Since we know so much more about nutrition and excercise physiology, it's easier to stay in shape later in life .Start with avoiding what we KNOW is bad food and then pick up an excercise regiment that you can sustain .Not so difficult .
Tried to teach my dad to use a desktop computer years ago. He took a page and a half (legal size yellow pad) of notes. For step one! How to turn on the computer AKA push the power button. Everyone agreed not to bother continuing to step two.
The only things am scared of when it comes to growing old is the fact that I'll become a burden to my family Thanks for the interesting video can't wait for the full interview
I'm 75 years old this year and what I fear is video's making wild generalizations about old ppl ! What they didn't tell you in this video is that even if you eat the right foods, exercise regularly and have a stress free life, it doesn't matter, because at some point " stuff" just doesn't work as good as it should. So get over it ! So my advice is : Never lose your inner child. Remember life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. What you leave behind is not as important as how you lived your life. It's about attitude and gratitude. If you don't have joy in your life find a way to teach yourself to be joyous. It's true that the power of positive thinking can change your life. Don't worry, be happy. : ) P.S.: stop giving a sh*t about what other ppl think .
I just got hired for a new job at 56 - I am finishing my last year of university and I will be getting paid social work experience while finishing my masters degrees (MSW/MBA). I quit an 11 year job which was toxic for everyone there, and I am fixing things I always wanted to - I am cavity free, so I got braces. I ditched glasses for contacts. I was disabled in the military so I am finally getting off my butt and walking (four herniated discs lumbar). I am cooking and lowering my calorie intake. I was raised blue collar, but now I am very liberal. I just wish I knew what to do about getting energy.
Congrats Caitlin. Try different supplements and Try b12 energy injections at the small spa clinics. The one doctor gives out doesnt have much stuff in it.
And some of us are adventurous. You can't generalize. I like to make new recipes and sample new cuisines. I'm still catching up on things I missed when I was younger too, not exclusively repeating the familiar. (I'm 62.)
I'm 70 and have some PTSD flashbacks about life regrets. What seems to help is recognizing what the present time trigger is, at the moment it happens. If I am in the flashback I try to recognize what the present time trigger was and then acknowledge the trigger. There isn't a lot we can do about regrets but we can be aware of the triggers and trace back walk back into the present. As well, I tell myself the regret came from a "previous life", and that I am no longer THAT person, and to move forward with who I am now.

Many of these are spot on; mostly, however, for those who tend to feel they've nothing left to learn and are zombie-walking to the finish line. For some of us, one of the gifts of older age is an ever growing awe in existence itself and the Big Questions. The staggering vastness and physics of the universe, the stunning complexities of live organisms - especially humans, and why is anything and what is nothing, to name a few. Careful though, a love of learning leads to the realization that we really know very little - collectively and individually. It can, however, be incredibly freeing and provide a healthy dose of humility. Amazingly, we have a massive vault full of gold in the form of recorded history - first-hand documentation of societal patterns that repeat over and over and over....We all have a key but we pretend the vault either doesn't exist or that we've lost the keys - or both. Finally, the phrase 'Curiosity Killed The Cat' can take on a whole new meaning as we age. Why? When you're interested enough to really dig into something beyond attempting to confirm your existing beliefs - which takes effort - you're going to find out things you didn't know. Then, you'll be confronted with choosing between maintaining ignorance or embracing growth. The former lies at the root of most of the negative behaviors described in this video. My take, anyway. I'm 64.

Please don't "share" the John McAfee video if he spent the entire time with his face warping around like it was in that clip... the audio was fine other than it sounded like he'd been drinking. But he is right "when you have money other people think you should 'help them' in a way that allows them to acquire your money..."
I think being left all alone miserable is the greatest fear I had in my mind right now in getting older. At this prime of my life today, I am grateful to Alux about this reminder what things would be getting harder as we grow older 👍
Don’t forget people are living longer. So turning 30 years old in 1980 is way different than turning 30 in 2030. Age is relative to lifespan and physical ability.
54 here. It was mostly good. Some stuff like tech is way off unless you are perhaps really old. There are people in thei 60s that do perfectly fine with tech. I have noticed that young people in their 20s are kinda ignorant about things while we have seen this movie before. Nothing really changes at its core. Shakespeare still resonates for a reason
at 41? I lost everything to Covid, I"m 55...one thing you will learn is forces beyond your control can take it all in a minute...yep, get to start again, should be better, gotta embrace change no matter your age, God is in control, trust Him
The marriage one is huge...... Don't settle, don't marry too soon! Marriage is one of the MOST important contracts you'll sign in your life, along with you mortgaging your first home
R.I.P., John. Highly misunderstood man. Had the honor of serving as a delegate at the 2016 Libertarian Party National Convention where he ran as a U.S. Presidential candidate for the party's nomination. I remember having received a hand-written note from him (the only candidate to do so) and which I believe he sent to every delegate. To this day I intended to write him and let him know how much that gesture meant. Life has been busy leveling up, and now he's gone so I'll never have the chance...

