    Important note tor DMing: Do not under any circumstances take your K/D, kill streaks, any performance indicators seriously. DMing should be use purely for working on aim fundamentals, if you find yourself getting frustrated because you're not hitting your shots or are getting spawn killed constantly, take a break.
    Remember, DMing is not indicative of your future game performance. You can outfrag an entire server for an hour and immediately bottom frag your next 3 matches.

    you could also watch demos of a similarly ranked players or opponents in your games and act like you're the coach, calling out the good plays and mistakes
    if it comes to sensitivity the absolute golden value is the one that allows you to do a 360 rotation, but what's interesting that you will always be more consistent on lower sensitivity especially if you're using a speed mousepad and fast skates or just a glass mousepad and you don't have good mouse control(the dpi also matters with high dpi there will be more steps than with low one, you can see that by setting dpi to 400 and cs sensitivity to something like 5)
    that's because on higher sensitivity the little movements matter more and that can dictate if you will get a headshot or miss your shot entirely, that's why good aimers with better mouse control benefit more from less friction between the mouse and the mousepad
    so if you feel like you're missing your shots you could lower the sensitivity but keep in mind that you are bottlenecking yourself if you get shot from the back

    • @iCantEditBro
      @iCantEditBro 3 месяца назад

      yeah I was a 400dpi 1.4 god when I was younger but having to do 2 full swipes for a 180 is rough on your shoulder. I mean I still did and could make those frags but man it will cause fatigue if you play multiple matches in a row.

    Great advice! I personally would even put communication as a higher priority to learn around level 3-4 so that people can at least call "Location > Number of Enemies > Damage/Action" (i.e. pushing, walking, ran back etc.) Not necessarily to do strats, but teammates are much more helpful if they tell me when they have contact (as long as it's simple and accurate, not "THEY'RE ALL HERE HELP" when it was 1 dude). My early climb would've been a lot easier if more people at least told me what the enemies are doing in their deathcam haha. Another banger video with concentrated information 👍

    • @Ryderdie1
      @Ryderdie1  3 месяца назад +1

      One thing I should have also mentioned is map awareness. In much lower ranks and solo queue in general, you can’t count on your teammates to communicate anything really. Having good map awareness really helps.

    I got back to CS after six months and have been kinda stuck. Haven’t played faceit yet since Im barely 5.5k prem. Ive been playing DMs almost every day for the past 3 months. Some days I dont. I practice my recoil, i do pre fire maps and sometimes Kovaaks. My aim just keeps getting worse and worse statistically according to Leetify. My friends are outperforming me now with way less experience and no practice at all. Recently got into a scrim server with people of all skill levels. I would be so inconsistent whenever I played with my friends but would feel more consistent when I play with a random 5 stack in one of those scrims. They had better coms, util, and just general game sense. Not sure if my performance is tied to my team but it just feels like I cant improve my aim. Has anyone experienced this?

You make the game look so effortless sometimes. Is there a way for me to get out of my level 7-8? I peaked at 1725 but then dropped down to 1530. It really sucks…
    Everytime I drop down to 1500 it starts getting in my head because I hate being 7 or below. Do you have any advice for me? I’ve been stuck 7-8 between the elo for the past 8 months since picking up the game again…

    Great video, just one small nitpick: it's actually perfectly fine to change your sensitivity. It won't mess with muscle memory (which doesn't really exist in the way people think) and practicing on higher sens can actually be helpful for e.g smoothness. Voltaic has an article that goes into more depth, I think it's called "Why muscle memory is seen as a meme in the aiming community" or something like that. Anyway, keep up the good work, your videos are so useful.

    Does it matter to like play these practice maps or just waste your time just playing hoping that you'll improve?
    I have like 130 hours in this game for some reason and I'm only playing dust 2 as of now.
    I have no problems with my hardware and peripherals but generally I have a problem on mindset due to every matchmaking game that I play I don't achieve a rank that I want even tho I played that specific game maybe like 3-4 yrs+.
    I like this game really but the elo hell scares me.I experienced playing on faceit after like a good 80hrs of playtime and yeah it's not fun.Luckily faceit tries to mute any type of vulgar language but after that I just quitted faceit after like 2 games and spammed dust 2 eversince since it's a simple map.
    It's not like I'm not trying to improve sometimes I try to watch some lineups and try to implement them.
    NVM I'm just cooked.

      since you're new you should really get down mechanics. and most importantly dont play mm, ik its easier but you can only improve if your going against better people than you. Hope this helps

      When you talk about mm are you talking about Prime MM? I don't even have prime I'm literally playing with random chinese players(I'm on SEA server).

      Yeah the advantages of face it really is you get to deal with people that speak English the disadvantage is you'll get flamed if you're ass,I thought my aim will help me when I first played there xd.IDK why face it put me to Lvl.3 instead of lvl.1 but is it ok to be free there?(I'm not blessed with a good allowance :D )

    hey Ryder i was wondering if you only play faceit over comp/premier or is it more 80/20?

      I would say it’s more 95 Faceit / 5 Premier.
      I have about 1,400 games played on Faceit and maybe 80ish played on Premier.
