- In the midnight difficulty you can acquire Masterwork Level Gear upon defeating enemies and completing missions. In the latest update, Team Ninja added two new Set bonuses : Ferocious Tiger and And Prodigious Dragon. The Prodigious dragon set has in my opinion the best bonuses since they effectively and positively change the way you play the game. From always having style advantage to reducing your opponent’s Max Ki, the set bonus is nothing short but a miracle. I am still far away from having the “best” build but those set bonuses change everything. The grind though….

I put on a movie and save scummed to get Ryomas handpicked cologne just so I could get the -1 set bonus requirement so I only had to equip 6 instead of 7.
Please do a tutorial video on midnight mode tips tricks etc. struggling hard here. ☹️
The easy way to take the accessory is you saving the game and give a lot of gift for Ryoma in one time. I gave to him 40 chocolates in one time and got 2 red items from him. The chances increase a lot to try the accessory.
For the Max Grapple Attack on the PD set bonus, someone on Reddit said the grapple martial art from the veiled edge katana style does work in the dojo, haven't had a chance to confirm myself yet.

You know, I love Team Ninja games like Nioh and Rise of the Ronin but I hate the Diablo style loot system. It's my least liked thing of the games.

Yass Diablo was trash even with the couch co-op they allowed and my girl was a fan so I had to shut that down and return to Tsushima until i finally jumped into ronin what would you advise someone who was low leaderboard level without even a leveled or effective build in the nightmare survival but hung in there since they don’t really have sword ⚔️ skill and developed three acceptable methods for playing those were the water stance have barrage exploit that got everyone through their first play through and the PvP legends space is not the same as the people who love the main story and dlc ikki cinematic epic ballad written to samurai fans ✍🏻 ( can you tell I have done way too many guided hyku poems lol?) they would clown drop from parties mid game and replace you if they saw you using any other sword which ignored this this training wheel water stance spam posting videos breaking down how much damage per second each stand was capable of and this to me was both my advantage and frustration if you were any good higher level melee you could learn the official broken moon master cancel ( it took me over a month to get the rhythm down well enough to grasp its execution due to my elite fundamental mastery of the four stances and understanding how to blend them shot me well past the learning curve and I have to admit that I was at my limit of improving ( though I still enjoy the art of subtle custom combinations I could string together that I still despite the basic framework had expanded into my own signature style but since the living mongols no matter how many or what class I faced none of them have the pace and urgency of how many super zombie mongols and other boss tier oni brutes and tengu spearman who would blast an endless crow stream of projectiles that easily blocked all your vision and always needed to go down first if they were in a wave and sorcerer disciples of the witch who is end game raid boss you can only reach with a four man coordinated infiltration into her hell dimension 3 part near impossible to know where to go and how some Particularly devastating obstacles that would be only visible to some if even one of the players and needed a party to have seen a walkthrough and talk thoroughly since any death resets the multiple hour mission to squads one that being why it only gets attempted when lightning ⚡️ strikes and you are queue with one of the insanely good Japanese guys who could direct three rogue kill hunters (samurai or hunter class survival mode players who due to how fast the enemy force is and how the waves increase in demonic super brutes who have a deep bag of spear (the hardest parry class was always spearman who most could only deal with with the wind style perk that automatically normal parried any in coming spear attack without any timing or chance of getting hit by just starting any melee light or heavy move so back to the survival mode spike of super demon legions attacking in multiple spread out waves towards all three of our circles we needed to stay alive and clear the enemy who does not follow the hey let’s take turns sort of trying some moves here and there that the main game does so you feel like you could actually solo the invasion well if you don’t take your wave out with extreme prejudice and full force depending on the class your team was made of could find your archer class unable to pick off the wave by hacking the fire animation and universal use of aim assist to ult spam the legendary skipping stone bow so broken your five auto tracking instant kill special ricochets after any head shot and can actually produce waves vanishing is forced to be up close sword fight with slower and weaker melee and movement and almost no damage resistance is praying a samurai can clear his zone and make it across the map before the hunter falls or worse the ronin healer class who was holding down the last circle falls and the only way to revive without a team res ultimate activated by a ronin you have to physically get to your fallen team before they are alone in the circle long enough to claim the zone lost which with each additional circle takes a third of your health cut and if you manage to arrive the downed teammates surrounded by elite enemies who won’t give you the uninterrupted 3-5 second reviving that is restarted if you take any from of damage and also starts from scratch if you have to dive or parry an incoming three way super wide sweeping hit boxes that also use lunging variations thrust for 🌀 spiraling are of effect distance covering one to two shot ko moves that all are different sequences (it’s like they took the khan and eagles dueling moves and stringed the. I see you only got 4/6 Prodigious Dragon. Are you finding it hell like me to get the last one need for 6/6? I got all 4 armor already with Pro Dragon included so I don't need any more for armor. That then leaves Accessories because they don't even have them for weapons which for the life of me I can't understand why. I only have found one included with Pro Dragon (so that makes 5) but haven't been able to get one other for 6/6. I'm not really interested in Ferocious Tiger despite having multiple of them so just one accessory has it.
So tell me. Have you gotten 6/6 Pro Dragon yet?
I have gotten 5 so far and Still am missing the one which comes from the Handpicked cologne. I do have all the one with Ferocious Tiger though so my grind will be minimal.
And I think maybe they are saving the weapons for future bonuses, that would be my only guess. I do wish you could change the stats on accessories though
@@Djisso Thought so. We're in the same boat. Getting one included with a Masterwork Handpicked cologne will be a hard grind because the only way to get it is to reset the public order area in Yokahama with Ryoma, beat him and hope for the best. Thing is resetting auto hikes up the public order areas to level 100. That's just to tedious a grind for me especially when there's a low chance of it dropping. Long story shot, it's just much too hard to get 6/6 of any of those new sets with too few options to equip them on.
Yeah it would have been great if you could change stats on accessories too.

@@DieKao Yeah but ask him how come he's only been able to get 5/6 still? The problem is getting that 6th set of any of them, especially Pro Dragon when there are limited gear available to house them and they're not available for weapons and very scare for accessories.
Plus gifting is a very tedious process whereby you could be gifting from whenever to kingdom come before you can even get a veiled vow and drop for so doing.

How bout map respawn setting in NORMAL difficulty? Sometimes you don't want to try hard all the time. Put maybe that's just me.

What does save scummed mean?
Basically you save your current state before doing anything definitive like gifting a character some gifts. If after doing so you dont get the items you were expecting, then you just load your save and redo the gifting as if nothing happened. Could be applied to other aspects of the game and other games as well
@@Djisso I did that when I started gambling to get $$ in Act 1. Bet a 1000 and win, then save. If I lose, I just reload my save like nothing happened. I'm not quite done with Act 3 on my first playthrough yet, so I'll give the gifting saves a try.

Most enemies in the game attack in a linear pattern, their attacks won’t usually track you like it would in Elden ring for example
In most cases, when you dash and land behind an enemy, you can deal a LOT of Ki damage by just using the new grappling attack since they will just continue attacking and eventually burn through their ki. Thats the best way to best way to use the forward dodge in my opinion
