I have a CTX3030, NICE MACHINE but heavy! My other detector is a Garrett Ace 250. Never thought I could buy the CTX3030 but sometimes your lucky....Sold my house quit good that was my luck.

@@BeepingMad it's similar on land in that you learn to read the land, the only difference really is the finds stay put unlike the beach where finds get moved around. With Inland searching research of sites is also a great help like old maps ect to find old roads or missing buildings of the past. I like detecting old footpaths as it's a guarantee of finds due to years of use. Harder digging tho! 👍

stillair1 the nel tornado coil beats the standard hands down. The best match is the detech accelorator coil... Or the nel Hunter coil. I am just giving the tornado another chance. But it works great on the ace 200. If you are buying a new coil definitely the detech accelorator.

Hi Chris welcome to the hobby. What sort of beach are you going to be detecting? Wet sand or pebbles. The best tip I can give you is learn coin id numbers. It will help you sort through bottle tops and pull rings. Please let me know how you get on. If you need any help just give me a shout... Geoff

Hi Douglas thanks for watching, if you are in the Worthing area you will find medieval stuff from time to time. I prefer beach detecting because there is no club politics. You just go to the beach and do your thing. Just make sure you fill your holes and do good housekeeping. Other than that I dig land very occasionally, to be honest I love the beach
Yes definitely, the numbers on the ace 200 are a little bit more bouncy so you have to more or less dig everything. But in a way that is not a bad thing because you will not miss much.
Nice tip and finds. Haven’t been on the beaches for a bit, too much sand deposited on them but looking forward to giving them a go again. Will be looking for these erosion and horse shoes shapes. Great stuff mate. HH Tony

U no your onions, with good finds, I'm new to the at pro, can u give me your settings for beach and land,thanks enjoyed the video, and seeing u had the beach to your self.
with the at pro I have the iron audio on, I notch out 53 ring pulls. but it does mean I will miss 10p's. that is on the pebbles. on the hard pack dig everything... hope this helps

Hello thanks for watching, I am from Folkestone originally. For all around beach detecting you should get a minelab equinox 600. It will do wet sand no problem. But if you are only going to do pebbles a ace 400. I would recommend getting the minelab equinox.
@@darrens3420 the ace 400 will do the pebbles and fields. But the nox is the best all round detector. You can get out on the sands with the ace 400. It will just about do the job. You will be better of getting a nox

MUJHOOL thanks for subscribing all I do is drag the blade of the shovel behind me. It leaves a score in the sand. Ovously you can not do that on the pebbles. But it saves time on the sand not going over the same place over and over.

Hi Tom the equinox is the better out of the two.if you are detecting wet sands and pebbles you must try to get a good ground balance. The rocks are full of minerals that can cause interference. Next you could have your sensitivity too high try about 22ish use 5 tones only and on the pebbles try park 1 and so on. Put a very little threshold noise in the background so you can hear the faint whispers and this will help you find thin gold chains, it will also help tell the difference between bottle tops and pound coins. You can even use park one on the wet sand. One more thing drag your spade behind you so you can see where you have been and it also keeps the spade out of the way from the coil. Get decent headphones, I use waterproof ones on land, they are really loud. Hope this helps...

Hy Dylan on don't buy a cheep Detector. A goof Detector to start up will be a garrett ace 400 or the x5 watch the reviews by addicted to bleeps. Littlehampton beach would be a great place to start. It has parking, cafes, and reason for people to have money on them.

Hi I would recommend the minelab equinox 600 because it does it all. Wet sand and pebbles. If your budget is tight I would recommend the Garrett ace 400. The ace 400 in my opinion is the best coin shooting detector on the pebbles. It will work on the wet sand but in limited form. If you can the equinox 600. I had a simplex once and found it to be not any good for coin shooting. My beaches are dig by numbers because if the amount of pull rings and bottle tops. You have to be able to I'd a target before you dig, even more so as we are turning into a cashless society. Hope this helps.

Lol I don't think you can, I was trying to make the point of change from notes being dropped. I should have said £7.50 with 2.50 change. Just nervous on camera
That will definitely help keeping the ID numbers more stable. The ace machines are great. You should find some good stuff with it. I have given my ace 400 to a friend. I use my wife's evrey now and again. In fact I might go out this weekend with it. Thank you for watching.

ground balance your machine in a clean spot, when on pebbles then rebalance on the sand and again on wet sand

What would you recommend as a good starter detector, id be mostly doing this on beaches like yourself.

Hi I would recommend the minelab equinox 600 because it does it all. Wet sand and pebbles. If your budget is tight I would recommend the Garrett ace 400. The ace 400 in my opinion is the best coin shooting detector on the pebbles. It will work on the wet sand but in limited form. If you can the equinox 600. I had a simplex once and found it to be not any good for coin shooting. My beaches are dig by numbers because if the amount of pull rings and bottle tops. You have to be able to I'd a target before you dig, even more so as we are turning into a cashless society. Hope this helps.

That will definitely help keeping the ID numbers more stable. The ace machines are great. You should find some good stuff with it. I have given my ace 400 to a friend. I use my wife's evrey now and again. In fact I might go out this weekend with it. Thank you for watching.