I’m already hyper paranoid at 36.
What do I fear most about getting old? Living till 93 years old like my mother.
Piece of advice from my elderly grandfather: it is necessary to do what is right. It is not necessary to be happy
A video made by a young person, I'm almost 58 and thought most of it was BS. But I'm not sure what you mean by old lol...... !!
I am affraid to get old and don't have sufficient money. i am 41 now. thank you very much!
at 41? I lost everything to Covid, I"m 55...one thing you will learn is forces beyond your control can take it all in a minute...yep, get to start again, should be better, gotta embrace change no matter your age, God is in control, trust Him
@@andrefecteau that's true! But time is running...
Dude John Sir was kinda spooky here!!! That actually kindled my inner courage 🤘😎
Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready
Always dropping gems. But the parent relationship hit home. My dad toxic and I finally learned to cut him out of life.

16. Living for the Future (gets harder). Bottom line for anybody at any age: You only got the Here and Now. Live in the present!
The ending was so hauntingly inspiring! Love it, great video
the way the guy at the end said it are very hollywood main scene with good brown filter, I dont usually comment but today I had to for something so scary topic and simple ending
older people like those in their 60's do like to learn more because we want to be current, not flashy, just wise and still see what is considered cutting edge, not bleeding edge. so I would be more flexible with #10. BS is more noticeable as is naiveté

Hi Alux - the new training website isn’t allowing me to submit my email address. I keep getting an error message, I tired on two different devices and got the same “Opps” error message.
Wow! John McAfee!
Thanks Alux✌🏾🙏🏾
The one this about getting older is when your body stops working the way you want it to.
The more I practice my trades, the luckier I get. Normal people see it as luck but I see it as the fruit of my labor .
“Any idiot can make a million dollars but very few can keep a million dollars, because if you got a million dollars.. then every parasite in the world wants a piece of it.” - John McAfee 😇 rip Mr. John
It's easier to accept the fact that I'm going to die. It just feels worse to accept it.
My fear with dying is growing old and not accomplishing what I had set out to do.
What gets harder as you get older is waking up early in the damn morning
Mine would be Alzheimer’s, from forgetting about u ALUX. I never want to grow old!!
Alux can you turn off that background music cause i can't focus on what you're saying

Rest in Peace, John McAfee
Thank you for this valuable video❤️💯
We thank you for being here
Why I love this channel so much?
I immediately thought of one thing that stops getting “harder” as we ( males ) grow older...
Pretty sure every guy over a certain age thought the same thing.
math problems? i keep telling her that is ten inches.
Some of these comments are really insulting! All this Alux does is giving u info on the surface.
I will borrow some words from Enrique's song 'maybe'.
If I had once single wish,
I’d go back to the moment ..when I was going out with her and then later flirting with her(an other).I should’ve been just a little bit insistent..
You guys are the best. Keep up the good work. And may we all age with grace. InshaAllah. Ameen.
I didn´t know Garry V was your mentor. You sound like much more... much more : )
I really want to see that interview. He's brutally honest and that want me love about #alux
Well... i am 80...I can tell you that there is ONE thing that does not get hard as you age.

Got that right!
71st. But still above ALUX
Number five is rather insulting to older people and is not a given for every parent-child relationship.
Are you kidding, this ENTIRE 🤤entertainment video is 🤨insulting. I can only hope to grow old and be wise and discerning as the older citizens that I have had the pleasure to work with and the way they can 🤫spot B.S.!!!
I have a fear of dying even as a kid I remember just staying up crying because I watched so many close people to me die so that’s my fear even at 29 it scares me even tho I know it’s natural. I’ve always felt that I’m running out of time to do things

There are values that are timeless
He isnt wrong...
That's why it should indeed a secret the amount of money you have or you can generate.
Alux excellent content as always. Ending interview please play full version!
I am 37 years older and feel like I haven't live my life.
I would say 16 should be wear and tear. Life gets harder on your body as you get older which sucks.

Accepting that I'll die is normal. As a Muslim this life is worth nothing.
To be alone because I'm childless
What is risks must 21 years young go or any worth it?
I have a great relationship with both my 30 year olds!
I'd like to see the whole version.
Of course we want to hear what Mcafee said…
