The fact that this can be used in the loop and in front of your amp simultaneously is absolutely mind blowing and will save me so much space and add versatility. Buying one asap
You could also use this at two different positions on your pedal board. Like one pre and post dirt.

EQ, My favorite effect!
Good demo. I received my eq2 audio source this morning after having sent back the eq200 boss which disappointed me a lot compared to the mxr 10 band I had (bad bypass, setting too extreme even copying the settings of my MXR). This Audio Source is incredible with the software, you can set absolutely everything and I find the sound even better than with my MXR.
I'm dead certain this demo and the fact that Bukovac and Tim Piece both use an EQ pedal a ton will help sell this unit a lot. Great playing as usual Pete! Loved the demo.
This pedal seems like a my dream come true. I have been wanting a unit - ANY UNIT, that does ALL THESE THINGS. Buying one asap. 128 presets, tuner, two eq's post/pre, noise gate, which eliminates 4 spaces on the board ....plus it's midi and you can have a noise free wah using an expression pedal... I'm down with this big time.

Funnily enough my UK dealer mentioned this a few weeks ago as a pedal i should consider to add to my board. And after seeing the triple functionality (boost, tuning too) and getting your seal of approval i think that’s a done deal!

Man, when you took that wah lead, it made me want to punch a hole in the wall! Excellent.
It would be an interesting test for digital pieces like this to do a loopback in your DAW to analyze how much latency it introduces, if it has a true bypass and it's noisefloor. For lower latency digital they usually go as low as possible on the bit rate and depth which lowers fidelity.
I tested a tuner before that increased harmonic distortion even when in bypass mode.
Man I had to stop and go back a bunch of times! I cannot believe the tweakability in this thing! Absolutely 100% getting one. Unreal playing as always Pete. That thing can wah?!

I love the idea of one post and one pre EQ from one pedal simultaneously. That's exactly the kind of thing I would want from an EQ. I assume you can leave one of them always on while switching the other? I'd make good use of that if I could have the EQ in my fx loop for global tone correction to suit the stage with the option to still switch an EQ before my amp.

I’ve heard the wah from the Source several times now, and I like the wah from the EQ2 better than any of the wah pedals I’ve heard. Just saying. …EQ pedals are the magic sauce…
I play amplified harmonica, a EQ is the way to remove the “honk,” bring out the sweetness, and boost the signal. I use different mics that require different EQ, so this pedal looks like a step up for my board

Changes the tone with a bit of digital sound by two small merry eq s for stereo much cleaner sound
Pete -- it would be cool to hear the effect of EQ pre- and post- distortion *separately* (so, four versions of the sound).
If you have time, you could put that in another video.

That sounds like a very useful pedal! I can think of a variety of ways to use an EQ both on a pedal board or in an effects loop. It looks relatively easy to use out of the box, but I'll bet it is a bit time-consuming when you get into the MIDI programming and recall. Ah well, as my dad used to say, anything worth doing is worth over doing!

Killer demo, Pete. Always liked the form factor of the original. The only downside is the lack of manual sliders (which I personally find easier to use on an eq) but the software editor looks great! This or the Boss EQ200?

I realize I am quite randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to stream newly released series online?
I'm currently trying to decide what wah I want on my board, and being that I was already going to get this pedal, the fact that it can be used as a wah is extra cool. How do you use it as a wah? Is it a setting in the app? Also, would there be a way to have it turn off the wah effect when pulled back to the heel down position like an auto return wah?

I love how all your demo songs sound like little snippets of actual studio records. Those Suhr guitars always sound ridiculous. I really owe it to myself to get something from John, probably a guitar. Ben Eller has some gorgeous ones as well.

@@jonathanfrieze8497 ive still got the EQ-200 but trying to sell it. To be honest ive hardly used the EQ-200. I’m playing keyboards and my synth has tons of EQ built in.

@@saintjabroni I never did get it. It’s stupid money for what i need. It’s a pedal for people that need all those features but I never did. I ended up getting a stereo rack EQ for less than a third of the price.

Sorry I wasn’t clear it actually does have that! I was trying to keep the video relatively simple but you can adjust the q. It’s essentially like a parametric and a graphic in the same box

killer! hey pete, which tuning is this 30" ? baritone and what string gauges from - to are you using. i´ve got a 30" baritone myself and i´m struggling to get a usable tone. the standard 84 strings for the low E just sounds like a weak bass. rather than a powerfull downtuned guitar.
