holy shit its true, I had the audio sampling rate set to high for a long while and after setting it to the default value my pc's running smoothly. it ain't the best but it ain't the worst either soo I was surprised to see that I have really bad performance just on games that run on the source engine alone.
yes but credit goes to a youtuber called catlarious , this was an old trick he showed in 2020 , but thanks to him im able to re-show u those steps again, happy to help you : )
hey bruv, can you please tell me what disabling overclocking does?
the only main reason why overclocking ur gpu is good....is for getting better performance in ur game...like more FPS in game
but overclocking also has its disadvantages
like fps drops....it results in crashes...reduces the gpu lifespan...increased power consumption and heat
and disabling overclocking can fix these issues which i mentioned above
mate and idk why but my pc just locks itself when i play a high graphics game.. do u have a solution to it..?
maybe ur pc might not be compatible to play that high graphic game

the second game my game crashes or monitor goes to sleep
Update Graphics Drivers
Verify Game Files
Disable Overclocking
Check Temperatures
Reinstall CS:GO
Contact Faceit Support
these are some steps to fix ur csgo crash
if u get fps drop in ur game just follow this video it will 100% fix it

@@unknownforever4745 I've done all these things except Reinstall Csgo and pc didn't go to sleep but just crashed and said fatal error loading vertex shader custom weapon vs30
