This fight should've been stopped a few more clean right hands and (it might not look good but klitchko left hook was devastating)a few more left hooks and it could have been enough to cause a ring death. I think guys who used to retire so young 20 30 years ago is because they dread investing so much then the morning of the fight, you have old man pains and now they have allowed TRT they don't worry as much today. You can just see Briggs, he knew he was having one of those old man days that ambush you know matter what medicine you have. Also if they stopped before the fight with the TRT to wing off or make fair fight. The only thing Briggs has now to back up the sh!t talking is his chin.
Briggs made a second career out of running his mouth like a smart ass kid. He had this coming. He earned every bit of blood and broken bone. Karma!

In my opinion there are two ways to face the Klitschko's.
To attack them immediately at Mayorga's or Tyson's way having a chance to K.O. them(Sanders,Brewster) or risking to be punished(Peter,Arreola,Williams).
Or to hide behind the ropes like a pussy accepting to lose the fight but not your teeth like Haye,Johnson or Chisora.
But here Briggs invented a new strategy:to stay in front of him never daring to throw a punch and never trying to escape.Ridiculous!

Trust me when i say they do NOT HAVE QUICK HANDS.. They look like they are in slow motion.. And Kiltschko moves like a mummy from Egypt. No head movement from either boxer,, no foot work from either boxer. Klitschko hands are down, with his head sticking out. Briggs is just a loud mouth pre fight,, guess it was nerves.. Ali would kill both these two today if her was around.. You say they were tired by the start of round 2, yet both did bugger all. If that amount of work makes them tired, god help them in the real world of real work.
Vitali Klitschko has no will to go for the finish...its not in him...
That 10th round was extremely hard to watch. No wonder Briggs took 3 and a half years off after this fight.
Note to Briggs: LEFT JAB + RIGHT HOOK. Vitali was wide open the entire fight for a right hook, and he never threw one. If you're going to eat right hands all night, at least clobber your opponent in return. That's my thinking. Vitali held his right hand at his WAIST. Anyone could have hit him with a right hook.

Despite all my bitching about the bout. But what a performance by Vitali won every round by a big margined. He was outstanding from the first second to the last. Hit alot and didn't get hit. Kept up a very tough pace especially for heavyweights. Perfect performance by my preferred of the two brothers. Much more action when Vitali was fighting compared to his brother Imo ✌ fight fans
That announcer actually claimed that Briggs holds a "victory over George Foreman ".
Everyone who saw that fight knows that Foreman whooped Briggs ass. It was such a corrupt decision that it almost got congress to look into the fight game.

I would not have been surprised if Klitschko’s corner would have thrown the towel in being so frustrated with Briggs’ corner and the ref. Should’ve been stopped after 7th. Gotta respect Briggs for his resiliense though.
It seems that in this fight Briggs had some secret understanding with Vitali team that he wouldn't raise his both hands till the 12th round and block all punches with his face. What a man! Simply standing 12 rounds and getting hit more than 1000 times on the face. When seeing this fight I feel as if he was born to get beating.
Briggs collapsaed after this fight and had to go on life support. Vitalis stayed with him the whole time. Briggs's heart stopped and they had to zap him him back to life. Twice.
