Hi Professor Messer, my name is Rafael, I just came back to let you know that I just took my CompTIA Security+ exam this past weekend and PASSED ON THE FIRST TRY!!!!! Couldn't have done this without your YT videos, course notes and practice exams. Thank you for everything and I'm so grateful for your help.
@@MrThegreat94 Yes, he touched on almost all the questions that came out. However, combining the videos with a Study Guide (e.g. CompTIA's) will help you understand and retain more. On the other hand, the test has only 90 questions so focus on learning, else you'll feel you're wasting much time and energy (not everything you learn will come out). Practical Advice during the test: 1) Flag review every question you're not sure of. 2) When your intuition signals that your answer may be wrong: Pause, Calm Down, Critically review the question and eliminate the options one by one, Make your choice, Move on. Both sound obvious, but I didn't always stick to number 2. Made me fail a question that was obvious in hindsight. Annnnnd, that's the end of my essay😁😁😁. All the best @Ace Smoove.
@@Chiori_Ndukwe appreciate you alot for that!!!! Bout to take test in June or July!!! So I need all help I can get. One more thing where can it find study guide you was talking about?
@@MrThegreat94 Hey Ace, yes everything that Professor Messer is teaching can be on the exam, he makes it very simple and easy to understand, like I said before, using him I was able to pass the exam on my first try.
Thank you so much Professor James Messer. Like Rafael, I also passed the Sec+ on my first try. Your videos, take-10 and Study Group sessions were critical!!🙏 Couldn't have done it without you... Well, I could but it would have been a lot more stressful😁
My strategy has always been to mark exam questions AND submit an answer. In case I run out of time, at least I’ve answered something and hopefully I answered correctly.
Professor Messer I just wanted to thank you for this study material...I took my SY0-601 exam today and passed...I used your videos to study along with other materials and it was invaluable...thank you and woohoo to my Sec + Cert. ----Kevin
@@Ryan-jl1el The questions at the beginning are interactive and I didn't see where the IP addresses and information I needed to add to the servers was located...it didn't seem like it was put together correctly....after the 3 or 4 interactive...they are all multiple questions...know your acronyms...they will ask a dumb question and have four acronyms as the answer...knowing what they mean will give you your answer...hope this helps. ----Kevin
Well in am a cybersecurity and i have completed alot of projects and went through interviews, but could not find a job. Now i am preparing for my security plus exams to be more competitive in the job market. I want when next is the study group for security plus going to take place? Thanks Robert.
Hi Professor, I went through your security plus study group and i find it very interesting. The part where you were talking about interview preparation was really appealing.
I would probably recommend, to start from learning acronyms. Once you get that, it would be a lot easier to know what’s the question is about in general .

How should I start my studies using the SY0-601 book.. I'm writing down endless notes.
