Good evening everyone! Thank you for joining me for this week’s recipe video. I’ll be down in the comments for a while :) come and say Hello! Consider subscribing if you’re new…and give the video a wee like please :)
Little tip for the brussels: placing them cut side down on the cooking surface will get the best caramelization/flavor. It's a little fussier but it makes a difference! Very cool air fryer to be able to fit all that in one go, but in my little kitchen it would take up too much valuable counter space. Will have to try that stuffed chicken sometime too, very nice presentation
This all looks quite impressive. I love my air fryer and use it every day for tea. I love how you did the chicken balls in a cup. Great idea. I have never roasted brussels sprouts in an air fryer before, must give it a go.
This is the air fryer I’m hoping to buy. Another channel I follow cooked a large leg of lamb, potatoes, other veg and Yorkshire puddings all in an hour. Amazing!
That dinner looks so nice I've seen this cosori air fryer being demonstrated on you tube by a few people that I watch , but not seen a Xmas dinner being cooked in 1!!, love the way you did the turkey moulding it into the cups with the stuffing, great idea & quite quirky I thought my air fryer is small so.i woukd nit be able to do this but this is the air fryer I want when mine conks out, which hopefully won't be long!! Habe had mine 4 years but its quite a basic 1, obviously air fryers have come on a lot In 4 years. So I want an all singing/ dancing 1!! Good video Cheryl
Hi, what a great video. Im Scottish but living in Paris, so I love watching your videos to get dinner ideas and receipes that remind me of home, so thank you. Could you maybe do a video or send me your receipe for the stuffing. Thanks again, keep up the good work
Cheryl! That looks amazing and some really good ideas, that could be used across a multitude of recipes. Especially love the chicken parcels idea! Thanks for sharing! 🙂😋😎❤
Wow. Funny enough, it reminds me of a cooking show guy here in the states that once made a whole Christmas dinner in the engine bay of a car whilst driving around! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Cheers, and ATB!
Thank you for uploading this. We’re thinking about getting an air fryer and found your review and demonstration very helpful and informative. The end result looked delicious.
Any excuse to have an early Christmas Dinner, eh? 😜 An hour of cooking is a game changer, instead of a few hours and a few ovens on the go! Fantastic video, Cheryl. I'm not traditional at all when it comes to the meat choice. A Christmas Duck is delicious with roasters, yorkshires etc etc. 😋
Hi Cheryl, it’s only Me , I was on RUclips anyway and your notification be flashed up and you know what? I’m like. I absolutely love your channel - Christmas dinner in an air fryer in one hour that is absolutely brilliant, it looks really really tasty - is there any chance at all that you could do a recipe for peppermint creams ~ I hope you’re managing to stay warm and cosy. I live in Surrey down south and I went out shopping with the psychologist and it was only 1° - so was cold was understatement. We had three hours out but only lasted an hour and half ~ I hope you have a lovely Friday and a great weekend ~ sending lots of love and hugs as always ~ Xxx Xxx
As kids, my generation didn’t like parsnip - only because our mother insisted on boiling every single element of the traditional Sunday dinner - even the meat! “I prefer it boiled” was her excuse! Only in the past 20 years or so were we introduced to the delights of roast parsnips! Delicious! And pigs in blankets, too!
Quit I had never tried them until I had them in couscous as an adult, but I came across a recipe that says to cook them in milk and then puree them and add in some pecorino cheese that dish introduced me to pecorino! 😋
Lol...this resonates! As our dear ol' Mum used to boiled all veg to oblivion. Basically, as she got older she cooked to suit her: she wore false teeth😂!! You'd think it would have put us off veg: quite the contrary. Us 5 kids (now 64-81yrs!!😊) all love our veg! As for parnips: I'm with you. Boiled = 🤢. Oddly, they smell like BO to me. But roasted, well they're something else - I love them! My mum used to cook for 14 on Christmas Day. She only had a little gas cooker and a family with big appetites. I remember our dinners were always piping hot. I can only imagine it was the lovely hot gravy that made that possible.
I've been thinking about getting one of those big air fryers, but the size of it is putting me off. I only have what I would call a normal sized sink in my kitchen. That looks like it would be a real bother to clean in my sink, washing half and turning to get the other half. Does the tray come out to make it easier, or do you have to wash the whole thing, handles, and all? Onto your meal, that's a great idea with the chicken and stuffing, I am definitely trying that one out. The possibilities are endless doing it that way.
I have a very large air fryer that's probably too big to fit on my counter. I got it on sale in 2020 and had to move soon after, putting it in storage until just a couple months ago. Now I want to open the box and try it out.
Strange to find the ads plopped into the middle of the video, Cheryl. I'm used to seeing them before or after, one of the things I like about your channel. Congrats on the sponsored video!
5:45 The turkey and stuffing in the Coffee cup is a fantastic idea Cheryl stops the stuffing ending up like a hard cannonball and have you been watching Mr T by any chance 🧐
*Oooh Cheryl- this is Ultra Outstanding- you just can’t miss this one ‼️😮👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻* Can you imagine wrapping bacon around the chicken too…Phwoooaar lol And I have to say, that’s an air fryer worth having xx
Hey Cheryl, another AWSOME video - THANK YOU 🤗 ... Just a heads up, the Amazon link to the air fryer we're all now wanting to buy after salivating watching this GORGEOUS roast prep is not working 😥
I didn't know if this was an affiliate link or not BUT as a MASSIVE fan of your channel I just thought I'd point that later bit out to you. And just as another thanks ... your Scottish Snowballs recipe, while easy to make and EPICALLY YUMMY, they helped mend a fractured relationship between myself and family member - a peace offering of sorts as we don't get them here in Wales! Made them back in the day, and still do often 😉 Thank you 🙏 xXx
I've been very much looking forward to this recipe and it is absolutely fantastic! I'm adding the cup method to create stuffed parcels to my process, no idea why I never thought of it but it's brilliant. I'm looking for a replacement air fryer and this one may just suit me quite well.
Hi Cheryl sweet Friend This recipe is amazing You are amazing cook and baker Your Family is blessed God bless You all Cathy from America 🇺🇸 🙏🏻✝️☮️🇺🇸🌹🍀💐🥰🥰🫂🫂🙏🏻🦃
Yeah, not even this can inspire me to take my air fryer out of its box for the first time. Had it since Christmas. There's nothing I want to eat that I can't cook another way.
Sorry not for me. Friend has an air fryer and raves about it but the results aren’t great. Compare the roast potatoes the traditional way and compare with the air fryer version. Very different. I just prefer the old way. Like cooking the Christmas pudding in a steamer or the microwave. Convenience over flavour.
Who would have believed - some things are better cooked using different methods to others. I've been saying this for years, but there are 2 kinds of people - those who think that air fryers are overrated, and those who've actually used one for a couple of weeks.
I roast potatoes in my air fryer and there is no difference in taste, so don’t know what your friend does with hers. It’s great when only cooking for two saves time and keeps energy costs down.😊
@@theritchie2173 that’s a very demeaning response. You seems to assume I haven’t. Which would be wrong, we were away in holiday so yes I have for several weeks. Don’t demean others opinions that’s rude.
@@megfreeth4377thank you for expressing your opinion in a pleasant way. We all have different perspectives but put downs to those who think differently is so unpleasant.
