The fact that there is already an excessive amount of demand awaiting its absorption, despite how everyone is frightened and calling the crash, is another reason why it is less likely to occur that way. 2008 saw no one, at least not the broad public, making this forecast, as I'll explain below. I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. I thought that high-paying job would change my life, that something would be changed in my family dynamics. I've always heard about lack of money and lack of space to live together because of lack of money to afford a bigger apartment. So I've worked my way to good-paying job (to the country standards I earn x2 the average income, so pretty good working in the 9-to-5 for just 5 years starting without any experience). You see, my dad left us before I was born (there is a whole story as well), my family never was even in the middle, always somewhere between poor and middle, we were living 3 generations (6 people) in a 3 room apartment. My mom left me at grandparents' home (the same apartment) when I was 10 to live with her new husband. Now 15 years later, I know that the money was never the problem, the lack of taking responsibility for actions was. I don't regret working hard last 5 years, as I made my life more comfortable, and I can now afford to buy some things for myself and my family, and I can pay for a therapist.
Good for you!! I had not so great parents as well (putting it mildly!) And I worked my way to where I am. Just don't give up, you've got a great drive and attitude and will go far with both! Don't forget to invest, friend!
That's really amazing. It's about the mentality. I had this issue growing up too. I always thought it was money but really it was mentality. I pray for your continued success, I am not rich but message me sometime! I like people with your mindset.
The current teenagers are called Gen Z. Please stop degrading Millennials who are now in our late 30 down to the 25 year olds graduating college with their second degree or their masters. My uncle is very successful and Rich, he wears jeans and Polo shirts when he isn’t in a business suit. Works out daily and only takes those 7 day vacations a few times a year to recharge. No fancy watch, no fancy designer clothes, nothing crazy. The ONLY way you’d even somewhat know he has money is by what he drives. He only owns various Porsche but that’s because he loves the brand. He told me you have have to do things for YOU. He stated don’t buy a car you can’t afford or clothes you don’t really want to show off for others. Wear those comfy jeans and that favorite faded shirt if it feels good. Drive a Honda or a Toyota because they are good cars and cost very little to maintain. Saves money that you can invest instead of spend consuming.
I live in Southern California in an extremely wealthy area the well off dress like bums around here you would be shocked how many millionaires shop at 2nd hand stores.
Nah, the Kardashians dress well. And so many rich people too! Just not so obsessively like the poor or people that don't have control over themselves. ☺️👌
I agree that a lot of broke people fake being rich but at the same time this notion that truly rich people dress like peasants and act poor isn’t true. I feel like maybe in the tech industry in Silicon Valley a lot of them dress simple and boring but most rich people I know dress nice.
True…. I too live in a millionaires’ area…. They too just wear T shirts and shorts…. And Move in their Audi SUV or any other decent cars not like Lamborghini and all….

My wife and I started and sold a business years ago for about $13 mil. We then helped out friends and family with some financial problems for amounts ranging from $10K - $300K. I was amazed that not a one of them appreciated the money nor did they feel obligated to pay it back. That was 30+ yrs ago and only one person (my brother) ever paid it back, the rest just assumed we could afford to give the money away and kept it. I never said a word to any of them, but if it were me I would have felt obligated to pay back the money just as soon as I was able. It was shocking. Also, to a lesser extent, every sports team, organization and school function for the kids felt like we should be the sponsor of everything, buy all of the uniforms, pay all of the tourney fees, pay travel costs, etc... Just shocking the expectations of others.
Your fault for not setting the expectation of paying back upfront. No loan ever gets given without negotiation of terms no matter how liberal the terms may be. Your brother paid back because he felt an obligation, just as you said you would do. I assume 30+ years ago you were young and naive about the human psychology. You should know better now rather than still be surprised by it.
Nobody becomes a millionaire or a billionaire by working for others and depending on them, good investment bring millions of dollars, and consistency brings billions, the market is all about BTC at the moment now....
speaking of investing, forex trading is the best business in the world right now I know a couple of friends who make a lot of money weekly trading the financial markets

