You know, coming from an extremely wealthy family growing up I found out that money is not everything. Ask a billionaire whose daughter needs a bone marrow transplant that his money can't buy if money is everything! Rich is not measured in how much money you have, it's how much quality time you have left
About 20 years ago a friend told me that you can be young and poor but being old and poor really sucks. My dad had a sister who was the only one that never got traction on a career.
Her state of poverty was upsetting for the whole family. Two of her sisters were social workers who between retirement, social security and investments would have had easy retirements if it wasn’t for the stress of having to help her out. (She did have a son who had his own financial struggles.)
Honestly speaking, this channel offers way more value than the get in return, it's just mind blowing
Don’t be scared of the new, embraced it and you will be rewarded for it.

Alux changed my mindset to a rich mindset when I was massively in debt and working a dead end job. I was allowed to wear headphones on the job and Alux came waltzing into my life. Very thankful, you should all subscribe if you haven’t already.
Good job on the change of mindset man it's good to know that others listen to it at work as well your headphones that's the only reason why I pay the 10 buxks premium for RUclips I try to listen to it everyday
Well said, Casey Burns. Alux, podcasts and similar replaced music and news in my daily routine.

If you earn every month 6000 and spend 1000-2000 every month you are basically rich!
This is what I was doing all of 2020. I was deployed overseas in Kuwait through the reserves. I was making almost 7000 a month (tax free) and was only spending 1200-$1500 on bills. I was pocketing over 5 grand a month.
No. You’re not. You’re well off. You’re not rich.
@@maryscottoconnor1203 you're right. Rich by definition is $2.3 million. To poor people 100k is rich. I remember my first job in corporate America back in 2012 I thought 45k was rich. That was until I saw those CA taxes. 🤣

1) put all effort into your job, no matter what it is and how crappy it is. 2) Make yourself the expert at your job; make yourself too valuable to get rid of.. 3) Volunteer for the shit details 4) Mentor the younger workers to take your place. 5) Don't get comfortable in your job. When you are too comfortable, and getting bored, start looking before you lose value. If you do 1-4 successfully, you won't have to worry about getting a better job because you will get people trying to hire you away from your current job.
I think tattoos should get an honorable mention. I personally know people who sleep on their friends couches but are always talking about their next tattoo.

People with piercings especially with nose piercings. Not only it’s trashy, it also cost money and physical pain. I lived in a poor neighborhood and then a rich neighborhood….it’s a huge cultural difference because u can find flashy stuff at poor neighborhoods and simple stuff at rich neighborhoods. Understanding exponential growth is the key to investment. Once you hit the inflection point on either an investment, or simply paying off debt, you'll start to really understand.

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, And your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; When distress and anguish cometh upon you. Never understood that.
Can you imagine how the entire economy would function if everyone only replaced their items once they wear out. I think it would be almost impossible to avoid another great recession seriously.
