They need some accomplishments to feel fulfilled and useful in their useless life So they went ahead to accuse players they feel little bit jealous + curious, all without proper evidence
@@sunk45 it’s all assumption tho it may sound like good reasoning but people saying “blatant aim assist” etc act like they can literally see the hacks going on when there’s none at all and they’re just blatantly pulling shit out their ass
It's funny that this phenomenon happens in every game: Players calling out your technique as aim-assist / aimbot / cheating and saying things like: "It's so blatant" "so obvious" "toggle" "hacker" as if the actions are impossible for a human. Then once they realize you're a top player they suddenly go: "Oh, that makes sense." Happens a lot in a ton of games at high elo. You're a hacker until proven otherwise, then once you've proven otherwise no one is surprised when 5 minutes ago they were saying how "blatant and sus" it was, lol.
The issue is hacking can look no different a lot of the time if the cheater is smart. Seeing through walls can be identical to footsteps if the person doesn't stare at people through walls and reacts to them coming around a corner. It just looks like good reaction time to audio cues. If 99/100 X a criminals it makes sense to assume that when you meet X they are. The issue is that 1/100 that gets hurt.
i feel like it's more an issue with competetive communities in general. now although i play very few competetive games, when i do, and when i come across a player who beats me hard, i always assume they're a smurf first, before hackers.
I had to quit World of Tanks when the player ranking scoreboard mods became popular. My winrate was quite high on my account because I used to play a lot of low tiers in a squad with my dad, and because the mod reported overall winrate on your name, I was "too good to be legit" and got flamed literally every other match for a solid month.
This is actually a very interesting experiment. Funny how those people will have no problem believing the exact same footage is legit when they recognize the name of the person playing it. The Exact Same footage can be either legit or fake depending of the name attached to it
@@DS-os1sy It really goes both ways when you think about it, the bigger problem is all those random people thinking they are experts in cheating, but can pass a cheater if they know the name, and accuse a legit player if they don't know it
This is perfectly reasonable logic, imo. If someone has been playing a game for years, and is famous for being really good at the game, it isn't surprising when they play well. Aside from a few remarkable incidents, the famous top players last long enough to become famous top players by not cheating, otherwise people who actually do know what they're talking about would catch them. The trust earned by their position is almost always justified. They've been grinding for years, the community knows they have those skills, because they saw them develop live on stream. When some rando shows up out of nowhere playing extremely well, it raises questions. To be playing this well, they must have an enormous amount of practice. Why wasn't that practice done on stream? If you look at most competitive games, the top players start out their public careers in fairly mediocre fashion, then gradually gain skills over time until they become the best. Someone coming out of nowhere with the skills of a top player is inherently suspicious. And this experiment proves exactly why. The person who mysteriously appeared was, in fact, not who they said they were. The viewer's suspicions were completely justified, albeit not in the way they expected. 95% of the time, when a new account appears out of nowhere with top player level skills, in any game, it's either a smurf, as it was in this case, or a cheater.
Go look at religion, or even world leaders. Many people fall in line just because of the name, in fact that is why we use phrases like "Easy vs West" is to lump people together and immediately encourage or discourage believing them. You don't even need to experiment, just look at history. More often then not we've done it.

@@etrkal thank you!!
havent even watched the whole video and I have to say this is such a creative idea good on ya zylice
I’m not an osu player and i actually try to find osu cheat and i already could tell the difference between cheating and not
So what I'm hearing is,
"Checkmate, Simps."
The good ending of the social experiment.
Really? What about the people who watched the streams but not this channel. They'll never know. Do you call that a good ending?
this went very well
idc if a vtuber is better than me
but zylice being able to play with hit lighting on, now THAT'S amazing
unwelcome school has to be one of the greatest bangers
god i thought my headphones died but there is just a random mute in the video 😭
Actually a good one. I feel kinda sad inc. that I wasn't there to experience it
If you experience it then you wouldn't know that it's really Zylice. Would you sacrifice knowing the truth to experience this?
@@danielyuan9862 I would find out about it sooner or later so I guess it'd be worth it

Which well... gave the same resul- *sound of nothingness*
as a person with 0 osu experience and that does not play osu, i thought all osu players were like this
2:00 love the person in chat
- Cringe
*starts playing amazingly*
- Wait I was kidding
dude I've watched this video at least 12 times for the past 3 months. This video is always recommended and I always rewatch since it's so entertaining. michael mode
recommended again after 5 days, time to watch again
@@aJanzu how many times have you watched it now that its back on the recommended page?
@@plutonicattic7995 about 6, absolute banger of a video
Nice experiment, Many things that we can learn such as it’s okay to be suspicious just ask for proof but don’t just thrown accusation without any evidence.
this just demonstrates how strongly communities like this rely on TRUST and barely anything more, because the viewers clearly can't tell what is and isn't cheating just by looking
we do a miniscule amount of tomfoolery
4:13 people: sends osu maps
L_ux: LETSGO YAE MIKO im gonna go pull rn
Bro. When the V-Tuber model looks like this
😑 you know it’s Zylice concentrating 🤣
God I love all the "It's so obvious" people being so sure of their very incorrect take
oh come on he alted on a key. no one would normally play like that
he alted on a single key lol
@@Icyshade. they said aim assist too
Explains the aim assist accusations. Stop defending it makes you look like one of them.
