Hey Mike, love your videos & appreciate the tips!! I dash in Wisconsin & I actually have seen promos that were 6.50-7. Sometimes there are promos that are within the same time of eachother & thus a fusion between two promos commence 😊🙏🏻 Haven’t tried it cause it isn’t in a area I prefer but figured I’d pitch this in!
@@YourDriverMike I was also shocked when I seen the amount but the catch to all that was it was in an area I wouldn’t prefer dashing around & also was at a much later time in the night sadly.
Dude your orders are god tier compared to mine. I always get orders where they aren't even a dollar a mile. I even got one that was 0.50c a mile which is ridiculous. Plus I have over a 70% acceptance rate.
I expecting a nose dive when my priority access goes away Oct 3. I’m at 30% AR right now. I’ll probably try shifts without it then bump it back up for priority access and see the difference
This is the first time in months since I started watching your channel, that you are actually out physically dashing. I wondered if you still actually did physical gig work. 🎉
I like to start at 4pm and stop around 2am in Clayton North Carolina dinner time is when I see the best paying orders and late nights is when I get the short distance good paying orders as when less dashers are on.
really mike rejected twenty three dollars for ten miles. I would take that all day even on the remote chance of my next order going back to my home zone
The peak pay for the earn by time option was $26 an hour in "north pittsburgh " (mcknight rd. Ross township area.) On Saturday I had to end up doing that rip off scheme instead pay by order because even with peak pay, they're only sending me these outrageously low paying/high mile orders. My acceptance rate at the start of that day was 68% and it went down to 59% from declining so many horrible offers. And my rating is 4.85. Would you have any idea why this is?? Love the videos by the way man. Keep it up!!!
Had a $5 Peak pay the other day on an adjacent zone. Was doing other work at Panera so I did dash along the way to it and it took me 20 minutes to have a $10.25 for 3 miles ring. Was hoping for better given it was only a $2 tip but the offer made sense overall so I did it. Customer was a nightmare as she was unclear about the address but I got it to her.
I’ve got a 100pk of extra straws, a bundle of extra wrapped silverware, and a scotch tape to tape the straw to the cup….all at the ready should the situation suffice
Every market is different. I live near the Wisconsin / Chicago border. I have worked in Milwaukee. I have been to a Dash Store. But mostly got $4 chicken sandwich orders out there. Lake Geneva, WI / Silver Lake.. hard for me to know the busy times and Hot Spots out there. Most orders are rural, at distance and driving around downtown, ( near the business area ) is no easy task. McHenry/Grayslake , I like McHenry area. Many pickup points. Round Lake, their McDonald's is trash. Day and Night. I myself refuse to eat at this location. I have rejected $12 orders from this store going 2 miles. As there are only 2 people working there at night, they are both high ASF. And that drive thru will not move 10 minutes per car. They have 15-20+ cars normally. I have little issues with any other location. I have worked in Chicago as well. Most orders were short distance for more rapid orders. Unless you have to pay for parking at a Jewel Grocery store. Cost me $19 to park.very bad experience there.. Use what works, if it's not working for you. Try another way.
Mike, what mode of Volkswagen do u drive? I’m guessing Jetta? Can u tell us about fuel economy and how do u like it? I’m dashing in California and day by day doordash is dying here😢 Gas prices are high as 6.50 per gallon…
I've seen $8 peak pay in downtown Seattle and it consistently gets 3-5 dollars peak pay during rush hours. That area is absolutely terrible with traffic, parking, constructions, and steep hills though... but it's always busy every hour and that peak pay was tempting lol.
Wow, that makes sense though for the reasons you mentioned. It’s the shiny object and for those that don’t know they might make the same pay as $3-$5 peak pay elsewhere. Just depends on traffic, order volume, luck etc
Primanti brothers... Miss them. Honestly these videos where things go wrong are helpful lol That way when and if... Good to know good tips and tricks lol and now I want sushi 🍣 how dare you, jk. You're pumping these out lately. 👏
It’s not 10 miles it’s 20 miles if it’s not taking it back to your area. Classic rookie mistake. Noobs see 23 dollars and instantly accept without thinking ahead
I have had problems with the beta program with the shopping pay. When I get to check out it freezes and I have to reboot my entire phone. It won't let me get out and get back in and redo it. It freezes and I wind up paying for the transaction but it won't work unless every boat my phone
Let me clarify, my customer ratings are getting slammed. They started it like 4 days ago here. 11am - 2pm and 5pm - 9pm 6 deliveries in a row for $9 dollars extra. I participated for the first few days. They are stacking no tippers in it and they are the only customers that regularly rate you. I even called support and told them I am going to stop participating in these delivery streaks if you don't change the customer rating system. $18 extra dollars a day is not worth loosing top dasher. Top dasher is worth like $100 a day easy. The no tippers are the only ones who usually rate you bad but a rare tipper will give you 5 stars...
@DoorDashDummy if a restaurant gives me an order in a paper bag, I use a plastic bag to put the paper bag in tie it up to keep it hor and put it in the hot bag. An added extra layer to keep that heat in especially qith winter coming and it increased my tips
Not going to open the bag and make them think I tampered with the food to just add in a bunch of stuff they likely don’t need or will notice. They’ve already tipped beforehand. I can tell your a rookie
@@westhoodqualzini7884 I don't open the bag to put it in. I'm not a rookie I've been gigging for going on three years. U have ur own plastic bags and put the condiments in the bag and put the bag from the restaurant in the plastic bag. Don't call someone a rookie and assume that I'm doing something else.
@@ericberry6557 you not a rook your one of those oldheads who’s still working a Burger King at 40. And you go above and beyond it hopes someday it’ll be noticed and make the same amount as someone who’s cruising. Work smarter not harder. You doing way too much.
😂😂😂 to call someone broke while running maybe $25 an hour is crazy to me after car insurance, after car repairs, after gas, after your rent, after your food bill. I honestly don’t think anybody who works for Tips. Praying that they get tips should be calling anybody broke.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 lmao you can’t make this 💩 up hahahahahahahahahahah
⚡Is Earn By Time better? Check out my recent EBT shift: ruclips.net/video/Xe985fLL-ds/видео.html&t
Late night Dasher shift coming tomorrow!
Earn by time people should be issued clown uniforms,
I almost always do late night orders.
Love the shift audible! Makes so much sense

