I've got Kenny Senior's autograph. It says Dear (my name),"nearly broke her back'. Best Wishes, Archie Kelly 😂
dave spikey signed my dvds "catch the moon!"🤣
@@DaveBeatz haha yesss! 🤣
Remember the Car Share "dogging" clip - Kenny is the guy with the dog who they stop to ask about dogging. He just comes out with utter bull shit in Phoenix Nights, its hilarious.
The "Shroud of Turin"/Lisa Stansfield joke is one of the funniest things I've heard in any sitcom. Genius writing
For more pheonix nights, before watching 'paddy and Max' give 'That Peter Kay thing' a go for the 'pheonix nights pilot' and a few semi-spin off's!
You ned to look at the outakes after this season finishes - hilarious.
King boomer 'getting' Northern British humour is everything!! How often do you see this with our American cousins!!? Pleasure to watch KB 😂😂😂
When you first started watching these, you could see you were struggling with it.
Its great to see you this far in appreciating the show for what it is. Bravo!
Still struggling 😢
PHONE SHOP is a genius comedy Ricky gervais was the script editor it's got ratty and the nonce from after life in it and Simon's dad from the inbetweeners.
'Turning Japanese' is a song about masturbation.
By The Vapors. It's based on the face a man pulls as he's trying to reach the vinegar strokes.
@@gusbert 😂😂
No it isn't that's just a myth.
@@Andy_Ross1962 Well reading the lyrics, which are pretty gross (alone with a photograph, wanting "internal" pictures of her, "No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women, No fun, no sin, no you") leads me to conclude that it is about masturbation, could be correct.
Everyone knows someone like Kenny. I know two of them. One of them once told me he had jetlag, and when I asked where he'd been, he said Ireland.
😂😂😂
He's the jay of the group.
A Tommy Two Shits. You have one, they have two.
My "Kenny" said he went fishing and reeled in a Buoy
Magnificent Seven is a classic, full of great stars of the era. It was the start of the big ensemble star cast movies such as: The Great Escape, The Longest Day, Battle of the Bulge, How the West was Won, The Dirty Dozen, It's a Mad Mad Mad World and The Great Race.
Great that you're doing this series. Can't wait until the final episode. In the Take My Breath Away bit the joke is that as the songs ends the whole crowd sing the title.
Which he ironically missed because he was singing it.😅
🎶 Walking on the moon 🎶 😂😂😂
Magnificent 7 is worth a watch
Yes,the original
Hilarious! I think you would like more Chris Morris in The Day Today, Brass Eye and Jam. Stay away from the Benidorm crowd recommendations! ❤
This programme is one of my most favourite programmes to quote. I love you you love it too!! A pound of piss and a black milkshake! 🤣
Magnificent Seven is a classic film. You should watch it.
Great film but its a Seven samurai fan fiction should start there
@@stevensmeagol6066 Yes beat me to it. Amazing how many times it happens, and not just a US thing either.
Personally think it's not down to general stupidity or lack of understanding and respect of other cultures which is often cited as the reason films are remade, but simply comes down to economics or simply flattery.
So close to the end. Please make sure you react to max and paddy after this. It leads in and the funny parts are so much more then what phoenix has. And phoenix is one of the funniest comedy’s about 😂
M and P is wank compared to Phoenix Nights.
Hey Boomer…..check out “Early Doors” another superb lesser known series here in the U.K. 👍👌🇮🇲. Ps Kenny Seniors bullshit is legendary…..every work place has a Kenny 😳😂
Loved it ,as good or bad it was for me,reminded me of me & my local in the 90's.saw the full live show last year on youtube.few changes to characters & wasn't that funny.think boomer needs to do royle family 1st to get into northern family life
The man isle.
These clubs are not night clubs, they are social clubs or working men's clubs.
My mum's family are regulars at a club near where they were brought up. My Aunty held her big birthday there. Some of the acts were actually quite good, and the drinks were unbelievably cheap! It was £1.20 for a pint of beer, £1.30 for a pint of larger. It's £5.50 in the pub I go in!
My uncle lost his eye as a kid (his brother accidentally got him in the eye with a fork around the dinner table). He's got a glass eye now. When he goes to the toilet in the club he puts his glass eye in his pint so he knows which one is his when he gets back!
A lot of companies had social clubs, our family used to go the Electricity Board club on Saturday nights, play bingo and snooker and the kids drank bottles of Coke. Basic entertainment but it was great.
My dad used to tell one about some bloke down the local that used to clear his throat and hock a big glob of plehm into his pint before leaving the table for the toilet.