I am in America, but I love the comment, and am glad to have seen this thread. This is what Alux calls the Rich Mindset to see this connection and get excited. Hello Everyone, I am Dee.
I do a service for multimillionaires. At first I felt a friction as we negotiated terms. They are frugal. But I'm frugal too. Nothing wrong with that. As I've gotten to know them, they've shown their human side and endeared me to them.
I am from India. I always hear people around me, including my parents and relatives, blame Mukesh Ambani for stealing all the wealth of the country and letting the country die in poverty. I grew up hearing these opinions so I believed them. But a few years back, when I was introduced to the alternate thoughts about wealth and rich people from different books and from this channel, I realised how wrong everyone is. I try to explain them that the number of jobs that Mukesh Ambani has created in this country is remarkable. I don't think the Government of India has enough to employ all the individuals if it was not for these entrepreneurs. But the truth is most people don't want to believe this.
There is a lot of hate towards them but a lot of neighboring countries are not as fortunate because they dont have ambanis during covid. Tata did all he can for India. All the rich that i am aware of always do good for their country whether they live abroad or not. Currently the Ambanis are building some green spaces so that we can atleast prosper from the environment. Or try to fix the damage. The projects are big. I was very shocked to see strong hatred towards Indian culture and India in India.
When she said real rich people don't want to be on the Forbes list, I immediately thought of Kanye West. He was complaining about being an unrecognized billionaire. LOL
I always wanted to be a millionaire from when I was very small and so I worked and I worked and I worked and looked forward to that day, and then when it actually happened I was so busy that I didn’t notice for about another four months. When I was working on my personal financial statement I looked at it and thought “Huh…. Doesn’t feel any different.” 😂
I don't know who, but someone actually needs to hear this, you've got to stop saving all your money. Venture into investing some, if you really want financial stability

After listening to Deepak Chopra's CD - Affluence A - Z, it caused my paradigm to shift. As a child, I lived in an area that had a lot of financially wealthy people while my parents were at or below the poverty line. There were 2 families whose children I went to school with, who were cousins of the Kennedys. They were driven to school in a black car with tinted windows by their personal driver, then picked up after school. During my life I have met, still know some very wealthy people. Mostly, they are just every day people. I have learned a lot from each of them.
I bet still helped you to be around those kinds of experiences and knowing what could be possible...rather then being in an "all poor" neighborhood, where all you saw was poverty/lacking and that being "the norm".
I just recently bought a new couch lol... but it's actually nice and I like it. Once I got it, it did feel good. I had a couch before but not as nice... anyways. I stay grateful and I'm still happy about my couch. I have a designer wallet and I still enjoy it. I enjoy everything I have. I'm grateful... I don't even complain about my high car note, I'm glad I can afford it. Life is great, just gotta remove certain people that constantly make life bad. Even if you are related to them. Let them know to shape up or ship out.
My moment came when I realized that I was blessed in order to be a blessing. I applied this principle long before I had extra money. It became a character trait. A core value. Even at times sacrificing my own comfort in order to meet the need of someone else. I had more joy in discovering that about myself before I had money, than I do now with money. Having a proven, noble character is worth more than all the riches in the world. It is something that never can be taken away from. Who can you be a "blessing" to right now? Go now and do it. 😊
I hate when folks use the example that wealthy ppl dress regular…. You all need to meet more wealthy folks and understand fashion. They can wear a regular polo and slacks but check the tags and you realize it’s different from what you buy in target.
The "Rich people focus on increasing income, poor people focus on cutting down expenses" is a phrase to remember for a lifetime. The only part of luck I believe is finding information
I used to think getting into a prestigious private college could secure a white collar job that could easily have a upper-middle lifestyle. Now as a senior at NYU, I found myself still struggling to find a good job and get into a good grad school.
Rosemary, college is a great time to network with people from different progressive walks of life. Find aspiring people and connect with them. As you all branch out into different things, stay in contact with them. Be a resource for them and allow them to be a resource for you. "Team work makes the dream work." Always work on upskilling yourself and working toward your goals. You never know when opportunity will come knocking, be ready with your skill set always polished. Keep your head up

You can learn swimming anywhere later on, so try to maximize and use the unique opportunities NYU offers. Good luck to you, Rosemary.

The most expensive item of clothing I own is a jacket that was 200 dollars. It's plain as can be: grey with a pink zipper and a layer of insulation. It's meant for the spring and fall and it is very forgiving of temperatures. It's kind of like an all-out jacket. It's high quality. It's not tacky but looks like something you'd get at Walmart for $40 dollars. As far as goods go, we live in an age where we can make knock-offs of art and fashion, allowing everyone to have more selections based on their taste. I'm eventually going to buy a print from my favorite artists. What many don't realize is that if you get the high-end stuff and aren't rich, like save a year for it, you are most likely will be robbed.
I'll tell you something ALL YOU'RE FRIENDS don't tell you... You don't have to be Intelligent to succeed great things or Success in order to be RICH & POWERFUL... 'Whenever YOU sit for an Exam or Test at School, College, University etc - The Teacher or the person who Grades YOU doesn't test to see how Intelligent you are, They mark you're Scores based on how well you're MEMORY is!' The BEST asset you have is not to POISON your brain, You will be Surprise how far life will take you if you Focus on Bring out the BEST Version of YOUSELF with whatever unforeseen circumstances life serves at you... Plus the ONLY friend you need is the PERSON you share you're BED with, NO ONE else.... Have friends when you retire...
This is the most difficult thing I ever can find on the internet. People who have enough life experience to figure it out. And not poison their brains with stupid crap disguised as "important stuff". To really know how this world really works is a blessing.