$6.50-$7.00 is insanee haha that’s huge. Granted we know they’ll minimize base pay ($2) but that’s still $9 minimum before tips!

The highest peak pay I've seen is $5.50.
Which market? How frequently has it popped up?
@YourDriverMike Hampton, Virginia, and it was only once as a stacked promo.

We have $5 peak pays in California
Facts
I went on Saturday for 2 hours total time and got 73.85 taking 99% of orders given to me
Don't think I've seen you this happy in a long time.
Hi Mike you did awesome! I wish I would get those orders. I live in Omaha and the orders have been terrible here

We always have peak pay around 9:30pm-11:30pm or 1:30am-3:30am 😅 here in IE California

What are your thoughts on Doordash lowering base pay on stacked orders?
I think it’s bull.
Why are they dipping into my tip?

I memorized my dead service zones, so I'll memorize the address before crossing those dead zones, and then GPS comes back on after the dead area.
Nice edc Logo, there 😊
Thank you!
I saw 7.50 peak pay couple weeks ago. Did not see an order
That “wrong location” error has been really bad for everyone.
Ive seen 8.00 peak pay but was in a really bad winter storm
Hey, Mike, what kind of mic is that? Rode?
Are you in top dasher program right now?
I'm Mike also 😂. I'm in Pa also ...I'm in the Altoona area
That 23$ deff would have taken for 10miles. Even factoring 10min driving back would of ideally been less than 45min total for the run.
It’s not 10 miles it’s 20 miles if it’s not taking it back to your area. Classic rookie mistake. Noobs see 23 dollars and instantly accept without thinking ahead
Uber Boston Guy would be having a heart attack declining all these orders!
My new peak pay is after 5 consecutive deliveries you get 8 bucks. In Oklahoma. Is anyone else getting this now
Not bad for your area but would not work here where I am in florida. I run on the weekends avg. Less than 200 miles a day and making over 200 per day.
Per hour/mile are not really useful stats. Per order amount is the one to pay attention to.
Bro I seen 7.00 dollars peak pay in Boston mass
Wow!!!!!!

I though the straw was for the driver to sample the drink to make sure it was safe?
Are you on Twitter Mike?
