
