So many of us would be good friends if we knew each other. Love to you all.. and a great thanks to her for sharing her beautiful one of a kind home! Alexandra. I have to agree with you there. I have collections also in my home. Living on an acre in the dusty desert and having a big dog coming in and out all day long, my farm house is very hard to keep up. I just have to realize it will never be spotless no matter how much I would like it to be. But I still enjoy it so much.

Oh my goodness! I saved this video to view again in my favorite house tour file. Gorgeous home with so many wonderful collections. They way everything is displayed is an art in itself. It definitely has an English cottage vibe...much like Tasha Tudor, as you described. English homes are my favorite as they exude charm, coziness....and are not afraid of color, patterns and interesting collections...and gorgeous gardents, of course. Gorgeous home! I'm looking forward to part 2 of the gardens. Already, the preview of that is exciting. Thank you, Linda....and thank you, to the homeowner, for the generosity of sharing this special home. 😍❤

It reminds me so much of my mother‘s home. She was a collector from yard sales estate sales to Auctions. It was so much fun to see things in her home. Unfortunately, I’ve lost my mom in 2017…and I miss her so much but this video reminded me of her, by the way, I’m very blessed to still have my 94-year-old father. They were a great team together and love to collect…sending hugs, love, prayers, and kindness with positive thoughts.♥️🌹🙏🏼👍🏼🦋

The house is perfection and the gardens look so fantasy like. As. Former antique dealer I appreciated her collections. I have a few myself. I am no longer a maximalist because I no longer, at 75, can keep it up, and I find this season of life I crave space. But, that said, I totally enjoyed her home, from top to bottom. As you said, the light was perfection in showing off her vignettes and wall art. Serious jealousy of the Sante Fe room. How gorgeous her collection is in there. May she live long and enjoy it all….

This woman’s whole house is very very much old New England. Reminds me very much of my grandmother’s farmhouse. Right down to the Dutch door, copper pots, ceramic pots, bowls, and old blanket chest.
My grandparents had Gardens, but they were full of food to eat. She was too busy racing nine children and running the farm to be bothered with a lot of cut flowers and fancy things.
What a treat to be invited to see a video of this woman’s home

I did book mark this as I had to keep pausing to try and take it all in. A lifetime of treasures and memories. The Santa Fe room is beyond belief! All the books, baskets and amazing collection of pillows!!! Just beautiful. We are so grateful she allowed us in, ANd that view of the pond with the canoe.... be still my heart!

YES, be still my heart ...that canoe on the edge of the pond is like a painting or an Estate in England. You just wonder if she seen heard of Tasha Tudor, her friend was clueless, and I can understand CA is far from New England. I learned of Tasha Tudor from my subscribtion to "Victoria" magazine magazine in the early 1990's. I need to add one of her books to my Garden Book collection. Her plants and their pots and stands caught my eye in her home and specifically her courtyard.... Yes, be still my heart what a tour and we have yet to see Part 2 rest of outdoors....saving this for sure! Thank you for sharing!!!

It's refreshing to see a cottage in Rancho Santa Fe. The downtown is quaint in itself but there are many large mansions/multimillion dollar homes in the area and Country Clubs...wealthiest part of San Diego County. (I'm sure this home is valued at a high number as well, given the market here and the size of the lots in RSF) I am a native of San Diego born in 1957 and would never leave. The textiles, crockery and French pottery alone are 😮💜 She seems like a sweetheart too. Thank you for sharing her…she is a joy! We felt some quake shakes from your rumbles up here in Missouri, Linda…not nearly to the degree you did, but we had an aftershock around 2.45 a.m. that rattled my ironstone plates hanging on the bedroom wall, and made me consider removing the large painting above the bed. That was a little unnerving! 🙏🏻

Great home tour! My cousin and I had so been looking forward to your presentation in La Jolla. As it turns out, I had to work that day. Then, the day before the event, I received an email that they had decided only members could attend and bring guests, so that meant by cousin was not going to be able to attend either. We both love your channel and we both have your book. Hope you make it out to California again, soon. Maybe squeeze in more home and garden tours and speak at a venue open to the public? : )

There is so much to her home. She mentioned something about realizing what she had. I find it hard to dispose of what I collect because I buy what makes my heart sing. I bet she does the same. No it isn't for everyone. (certainly not me). BUT it gives her a reason to wake up every morning and enjoy what she has. Wishing her the best. I have a small home and so some things go into storage for a time being. When I pull out a box that I haven't opened in a while I am so overjoyed by what I find inside. Still in love with those things and happy to share whenever people visit.
