lol thanks so much plant fam🙏 I’m happy I got my hands on it! It’s one of the largest plants I’ve seen at the nursery, with so much growth with aerial roots that can strangle a wooden plank 😂

Oh this big baby will get natural sunlight outside 😁. I’ve propagated it in water inside though, with many different sized cuttings. Propagation Nation!! 🌿🫙🚰

Thank you so much for the comment and I’m grateful to give you a tip (I’m no expert by any means lol) I would have to see the plant to give a guess at what type it would be. but if you want to prune it back, locate the nodes (pimples/bumps-like along the stems, where new roots will grow will start) Put the cutting with nodes, in water 🌿🚰 and under a light source to try and start a propagation of a new plant growing from the mother plant 🪴

@Plantsavvy since you have the space, go for those huge blue green hosta plants. Will be so big the leaves will cover the bricks; only seeing the beautiful plants.

Nice!! And you already have some good growth with yours. The south facing window seems to be an ideal spot for those. I have mine outside in the east and look forward to giving you an update on the growth 🤞🙏

😂😂🙌the weather in FL is always blowing my mind for sure! Heavy Storms and dark clouds for a few hours⛈️☔️ then right back to the sun shinning summer weather 🌅🌞☀️🕶️ 🙃🤣

@Plantsavvy it is the greenhouse effect, which is what I pattern my misting after. Lots of grow lights with an early morning shower. In Florida, the rain comes...run from beach for cover for 10 minutes. Then back to the beach ⛱️

You should indeed get one plant fam! They’re slow growing in water propagation but I’ve seen VERY good growth while having the scindapsus in soil growing outside with natural east facing light 🙏🙌🪴🌿 I appreciate you plant fam!

That’s a great question plant fam! Currently it’s still to be determined as I’m a week(ish) into the water prop with the tomato cuttings in water 😆 I’ll be sure to give you an update as soon as I see root growth. But one thing I’ve seen and researched, is putting natural honey 🍯 on the end of the cutting to help prevent mold growth while propagating it in water. I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes with the experiment as well with honey, stay tuned plant fam 🙌🙏

@@Plantsavvy cuttings the week before your video and all of my roots have rotted. I don't have one successful propagation out of the 10 or so I tried. I'm really interested to see how yours went
