This might be an esoteric question: On October 12, 2019 you visited Irene Tan co-owner of Brooklyn North East Wine and Spirits. I believe the title was: 8 things whisk(e)y drinkers dislike about liquor stores. Okay, more set up before the actually question...I live in a small town in Indiana which has a chain of liquor stores called SaveOn Liquors. I am an avid scotch drinker so I visits these stores frequently. Now to the question...Recently, I have noticed most of the stores have tip jars on the counter: How do you feel about that? My scotch is behind the counter....so very little inter personal connection there,. Just curious.

How about Cali Riptide Rye. I and my wife, both find it very aggressive but smooth. The strong flavor overpowers the ethanol. I wouldn't describe Port Charlotte as "Hardcore". I guess I don't understand what that means. I thought it was very smooth and flavorful. However, I prefer Uigedal (yeah, I know that is spelled wrong) at the same price point, and I actually prefer the Classic Laddie (with a couple of drops of water to waken it up) as a better buy.

So sad I can't find Stagg Jr anymore. Really liked that whiskey even when I was just getting into whiskey

I would go with Dry Fly Wheat Whiskey that’s single barrel. Mid 140s down.

You guys said the blendageddon after a time the pallet became pretty simple but what did it do for the actual tasting of the proof the alcohol? Curious to see what you would end up if you Blended together a whole bunch of + 60% whiskeys.

I've always thought Bookers was my hard core, mostly to be enjoyed in the colder months.

    Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength 💪
Makes you forget about the Octomore 😉
Ardbeg Corryvreckan should also do the job.

You need to bring Bowmore Laimrig in the mix. You have to put an Amrut on the list as well. The flavors are not as an acquired taste as an Islay Scotch but they are so intense they are like a roller coaster.
