The Syngonium Neon is a fantastic houseplant for anyone who wants to add a splash of color to their home decor.
This amazing Syngonium has pink foliage that leaves nobody indifferent to it.
    general specifics about this plant:
Scientific name: Syngonium podophyllum ‘Neon Robusta’
Native habitat: native to rainforests of America and Mexico
    Growth rate: slow grower
Size: 3-6 feet (0.9-1.8 cm) tall, and 1-2 feet (30-60 cm) wide
Type: perennial, but can be grown as an annual as well
Toxicity: mildly toxic to humans and pets
This is just the basic information about the Syngonium Neon, and there is so much more that you need to know before planting one in your indoor garden.
    *Lighting*
this plant will thrive in south-west- or east-facing rooms
“Try to keep it a few feet away from the window(s), and see how it does, then move it closer if you see it thriving at that distance” -PlantSavvy 😉🪴
This pink Syngonium thrives best in medium to bright indirect light conditions. It can tolerate low-light levels, but the vivid pink color will fade if the plant is kept in full shade, and your plant is likely to become leggy if it doesn’t get enough light.
For the best variegation, keep this plant in indirect sunlight because the direct sun can cause severe sunburn and damage the entire plant.
This plant needs plenty of sunlight, but if the alternative to shade is direct sunlight, it’s better that you keep it in the shade.
    *Plant Care*
The Syngonium Neon is a low-maintenance Syngonium plant that doesn’t mind if you neglect it.
However, if you want to create a perfect environment for this plant, you need to place it in a bright spot, give it some water, and ensure that the soil is well-draining.
    *Watering*
The Syngonium Neon is a tropical plant, and it loves when you give it plenty of water. However, you shouldn’t drown it in water because that will lead to root rot.
Our general rule is to fix a watering schedule based on your plant’s needs. We always irrigate the plant at the soil level when the first few inches of the soil feel dry to the touch.
A good piece of advice is to plant the Syngonium in a pot with drainage holes so that your plant doesn’t sit in water all day long.
    *Repotting*
Syngoniums aren’t speedy growers, but they need to be repotted from time to time, so they don’t become rootbound.
However, you won’t have to repot them more than once in two years, or you can do so only when you find an adorable hanging basket.

I don’t think syngoniums in general are easy plants. I’ve grown the common green one for years, and it never gets very big, it hates my indoor environment. I put it outside in dappled shade in the summer and it does great….bring it in in the fall and then watch it suffer all winter. Could be my lower light conditions. Just got some more growlights, finally, so hoping that will help. I also have two pink varieties and a Red Arrow now, all three under small growlights, and they are doing good.

I’ve had the common green variety for years, I wouldn’t say it’s flourished, it should be huge for the age it is, but every winter it dies back a lot. It doesn’t like my darker house and it does really bad if I leave it dry for more than a few days. Now I have Pink Perfection, an unknown pink, and Red Arrow. They are doing beautifully under growlights, but I’m considering repotting this week into plastic orchid pots into an aroid mix I got from repotme. It’s a fast draining mix with no peat, and it dries out pretty fast so I’ll have to water more, but with this soil and the orchid style pots, I can do that easily and not have to worry about root rot.
I’m wondering if my unlabeled pink is the same as yours, Neon. Either that or Pink Allusion. The little casings that the leaves are born out of on mine are pink, looks like they are on yours as well. They are not pink on my Pink Perfection.

Thanks so much for sharing this with me🙏
(I’m NO expert at all 😂) but I’d keep an eye on the distance of your plants where they are located at the sun light exposure and making sure the soil isn’t too dry after the 7th day without watering, water it if needed.
I water mine every 7 days, and it works well for me in this Florida climate.
Also I’ve noticed some of my Pink Neon leaves, are barely maintaining its pink hue in the West-facing window.
On the other hand the propagation In water is still keeping the bright pink color.
It’s a lot of factors that could cause this, but as long as it’s happy and healthy just keep up the good work plant fam 🙏🙌🌿🚿🫙🪴