For the record, poor people will likely have a problem with this video, but they must not be in denial and rather say thank you to ALUX for disseminating this information step by step. Interesting how we got lots to say when we are on the sideline, on the bench until we get in the game, then find out things aren't what they seem from over there. Isn't this self-deception and a sad state? Let's face it, no one is giving us such valuable insights like ALUX, and so as for me, I will forever be grateful. The one thing I thought would change my life was growing up outside my native land in a communist nation, where it seems almost impossible to get a VISA. I long to be in the States. I met a guy who had 100 milions euros cash in his bank account but he was a totally unknown man he said one clear thing: I am the most free person of this world, I can afford anything, but I can calmly and safely walk on the street (in every street of whatever city) without paranoing about my safety This takes us to point #12 > many rich people (surely more than you think) have a wonderful life without excessively showing it, and in this way they feel free, safe, and surrounded by true friends
Being able to buy what you want and wander freely is a great thing. Perhaps being able to buy whatever you want also frees you from wanting things. "I could buy that, but do I really want it? Where am I going to put it at home? Is it actually better, or is it just fancy?"
When we were poor, we thought that the rich ate steak all the time. However, upon arriving, we did eat steak frequently for the first several months, --- then it became very ordinary. Now we eat steak occasionally and eat a variety of other foods.
The “eat the rich” argument is more nuanced than that. I think one major component of that is the idea that corporations buy politicians and wage/union debates. Not about rich people just randomly handing them money out of nowhere 😂
Thank you! On top of that, Sergei and Larry didn't earn billions of dollars. They created a business structure and took advantage of a broken system that steals wages from their employees so they can have more than they could possibly spend in their lifetimes. No one is looking for a handout. They're looking to *earn* the wages they actually deserve. Without the employees, the rich would have virtually nothing. They're not dependent on a set of higher-valued skills. They're dependent on the employees continuing to work for the less-than-livable wages the rich pay them.

I think the big problem is that 10 percent of the people get half of the wealth we produce. I wonder what percentage of labor is done by the other 90 percent.
You've conveniently omitted that the wealthy (in the US, at least) are able to generate their wealth via the *infrastructure* made possible by a large Middle Class.
I thought I have to work less and more fun time if I get money. Now I work 7 days a week and fun is something that I don't even understand what it means. Only advantage is that I feel I have a purpose in life to live. Rest is just full of tension and issues.
Took me a while to realize I was making the amount of money I once dream of. Is no big deal. You won't get any happier. After a while is just normal. People expect you to be radiant and glamorous without problems and an easy life, that's just not the case.
This is my favorite channel. I must admit I went through the poor persons syndrome for a few years. Gucci, LV (I cringe 😬). I actually have managed to get rid of most of my bags.
The most important resource in human existence is time. Rich or poor, once gone no amount of money can bring it back. The Shortness of Life by Seneca is probably one of the best books written on this subject. Time is money for rich people, and money is time for the wise. Thanks.

Your question, is a tough one to answer. Personally, I stopped wanting what I couldn't afford, like my own home, for example, because they go up in price faster than I can save for it, and I'm not willing sacrifice my free time, to earn more money. So, I accept what is.
Good point about affordability vs. sacrifice. I’m learning to not justify wanting and spending on something beyond my level of comfort, now or in the future.
The experience that I was looking forward to, but realised was not so great was buying a brand new car! Don't get me wrong, it was a wonderful experience but once I realised that I lost all that value just driving off the lot, it really wasn't all that much better than buying a slightly used car!

