Basically, what you need to know is that Abidjan is a large megalopolis of around 7 million inhabitants, which brings together 10 municipalities or districts. each district is independent. that is to say each commune or district has its mayor, its transport system, its markets, its malls, its hospitals etc. in short, its own organization. for example, a person can live 1 year in Yopougon without setting foot in Cocody or Plateau. for transport there are state-owned buses, taxis which travel throughout the city (red one, yango, uber, etc.) and municipal taxis. the latter only circulate in the district. For example cocody yellow, yopougon blue, treichville blue, koumassi, marcory green, abobo yellow, Port bouet yellow, adjame green.
Appreciate the effort and the work you are putting into these videos It was fun A quick note , use google translator next time, you and your sister struggled in that taxi with the guy😅😅😅 you both did well but do use google translator to minimize your stress, take care
The orange taxis are called 'Taxi-compteurs' and they operate in the all Abidjan. However, each district in Abidjan has its own taxi service that only operates within that specific district and cannot travel to another district. Yopougon = blue Abobo = yellow with brown stripes Cocody = yellow Koumassi = green Etc..
26 million people, wow That's like Lagos State alone, excluding Ikorodu, Alimosho, and Surulere oooo With all the resources that is available in every African country, every African country with less than 50 million population should be able to make life better for her citizen much more better than Dubai and Saudi Arabia combined.
@RandomMZ1412 Lagos is actually over 30 million, which makes it next to Tokyo with over 38 million people. By 2023 census, the entire population of the ivory coast is 28.8 million. Do some fact-checking before you reply to this message.
@@BaronCapital-lt5oz kindly provide any verifiable source or data link that proves Lagos has 30m people because Neither NBS nor the Lagos state government can provide that information. So stop throwing numbers anyhow. Secondly, if she says 26m in Abidjan alone, sounds like you are both claiming, there are only about 3-4m people outside of Abidjan, the rest of Ivory Coast. That is obviously false. Therefore there cannot be 26m people in Abidjan. A simple google search will tell you Abidjan has only 5-6m people. Abidjan is just the capital of Ivory Coast, not the entire Ivory Coast. Pay attention my student.
@RandomMZ1412 It is evidently clear that you didn't do any research before you replied.
