Todd was burned by Bebe Buell when she couldn't suck more money out of him for Liv's upbring and therefore decided to announce that Todd wasn't her real father.
I’m a hard worker, 53 years old, I smoke pot daily for back pain and arthritic pain, and get more than annoyed when the younger employees constantly have a phone in their face, and try and do as little as possible, and are the first to ask for a promotion or raise. I give more than an honest days work, and instead of being angry about what others don’t accomplish, I feel good about what I contribute.
Todd sure seems engaged here, NOT. Looks like he would rather be ANYWHERE than sitting in this panel discussion. Wonder what he was thinking when he agreed to participate in this?
I'm shocked at the stupidity . Of course drug testing should be mandatory. Your employer needs to know if you're gonna be a liability. If you test positive for illegal drugs then you being high at work will affect your performance for which they're PAYING YOU TO DO. Also, you may be selling drugs to coworkers, or you may be more likely to steal from the company or hurt a coworker in a drug induced psychosis. U want the pilot flying your plane to be high and have impaired judgement?!?! Thought not .. There are so many reasons why drug tests are necessary. Drug users are a LIABILITY to employers . End of story
But can we acknowledge the crucial difference between: (1) an employee being intoxicated on the job, and (2) an employee being intoxicated during those private and personal "off work" hours? it doesn't seem right that your employer can fire you for something you do on your days off. A failed drug test doesn't prove the employee is under the influence, metabolites of drugs remain in the body for days or weeks after cessation of use, so it only shows the person used drugs at some undefined point in time, so it provides no evidence as to whether the drug use occurred on the job, or not. The culture of drug testing private employees constitutes a major overreach on the part of companies who operate in it, a clear breach of privacy, and doesn't provide sufficient evidence, on its own, to prove employee drug use while at work. Management should hire and/or fire employees based on actual qualifications and performance, not based on the results of drug tests, which are inherently flawed for the reasons outlined above.
That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to elected officials and law enforcement officers being held to such a mandate. If you really wanted to "drain the swamp," I could think of few better ways. Imagine the indignant shock when We The People find out the landed nobility has been partaking freely of the same forbidden fruits whose prohibition at their very own hands forms the foundation for the inexorable mushrooming of this country's (US) prison-industrial complex (and indeed, its prison population.) Come on, let me dream...
I'm just wondering what made Todd agree to this? I mean I know that's kind of always been the nature of Bill Maher's political shows either with Politically Incorrect or Real Time is to have either three or four sort of news people and then have a guest who is the odd one out usually an actor or musician but not always as if I recall right George Carlin was on there in the mid-2000s and George was always very informed and kept up with everything and Jordan Peterson was on Real Time that one time and George Carlin and Jordan Peterson feel like guests that fit that sort of show where with Todd Rundgren and I'm a big fan of Todd just seems like a weird choice for this sort of show and I would love to know what made him say yes to it. I don't think he was plugging anything major in 99 and even if he was surely he just go on Letterman or any other show if he wanted to plug his stuff on TV.
Todd tried to say something, but those wolves didn't let him say any word. At least, I agree with Todd, because I know that Todd knows; but others ...
Wow todd in politics .SCARY . Todd will always be a family type guy with family type answers.

Jim Goad whose older brother used to beat up Todd Rundgren was also was on PI. Whet a Zen Archer has such an observation.
Being a fan of Todd and Greg I'd love to hear what they think of each other.
Honest employees give honest work and results/ productivity that will be more profitable in the long run. Duh.

Todd was probably trying to remember if it was his or Liv's night to put out the garbage.
I must agree with Ms.ALLRED!!

What were those bleeps censoring Todd saying?
Probably strong language. When he speaks he lets the words rip out!

The "it's legal so it's morally/ethically OK" talk is...evil
Whatever happened to Bill Maher ? Now hes an old worn out corporate tool ...ugh
you're crazy he's hardly a worn-out corporate tool!
@@timhitt9541 it’s all in “your” perspective so if you say so .. it’s true in your “moderate” mind .. and no, I’m not crazy 😜🙄🤣
ma perché (TR) vá a quei cazzo di spettacoli?