Item6 ... respectfully disagree. I am very "comfortable" and it started by keeping expenses down. I also kept increasing income and saving/investing as much as possible. Eventually, investments earned more money than I could earn by working.
The "magic" of giving went away after I started making more, tithing and giving more, and I realized that more money didn't solve the BIG problem. The BIG problem is evil and suffering in the world. However, putting more financial resources towards ministries and worthwhile programs DID change ME. I am not the center of the story, God and other people are...
I thought moving to my dream state would solve everything and make me happy. While I do feel much happier in this state, the excitement has worn off after a couple of years. I feel something is missing now, and that is working in a industry/career that I’m proud of everyday. Something that I can leave behind one day and be proud of.
On #4. This is not 100% correct. Knowing a few rich people, they do want poor people to do better BUT: 1. They won't want this if it means giving up any of their own wealth such as increasing taxes on the rich, changing tax or corporate laws. 2. They don't want it at the expense of their children's advantages. The rich have many advantages in government that the poor do not have, including schools, law enforcement, lobbying to politicians, access to equity and funding, etc and any equalization (eg: rethinking the role of police or changing lobbying laws) is not supported. There is a reason why even liberal billionaires act like billionaire conservatives.
This is so awesome!!!! After staying tuned to this channel, I have become more positive and learn a lot more. This channel makes me confident and not envy other people's wealth! I am rich in a different way and rich with something even a gazillion money cannot buy.
Going to Dubai. I thought Dubai was the ultimate goal. I would fly through for work, and I vacationed once but after the 5th time flying through, it got old. Unless you’re super rich or a celebrity it’s not that great (it’s cool don’t get me wrong). Travel in general is fun for the pictures and once you get to the destination but “traveling” f-ing blows. Long flights, lugging your bags around, costs, and currency exchange. It’s great for an experience definitely. I don’t miss the flights unless I’m in business class on an Emirates flight.
I come from Asia. In the country I come from poor people wear branded stuff & are broke. Or they wear fake stuff passing it off as authentic. What they don't realize looking rich & actually being rich is 2 different thing. It will hit hard when it's near retirement. Too late to scratch head.
Up to now I agree with what you said before.. money only solves money problems… so I learned it the hard way. Then again money is a tool to help solve other problems..
That’s actually a really valuable skill, just replace girls with the feminine side of everything, including money. That’s pretty much what I do and it has brought me tremendous value.
Alux , you have alot of great inside and knowlage .calling out people you guys are amazing even making good lessons and as fr people on your number 2 is very accurate .....
This video is true and yet not true at the same time. The most wealthy people do spend money on flashy expensive things and they do wear designer clothes. The difference is they know how to negotiate price. They are always looking for the better deal or companies that will give them something in exchange for something else. The "poor" in comparison think being rich means you pay for things no matter the price which leads them to overwhelming debt. The rich tend to buy/invest into things that increase on value while the poor do the opposite.

What is your work?
God bless you sweetie glad you got someone to talk too🦋🌻❤️

I stopped buying fancy cars and clothes and after ten years paid cash for a house driving a beat up pick up truck and wearing jeans
It doesn’t matter if you your rich or not...live your damn life how you want.
The fake rich have ruined my nation, their attitudes, they way they deal with problems, everything they do is foolish. Fvck that noise, the fake rich needs to sit down and STFU
@@donm2067 What is fake Rich?..or is that the poor people going against other poor people...its laughable at this point

@@klopcodez fake rich, buying a bunch of crap you can't afford, taking on more and more debt trying to keep up appearances. Trying desperately to appear wealthy, treating those "beneath" them like dirt.

Dieing with one million on the bank and never enjoyed driving an Aston Martin .
Buy an expensive car & then find out how expensive the maintainer is.
I have 3 rich people in my family, My great uncle (Who is old Money) owns lots of farm land in the north of England, he drives a 20 year old Land Rover Defender. My Uncle, self made millionaire no longer drives, but when he did, he had a Vauxhall Astra, my brother in law, another self made millionaire does own a 911 Turbo, only ever seen him drive it once in the 10 years he has owned it. The rest of the time he drive a Audi Q7 or a Electric VW-Golf.
Every time I buy something which I thought I wanted, once I have it, the magic goes away. Now, I appreciate minimalism.
Poor people watch this video while Rich people won't. Lol.
Item6 ... respectfully disagree. I am very "comfortable" and it started by keeping expenses down. I also kept increasing income and saving/investing as much as possible. Eventually, investments earned more money than I could earn by working.
Lot of people think Hermès clothings are boring but lot of Hermès costumers are wealthy people who want luxury in subtle.
One of the best comments I've seen on any financial channel on RUclips. Kingdom investment is truly rewarding, here and hereafter.
Have few colleagues here in Dubai who is really RICH, and when i mean rich is RICH RICH BUSINESS PEOPLE and Alux’s description is Spot on!
My wife and I arrived at the point that we had everything that we ever wanted. Now all we do is complain about how much it cost to insure everything.🤣
Required reading in high school, in my opinion- "The Millionaire Next Door"
I thought moving to my dream state would solve everything and make me happy.
While I do feel much happier in this state, the excitement has worn off after a couple of years. I feel something is missing now, and that is working in a industry/career that I’m proud of everyday. Something that I can leave behind one day and be proud of.
Im planning to move to my dream state as well and dont want this to happen
On #4. This is not 100% correct. Knowing a few rich people, they do want poor people to do better BUT:
As far as I'm concerned I would say that if we strive for anything that we desire, we shall get it someday. That's the way to achieve our dreams.
A poor person will spend $500 on a t-shirt trying to look rich, while an actual rich person spends $15 on a t-shirt and invests the rest.

That one thing which I thought would make a difference was getting good with girls. Later I realized it was just superficial and honestly superfluous.
That’s actually a really valuable skill, just replace girls with the feminine side of everything, including money.
That’s pretty much what I do and it has brought me tremendous value.
Based on this logic, people who own and drive a Rolls Royce are broke

Love this video as usual. I haven’t watched one in a while. Thank you.
