ive been using this example for over 2 and a half years now.
ive replaced faucets in all kinds of places! houses, RVs, apartments... hell, i had one lady build an entire room for a sink area just so i could install this faucet!
but it seems that no matter how many faucets ive changed out, i can never replace the faucet of love that was my wife who left me after she subscribed to your channel... the last thing i remember her telling me as she packed up her belongings and our 3 children was "im leaving you for a real DIY man." and then slammed the door so hard it cracked the walls on either side of the door frame.
good thing im ALSO subscribed to your channel.
ill be on the look out for more drywall repair videos now.

Besides the removal of the bolt nut, was probably 45 minutes! The other three hours was struggling with the corroded nut (older setup than this, so it was a big metal thing around the whole setup). For those who get in the same situation: wd40 and then leave overnight. In the morning I was able to finally loosen it the rest of the way! Hope that saves someone hours in a cramped hopeless effort to unscrew a corroded bolt!

UPDATE: 2 hours later, I'm done. Thanks. Took me a little longer, as my old faucet assembly wasn't quite the same as the one you showed; there was some corrosion, as well as a couple of other problems, thus I had to improvise, nonetheless, the new one went on smoothly and your general instructions for a non-plummer for removal were great. Thanks again. God bless.

Just replaced my faucet with a new one I got off amazon. I also purchased a "telescoping basin wrench" as the set screw that was previously on the old faucet was very hard to reach and tightly bound to the faucet. Very challenging to remove, and required some WD 40 to loosen it up, but the instructions in this video still applied. Thank you for the detailed yet concise video!

I've been putting off a kitchen faucet replacement for longer than I'd like to admit because I was too intimidated to start the project. But the old faucet started to literally fall apart this past week, so my hand was forced lol. I watched this video and felt confident that I could actually do something like this by myself. The removal of my old faucet was the hard part (took about 90 mins of struggling with old parts and a tiny workspace), but I flew through the installation of the new faucet using this video as a supplement to the written instructions. It took about 30-40 minutes to install -- a walk in the park! Thank you for this wonderful video!

Thank you SO much for this video! I needed to replace my kitchen faucet, but other instructional videos made it seem too complicated for my beginner-level DIY skills. After watching yours through, I built up enough confidence to give it a try. So glad I did! The hardest part was actually disconnecting the old weight, but even with struggling with a few of the old parts, I installed my new faucet all by myself in under an hour! :D You just saved me about $300 in plumbing fees, and built up my knowledge and confidence. To anyone considering trying this yourself, I think you should! Just make sure you're limber enough to get up under the sink. ;)

New faucets are nicely engineered and east to install. Getting the old one out can be a problem though, if it's been in there for a while. Dealing with corrosion, lime buildup, and rusted or damaged threads complicates the removal, especially when working in a confined space with a garbage disposal unit in the way.

Love this faucet! I've been using it for a day now after installing it myself (no professional experience, casual DIYer. Took about 2 hours in total, from removing the old faucet to fully up and running with the Moen 7594EC).
Installation was very easy and straight forward for even a novice, as long as your follow the [very easy to read] step-by-step instructions. Came with everything needed, including batteries for the power supply (AC power supply sold separately).
I only have experience with a much cheaper bathroom touchless faucet and I must say the Moen 7594EC kitchen faucet is far, far superior! I guess you get what you pay for. It's a quality unit and the motion detector is far superior to my other one. Momentary activation comes on easily without having to "play around" with the sensor to find were it'll activate, and it stays on long enough momentarily to keep a constant stream when you need it, and shuts off promptly afterwards. In comparison, my bathroom (non Moen) faucet is just a headache to use sometimes. The motion detection is very off and on (no pun intended), not really staying on long enough to be useful. To get it to stay on longer (a feature), is very cumbersome. On the Moen 7594EC, there's also a second sensor on top of the unit that turns on a steady stream for when you need it. It does turn off automatically again though, after a very extended period of time (safety feature in case of inadvertent activation).
Really looking forward to using this unit for some time to come. The added benefits of hands free are numerous, suffice to say at the very least, you won't get handles contaminated with bacteria after handling raw food, for example!
I highly recommend the Moen 7594EC, from ease of installation to the practicality and performance of the product! amzn.to/3Kurz0s

My old faucet was so old I still had separate supply lines. This new moen is so much easier. I had memories of having to thread two separate connections.

This video was sooo helpful! Thanks for all your videos, I remember watching the first one of yours way back when you teaching us how to run cables behind the wall. Now that I am a homeowner I will be watching a ton more I am sure.

It’s easy to change a new faucet. Looks like the one you took out was barely used. Warn people about that!!!!! You explained it well. Thanks

Great video. Exactly what I did. Didn’t come your video until after ai had done the installation. Instructions that came replacement was a bit vague but I managed to get it done somehow. Had a leaking quick connect from the previous Moen faucet. Problem solved with swap out faucet. Could have mentioned that Moen has a lifetime warranty policy where they sent me the replacement as part of that policy. Great customer service. No hassle.
