Guide-coat sanding on a frame? That's above and beyond the call of duty!
Great job using a modern Ford power plant! Great series to watch.
That little rockabilly guy is pretty smart :)
Ecoboost powered F100. I LOVE THIS.
16:26 you can change the speedometer and shift speed with the programmer. You can not increase hp or torque on a n/a engine. The pcm does not control air flow off idle. If you want more power. You will need to change the cam or boost the engine.
I would definitely not go gloss for the finish but a Flat or matte finish for the frame or even use a spray in bed liner like process to coat the frame.
18:18 Those "slots" are only there to keep the "dimples" from cutting groves in your pads... according to EBC. : )
That’s what she said.
“Storing parts in a safe place” this just means that I am guaranteed to lose them later when I need them 🤣🤣
I want that truck! If I was given something like that I would probably never get to drive it because I would have passed out and break my neck.
I like it, I’ve been thinking swaping a eco boost into a 93 f150.
18:20 Stock GM pads are very high priced but no aftermarket pads will out stop them.
blackericdenice...yeah no, and anyone with an IQ score above 80 has enough common sense than to waste money on a Garbage Motors product....
Ok I just looked up prices for a junk and crate 3.5 EcoBoost. Both prices are in line with what a equivalent horsepower v8 cost! So before I go on a bashing on v6s! Is there anybody out there who would actually do a build with the 3.5 EcoBoost and why? I'm just curious...
Link on that tuner please. And will it work on a 15 5.3? I put 33 inch tires on it and my truck does the exact things yalls truck was doing.
Wow, really? It's called the description box for a reason. Check it before you ask questions. Besides don't be so lazy, Google exists. You are one of their sites right now so don't give any excuses.
I'm just to lazy! Lol. 🤣🤣
My question here is why did yall choose the ecoboost over the coyote?
That's a big intercooler. Overkill maybe?
There is more than enough room for the stock intercooler. Don't lie and say it can't handle the higher boost either. Remember Ford had a problem with them cooling too much. That is why they blocked off some of the cooler.
Why are those velocity stack donuts so pretty looking?! I rewound to look again.
Man jewelry for sure...
Those slip joints (or whatever) that let the intercooler piping move under engine torque without loosing boost pressure in genius!
15:20
Looks like the SHIT I just took
I’m guessing the cop is Williamson County Tennessee. I lived in Williamson County Texas for almost 40 years and didn’t recognize the deputy’s car!
Too bad LT quit!
Now I'm not used to seeing LT with full head of hair
Why a EcoBoost, I would of went with the coyote. Not a fan of the sewing machine sound.
Because fuel economy
@@jfindlay813 I don't build a truck for fuel mileage! Should of put a Prius setup in it then, lol gay....
They can add the v8 sound effect mode from the f150 lol!
@Spencer7445 _ The 3.5 can pull alot of Hp! Still sounds like a sewing machine. 5.0 has the best v8 note out of almost any v8.
@@rigging1377 fuel economy gay? Please explain.
To much crap to go wrong with those engines.
Third
horrifying straight corners that makes for bad flow
Cool late model motor. Whats sad is a Briggs and stratton would be an improvement and more reliable. Always sucks going backwards with a project. And I mean no disrespect to briggs and st. comparing them to that scrap metal yall are calling a motor.
Michael Teeple personally, if that were my truck, I'd put a 302 or even a 351 Windsor between the frame rails
SS Chevrolet Cheyenne
Every Ecoboost I have owned had an issue. Ford quality is up to par with Dodge= JUNK
pascal olesen....still MUCH better than any Garbage Motors vehicle, and foreign owned Asian produced hunks of junk....
Owner problem.
I worked for Ford. You should have seen how busy the shop was with them and the 5.0s tapping
Why would you waste your time on a Taurus motor? The 3.5 ecojunk isn't worthy of a build .
@Spencer7445 _ it started out life in the Taurus sho , Then went on to the f150s then the ford gt . Hopefully ford will step up there game because if they dont the new Corvette will eat their lunch!
Eco boost sucks
Ecoboost is shit.
Jesus 6.2 liters and only 369hp lol wtf is that lame shit lmfao 😂 that's cute
