Your animal mouth animations are the literal best I've ever seen. I know the Disney comments have gotten terribly old (and surely annoying when nearly every video each has 5 of the same "why hasn't Disney hired you yet" comment), but I'm not being hyperbolic when I say; you're performing at a Disney level in animating realistically-proportioned animals, which is something even Disney themselves hadn't really bothered to do in their 2D works, as they always gave their animals more humanoid skull structure for emotional exaggerations. Succeeding at giving anatomically-correct animal faces an emotional liveliness and having their mouths enunciate human words beautifully without falling into an uncanny valley is an incredibly rare accomplishment in animation ❤ I'm also loving the perspective-complex animation and the backgrounds (along with the sunset's effects on Breezepelt)
@@kittycatwild9283 there are tons of talented 3D animators, and most 3D productions still have a 2D foundation. But yeah art doesn’t seem to evolve with 3D quite as noticeably as it used to. The progression from Snow White to Lady & the Tramp to The Great Mouse Detective to all the Disney Renaissance films to Lilo & Stitch is striking every time and all are so distinct from one another. But while 3D seemed to be doing the same going from Toy Story to Monsters Inc to Ratatouille/WALL-E/Up, it feels like 3D hasn’t had styles evolve much at all since then and throughout the 2010s…
@@TurboPikachu Yes, although 3D animations are quite beautiful and I know they can still take some research to do, it's much more quickly to do rather than 2D animations, which almost puts it off as Disney not wanting to take the challenge of 2D because 3D is just more easier and popular to do. Exactly as you put it, 3D animation is all beginning to look the same, but I'm glad that Wolfwalkers film came out because it can show 2D can still be beautiful and unique!

The head swaggles is a technique perfected by Milt Kahl. It was used to both give stronger emotional reactions but also to flex his animation skills when he worked at Disney. Using it this way requires tremendous skill.
This looks so beautiful like everything about it and the coloring only makes it so better aaaaaa Also I think you really like drawing cats with laundry. First the like a river runs with the clothing lines, and now Breezepelt saying laundry 😂

You are a giant idol for me. All of your animations are AMAZING! You were the one that made me actually start to animate, around a few months ago, and really discover what art style flowed the way I wanted it to. When I saw someone animate like a physical Disney movie, it made me realize that I didn't need to grow up to sit in an office and mindlessly work away my soul with super high-tech drawing devices and such. I make all my animations with my trusty Chromebook, Flipaclip, and it's touchscreen! Though it isn't much, I'm really proud of how far I've made it, and I've always wanted to thank you for helping me start. You only improve with every animation that you release, and thank you so much for being such a big inspiration to me.

Here's some context for yall then! Warriors is a book series about cats living in the wild. Not really any normal cats though. They have an organized society and a religion too. The writing in these books are... horrendous. There are so many contradictions and mistakes and characters doing things that don't make sense that's it's personally torture for me to read. I only like the community now, because they make gorgeous stuff like THIS. They also have a funky name system. The black cat is Breezepelt, the dull brown cat is Heathertail. Breezepelt is being angsty because his parents fight and his dad doesn't pay attention to him. But Heathertail is all like "No no things are good and nice just be good and nice c:" but that makes Breezepelt angrier.
@Skywalker Kitty Other short note of what Warriors is: Cult cats who get into clan fights even though believe in the same cult things because drama. It starts off more like a outsider becoming one of a clan(Thunderclan) being a bit of a outcast but proving themselves while showing fellow cult cats there are times to put down the religious strict rules to help eachother. This scene goes waaaaay down the line of the books, new area, new characters. More of a heaven vs hell scenario.
@@SkiggsMoDiggs I wouldn't call the writing horrendous at all, the books are published on a swift schedule which means they often lack the scrutiny of a second or third pass. Dawn of the Clans, the first half of AVoS, etc, are great books
@@Barnacl3_Boi Most of it is pretty bad. Of course there's a reason for that, since they have to make so many books in such small time frames, but it's still bad. There are a lot of contradictions and filler, and certain plot points are dropped after a lot of buildup for no good reason. Not to mention all the retconning. A lot of the time what the authors are trying to tell us happened is completely different to what is shown (like in the case of Bramblestar, who was supposed to be a good guy that just made a few mistakes... lol) However a lot of the writing is really good too, especially in TPB, DoTC, and AVoS. And of course this is all my own opinions and I haven't really read Warriors in a while. I tried to reread it, but I stopped on the first book of TNP so I'm not sure how accurate my own opinions would be. I might just say this stuff because I'm still upset over how OoTS ended tbh
The emotion shown in this part is phenomenal, like you did SUCH a good job with it. Especially the slight head shake he did at the beginning and end of the animation? Small expressive motions like that do so much for the mood of the animation and paired with this song?? chef kiss I can’t put it into words, it’s just so well done, serious props ❤️

I've been replaying this for the fith time now and I still can't grasp how awesome this is. All these emotions and perfect expressions, the wonderful shading and lighting, the lip sync... Everytime I rewatch this I find something new to focus on and think: "Breathtaking"

Another fantastic animation! Gosh I love the backlighting on breezepelt when it comes into play. The soft edging to it looks consistent throughout and doesn't visibly hiccup during the animation. Just beautiful!
