I am older then you guys and my parents were major Beatles fans. I was pretty much raised by the Beatles as my mom would sit me in front of the stereo every day and play Beatles albums then give me the Sgt. Peppers cover or Beatles illustrated book to look at and it would keep me entertained for hours. I could write about them for pages but I will spare you that and just say it is cool to see younger people who get it too. All of you have been pretty much spot on. In short, astounded with what they accomplished in under a decade and now over 50 years later still so popular and still blowing us away. And yes, I too became a musician, Pretty sure they had a major influence but still on my best day could not write their worst song.
Such a Wonderful insightful Message…Good for your MOM…She introduced you to Amazing Music…I Bet she is The Duchess of Cool Land for Ya ;] GOD BLESS you & Give your MOM a BIG HUGG ;]
I Call Your Name is the first appearance of Georges brand new Rickenbacker 360-12. Nice job lads. I enjoyed your conversation PJ's epic Get Back doc, Cheers, RNB
I was surprised seeing John's awesome contribution to Get Back, solo and riff, and rooftop recording. Such a fluid original song in spite of its origins as a shuffle.
He was apparently really self-conscious about his lead playing, so he didn't do it very often, but man, I wish he did! He was a more creative lead player than he gave himself credit for.
your thoughts are really interesting, but it was quite painful listening to it while driving. I had to decide between understanding 8bit and getting permanent hearing damage from the guitar.
Great show....Cheers!

Paul wrote Yesterday at 22. I try to let that sink in but it just doesn't. But then again at any age so few can write like that.
the small instrument was a stylophone - used to great effect in Space Oddity by David Bowie
I have listened to a lot of reviews of Get Back. This is the best. You go straight to the heart of the matter,
The “then there were two moment” was almost prophetic. In a traditional narrative it would have been some haunting foreshadowing.
Totally! You honestly couldn't have written more on-the-nose conversations than some of the stuff in this, knowing what we know now, haha.
A lot of Paul's music post Beatles is VERY DATED. But the Beatles isn't dated at all.
If you guys had a podcast I would totally watch it

Cool review
How about Paul saying "50 years from now people will say the Beatles broke up because Yoko sat on an amp." Great discussion

Ha, yeah, it was a sort of impromptu livestream so there were some audio balance issues I definitely would have fixed otherwise.
@@Jalopes yeah thought so :D
