Prefiring and crosshair placement are one of the most important aspects of aiming in my opinion, raw aim and spray control are super important but they aren’t going to get you instant frags that can turn the 5v5 into a 5v4 and swing the round heavily in your favour at the start

Well I’m here to say fuck your teammates, you’re all worth more than any game you play. Redeem yourself by making a good meal and getting some sleep.

I have been playing the CS series for over 15 years now, and was semi competitive for a while in the late 2010s on CS:GO. Let's just say that many things mentioned in the video took me 5-10 years before completely understanding. This is an excellent guide for anyone that's trying to get better at a beginner-intermediate level. Kudos to you mate, a happy family, a college degree and a faceit level 10 basically starting from 0 is a feat that's respectable to anyone.
Hey Ryder, just wanted to check in. I’ve been doing your 1000 aim botz routine + 45 min - 1 hour of dming and I’ve since went from 1530 elo to 1833!. Hit level 9 for the first time in my cs career! I’ll be honest my arm hurts from doing it at first but it’s getting a bit better. I’ve been able to actually do well in level 9-10 lobbies due to playing with my higher level friends too. It’s crazy how well I’m improving and they’re surprised too because prior to that I was stuck and could barely put up any good score boards. Thanks for the advice and routine!

Honestly the best thing I did for my cs gameplay was going back to basics, turned on follow recoil and and crosshair bloom so I could see exactly where I was messing up in fights, started reviewing my matches and yeah spending time in deathmatches. The frantic nature of DM I found helped me keep my cool in more intense moments
As a fellow level 10, this is going to be my go-to video recommendation when friends want to get into CS or for friends who've been playing for a while and are struggling to improve. Excellent breakdown of the core skills needed, with good actionable steps on how to improve on them without going too deep into the weeds. Nice guide. I'm stuck between ~5-8k and very inconsistent, I could top frag one game but then have only 5 kills the next. I need to watch my demo's and adjust the radar as I didn't know you could see the entire map!
The best way to get out that level is focus on your crosshair placement no one in those elos has decent crossshair placement so you can get easy kills by simply not having your crosshair on the floor
Great video, while I am only average at the game it's interesting to see how such little things can lead to improvement. I started around 2014 maybe 2013 gaining 1.5k hours on a macbook air. At that time I was pretty conpetitive and often played long into the nights gaining level 5 on faceit. But because I neglected a lot of things I took a step back for several years. Around 2021 is when I decided to return and by 2023 I noticed a sizeable improvement. While I dont play Faceit or matchmaking that much anymore, how I play and my general performance in the game has improved. Right now im still getting my life settled so I am still trying to return to a competitve level.
Not looking for a guide clicked by curiosity but the true achievement here is being able to invest that much in cs while having an actual life u got my respect for that
This might be really small but the point you make at the beginning of the video about balancing your life and improving instead of just going all in on a video game is super refreshing.

Just play 1230 games in 7 months lol thats a lot of game time, and doesn't even count all the DM hours, demo review, aimbotz... this sounds like 6-8+ hours of cs a day
I would have really long gaming sessions on the weekend where I have most of my time. But I would always try to get a few games in on the weekdays if I could. I did sacrifice sleep some nights in order to take care of my responsibilities. Hopefully you like the video bro, thanks for watching.
Not a whole lot for me to learn but great video nontheless. The best part about the advice given- the skill you accumulate doesnt go away. Yes, to play in your top condition, you'll have to warm up but you will never go back to being bad once you've become good, if you know what I mean. I poured thousands of hours into the game during my university days and havent been playing much over the last few years. When cs2 came out i went right back and it took me no time to get back to the level i used to be at.
Movement, FFA, Demos, Aimbotz, already knew everything, never applied anyone, might give it a shot after seeing he real results of it. Great video, keep posting!
This is so real, me personally I see a lot of fluctuations on my elo whenever there’s something else on my mind. Either work ou personal stuff that doesn’t allow me to concentrate properly for a week or so, my elo fluctuates from 7 to 10 on faceit and 10k~20k on premiere

Great video, while I am only average at the game it's interesting to see how such little things can lead to improvement. I started around 2014 maybe 2013 gaining 1.5k hours on a macbook air. At that time I was pretty conpetitive and often played long into the nights gaining level 5 on faceit. But because I neglected a lot of things I took a step back for several years. Around 2021 is when I decided to return and by 2023 I noticed a sizeable improvement. While I dont play Faceit or matchmaking that much anymore, how I play and my general performance in the game has improved. Right now im still getting my life settled so I am still trying to return to a competitve level.

Just play 1230 games in 7 months lol thats a lot of game time, and doesn't even count all the DM hours, demo review, aimbotz... this sounds like 6-8+ hours of cs a day
I would have really long gaming sessions on the weekend where I have most of my time. But I would always try to get a few games in on the weekdays if I could. I did sacrifice sleep some nights in order to take care of my responsibilities. Hopefully you like the video bro, thanks for watching.

Not a whole lot for me to learn but great video nontheless. The best part about the advice given- the skill you accumulate doesnt go away. Yes, to play in your top condition, you'll have to warm up but you will never go back to being bad once you've become good, if you know what I mean.
I poured thousands of hours into the game during my university days and havent been playing much over the last few years. When cs2 came out i went right back and it took me no time to get back to the level i used to be at.
Movement, FFA, Demos, Aimbotz, already knew everything, never applied anyone, might give it a shot after seeing he real results of it. Great video, keep posting!

This is so real, me personally I see a lot of fluctuations on my elo whenever there’s something else on my mind. Either work ou personal stuff that doesn’t allow me to concentrate properly for a week or so, my elo fluctuates from 7 to 10 on faceit and 10k~20k on premiere