He came back from the toilets one night to find a bunch more globs floating in his pint from people pissed off with him doing it!
@@seanmorris haha understandable!
The Thick of It
Deffo react to the thick of it. I have a suspicion that most of Malcolm tuckers scenes will be just one consistent beep
When they all sang the answer after the music stopped I pissed myself laughing.
It's so accurate!
I think Jerry going off the rails was because he said he wasn't supposed to drink with his pain meds but accidentally washed them down with sake and they didn't react well together. That's the scenario I always took away after seeing it anyway. Could be wrong but I think that was the intention.
Japseye🤣🤣🤣
"Walking on the Mooon!"
Great show Boomer.
Please can you react to something you've never seen before. UK comedy "Facejacker" starring now famous actor and comedian Kayan Novak.
Kayan disguises himself as eccentric characters and comedy trolls the public. You will love it. Good clip to start on might be -
"Dufrais At The Baseball Game | Facejacker " (the 8.47 minute clip) or
"Brian Babonde Takes A Painting Class | Facejacker "
Tks. I've only seen one other reactor do this show, which in my opinion is the funniest show this century, easily.
Every workplace has Kenny who’s done everything, been everywhere, knows everyone 😂😂😂😂
When they were doing the crime scene tours, the guys were all wearing tops with Phoenix spelled wrong - "Pheonix".
I like that the t shirts that the Phoenix are selling has Phoenix spelt wrong.😂
I'll name that tune in one ! 😄
I say that when my bf farts lol
If you haven't seen it,I expect it's been suggested but watch Withnail & I
The remake of the magnificent seven with Denzel Washington is definitely worth watching.
Everyone in England here knows someone like Kenny 😂😂
Where is Shere Khan??
I’m going to guess it’s not spelt like that.
@@andrewmay1299 Oh sorry, were is Shere Khan?
"Brim fill of Asha on the 45" 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, watch the Magnificent Seven, original. Great film and all star cast. Then Green Wing comedy series.
1 ball in polo, its croquet i reckon?!
You’ll need to give Max and Paddy’s road to nowhere, a watch. The two bouncers go on a road trip after leaving the Phoenix Club
The Vapours "Turning Japanese" is about the Male Orgasm!
Did anyone spot King Boomer smoking a cigar at 26:48 😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love that intro, makes me laugh every time 🤣
Not seen this since I was in school just thought the guy at the bar as Perry walks in was Lemmy.
Haha, me too for a split second.
One of the greatest westerns ever made, I cant believe you haven`t watched the magnificent seven lol, one of the greatest theme tunes too..
By the way, Ironside is a reference to the American crime drama of the same name, where the title character, a detective, was in a wheelchair. You questioned why they called him that a couple of episodes ago and I don't know if anyone explained.
i'm also a mupper in one chair Hahahaha
He featured a lot in the first season I just think you’ve caught on to the humour and his character a lot more now
I've got my stepsister with me...best joke of the whole two seasons 😂
Max and paddy’s road to nowhere has to be next you will cry at that
he is jay from the inbetweeners, there's on in every town...
Please do Max and Paddy. Plus That Peter Kay Thing, and Car Share. All 3 series are amazingly funny Peter Kay series. Also do some of his stand up tour shows as well.
They are the Magnificent Seven, is it any good? the clue's in the name.
Most of them die so not that magnificent
I think Phoenix Nights might have been inspired by 1970's Wheel Tappers And Shunters Club which was a mickey take on working men's clubs except it had actual real life comedians and singers on it. Give it a look. Ian Dee.
Vic & Bob's "The Club" from Bang Bang! It's Reeves & Mortimer - the whole thing is on here somewhere
ruclips.net/video/g7OZjgZGD1Q/видео.html
magnificent seven the best western worth a watch and the story behind the film.
I think you would like "The Magnificent Seven", It's a Hollywood re-make of the Japanese film "Seven Samurai", shifted from 16th Century Japan to 1870s Mexico.
You should rewatch these in your own time, these shows almost get better on the second watch
Did anyone else get serious deja vu at thend of this reaction?
Its all basically my childhood going to the club with me Grandad.
Glad you stuck with it and glad you are enjoying it, i have said this in the comments before if you have time watch Peter Kay's Car share I really think yourself and queen boomer will really enjoy it. I love Peter Kay and Car Share in my opinion is probably his best show. Keep up the good work boomer my son👍🏼 all the best from Slough England
I'm a cab driver and picked up den Perry one night. I said what are you doing in here Perry he said my name's ted. O well
If you get the chance you should check out Not Going Out by Lee Mack, even if you watch off camera as it’s one of the best shows.
