I hope I can ride Dinosaur one more time before it gets rethemed. I would be down with it being changed to another Indiana Jones. The Disneyland ride is one of my absolute favorites
The Dinosaur ride is the same ride as the Indiana Jones one in California, so it makes sense to re-service and hopefully rennovate. It's still fun but no one knows what the movie Dinosaur even is, and the experience certainly shows its age after almost 24 years.
@@xBloodxFangx The point was that the number of people in that demographic are such a superminority that it makes no business sense for them to keep that theme. I saw it in theatres but it's a single movie property with no cultural relevance today
I like to think of a lot of this park as a companion to and completion of some of what’s missing from World Showcase (as Epcot Notoriously lacks any participation from Africa as well as most of Asia)…(While I do miss any mention of Australia/Oceania, I guess the new Moana will have to serve as a token gesture for the time being!)
Disney should pour out the money to completely fix the infrastructure of Expedition Everest so that the giant Yeti animattronic (truly the coolest animattronic I've ever seen) can come to beautiful, terrifying, awesome life again
They have talked about it before and how the structure of the ride will not allow them to just remove and fix the yeti, as it will completely destroy the coasters foundation. So, it would be either tear down the entire coaster or leave the yeti static. It's just too heavy and to set into the foundation making up the structure of the ride.

It was a late '90s decision to go with dinosaurs instead of mythical creatures in order to capitalise on the kids dino craze stemming from The Land Before Time and Jurassic Park. The "Dinosaur" ride was the anchor attraction based on a super production-heavy film of the same name by Disney, but it didn't have the cultural impact of those earlier dinosaur movies. The area of the park was left as a low-effort kid zone almost entirely unchanged for 20 years.
@@Troopertroll - Dinoland USA should have been demolished and rethemed years ago. It is a large reason Animal Kingdom’s attendance has tanked. After the Tropical Americas is built, Disney needs to continue adding more rides and attractions to the park. The lack of a dark ride themed to “The Lion King”, is one of the most mind-boggling decisions Disney has ever made.
As much as I want to go and see the yeti coaster, paying for the whole park for only one really good ride (in my eyes) isn't worth it, looks like I'll only go on the Expedition Everest if i get the hopper pass

Yeah I was thinking they may retheme Dino land USA to Oceania, which would have fitted well with the finding nemo show.

The whole of Avatar land glows in the dark at night including the walkways
I just wish they kept the park open for this. Seems to be closing at 6 all summer.
