I thought you could make Normal Maps in photoshop. Its one of the 3D filters. That Normal Map web site is cool and all, but its handy that in photoshop everything is in one place.
Great tutorial, but when you're adding nodes to the composite graph it would be great if you could ensure the viewer node is connected so we can see the changes each time. Subbed
@@kntyblender ah yeah that makes sense. I know it might be time consuming but this is something you could possibly do with editing if you had some extra time.
Thanks for the awesome tutorial and add-on! 🙏🏻 I have a question about all nodes you use for the normal map texture. If I have animation and put all these nodes for the texture, how the texture will appear - like on top of the video, like the camera has some kind of filter(or it’s dirty) or the texture will react according to the objects in the scene.
hey i download your "painterly demo" add on but i don't understand how it is supposed to work. i don't have a new tab on the N tab nor a i have a new node on the compositor node. can you help me ?
You can check it in Compositing tab->Tool side bar (pressing N)->Painterlify (Pressing the Button "Painterlify" will generate the effect make sure that you enable "Use Nodes"

@@kntyblender wow, that’s too good for me. I just have a laptop with Ryzen 5 5600H, GTX1650 4GB, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM, and 512GB SSD. Is that enough for learning and render simple 3D animation?
@@icethebear9478 Yes that's good for simple rendering and animation but for the handling complex scenes feels need to upgrade check it from blender open data website to the best cpu and gpu combination that is good for the budget
Download this free Painterlify Addon : knty.gumroad.com/l/painterlify
You're a king man. Really funny and informative tutorial

Thanks for the tip! (I cannot implement the viewer node while altering the nodes I dont have a powerful GPU, I'm working in integrated graphics BTW)

It will just overlay the texture if you have animation (It's better on render image btw)
@@kntyblender Thanks ✌🏻
