This is the last straw, Disney! As a dinosaur lover, Dinoland was not only my favorite land, but the main reason I went to WDW in the first place. Without it, i have no desire to ever visit again.
It's a sad day, but honestly it's time for Animal Kingdom to see some love especially for kids. Indiana Jones is a great ride over at Disneyland, hopefully they do make it unique for Animal Kingdom and don't just clone the ride.
I agree!! It’s sad to see it go but Indiana Jones would be so cool!! Is it the exact same ride as Dinosaur in Disneyland? I’ve sadly never been on that ride!
Here's what Disney should be doing for Disney's Animal Kingdom: 1) They should replace the Dino-Rama section of Dinoland USA with attractions themed to the Ice Age Franchise 2) They should be utilizing the free area of land located between Asia & Rafiki's Planet Watch for South America 3) They should have a Zootopia attraction in Rafiki's Planet Watch instead of replacing It's Tough To Be A Bug 4) If they don't follow through with #1 & #2, then they should utilize the free area of land located between Asia & Rafiki's Planet Watch for a new Prehistoric/Extinct-Themed Land
Instead of Ice Age, I think Dino-Rama should be transformed into an indoor attraction. It could be an indoor entertainment center, with an indoor version of Triceratops Spin, arcade games, and an animatronic dinosaur band. Or, if Disney still owned Power Rangers, I'd want the area themed after Dino Thunder.