No, it’s not.
A load of stand-up comedy type jokes and puns, shoehorned into a sitcom format, with a laughter track added. It doesn’t work in the slightest. It’s horribly outdated.
Brilliant funny series, so many great jokes so many funny characters!! I think its the best thing peter kay ever did so so good!!
MR RAY VON JOHN!!!!😂
Dude! You should react to Fonejacker or Facejacker (Kayvan Novak). Completely ridiculous and over the top, just like peep show and inbetweeners. You'd love it for sure.
as some have suggested max and paddys road to nowhere the spin off with the 2 doormen its hilarious
I love unmentioned jokes like Kenny Senior and Young Kenny are not related - Senior is Kenny Senior's surname.
Eh? I’m pretty sure they are related. Either way, his surname is Dalglish/Dalgliesh, isn’t it? I’m sure it was mentioned in a previous episode.
@@andrewmay1299 Kenny Senior is an inveterate liar - he said his name was Kenny Dalglish because of the famous footballer with that name.
It was mentioned in an interview with Peter Kay that the two characters were not related but their names were chosen to make you think they were, and no reference would be made to it in the show.
Knew you’d like Kenny Senior, he’s basically an older version of Jay from the inbetweeners. Everything he says is pure bull***t 🤣
The films are pretty good, watch if you get the chance. The original was Seven Samurai (1954), which was remade into a western in The Magnificent Seven (1960) which itself was remade in 2016
Magnificent 7 is a great movie. Worth a watch
I guess ya gotta do Max and Paddy's Road Trip next, it's the follow up to Phoenix Nights
Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere is the secret 3rd season of Phoenix Nights. Well worth a watch. 😜
😂😂 I want the name of the song not the artist and plays the one part of the songs with the title in it 🤣🤣
Dave Spikey did some stand up comedy at Golcar working men’s club,
Dave Spikey: If I throw this boomerang will it come back?
Heckler: It will if it f#%king hits me!
Not sure if it's available but anything else from Peter Kay I think you'd love car share or max and Paddy's road to nowhere 😂
The quiz intro music is 'Turning Japanese' by The Vapours.
🙌
The face paint creases me.
You should try max and paddy road trip to nowhere
For your predictions as regards revenge, wait till the last episode. I won't spoil it for you.
Ahhhh, 1 of my all time faves. Back in the day when the world wasn’t so ‘Politically Correct’
"Brassic" - you need to try Brassic next KB!
When you've done these. You need to watch Max and Paddy spin off series
Banana Grove as a spin off would have been a fun idea, seeing that actually behind the scenes they're just as much of a shambles as the Phoenix is. Also, maybe now consider both Peter Kay and Dave Spikey's stand up shows and see what you make of the general comedy.
I just saw a clip of you on Netflix in the Depp v heard documentary ❤
🎉🎉🎉. Great. Thank you
The Magnificent 7 is a US reworking of a Japanese movie The 7 Samurai. It's worth seeing if you like Westerns
16:45
What a day? 🇬🇧👵
Love the shirt “GOR-LA-MI”
Magnificent seven -1960 is my favourite film and would love to see you react to it.
Keep up the good work and let the laughs keep flowing
The joke with Kenny is he is a compulsive liar who's prepared to come out with any old shit, no matter how ridiculous.
max and paddys road to nowhere is a must after this
Magnificent 7 is a classic, its up there with a fist full of dollars
If you like Western's then The Magnificent 7 is well worth watching
Their is a max and paddy spin off of this you know
Unfortunately, Peter Kay and the actor Dave Spikey, who played Jerry, had a big falling out. Basically, they wrote the series together, but in an interview, Peter Kay took all the credit and didn't even mention Dave.which obviously was very hurtful
Well shit um 😂
Magnificent seven movie was inspired by seven samurai which with Ran and Rashomon are superb Japanese movies
Hey kboom have you ever saw Peter Kay and misheard lyrics.. Its a screem😂
I'm not sure The Magnificent Seven would make for a good reaction video. It's certainly worth a watch, as is the movie it's a remake of, Seven Samurai. I've not seen the 2016 version of The Magnificent Seven but the 1960 version is a classic Western.
The Magnificent Seven is an American remake of Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai. Both great movies and much better than the remake. Quite old now though.
Make sure you watch Max and Paddy’s road to nowhere after this. Just as good if not better
