Hi everyone! I hope you like this tutorial and definitely check out the matching hand warmer tutorial! Let me know if you have any questions and I will also have a comment with the written pattern so look for that :)
Here's the written pattern: Row 1: Slip knot, chain 7 Row 2: Skip the first chain, sc in remaining 6 chains, chain 1 Row 3-50: Single crochet in the back loops only across all 6 sc, chain 1 Row 51: Chain 2, dc in each ribbing row (50 dc total), chain 2 Row 52-72: dc in each stitch across, ch 2 Row 73: Ch7, sc along each chain, ss into first dc stitch, ss into second dc stitch Row 74: skip 2 ss, sc into each sc stitch (6 total) Repeat rows 73 and 74 until reach the end of the leg warmer. Fold in half, sc the two sides together, ch 1 cut off, weave in ends slip knot, chain 80, cut off, weave in ends, weave chain every 3-4 ribbing rows and make a bow Repeat all rows and steps to make a second leg warmer!
I saw this on my fyp, and I started crocheting but forgot about it soon after, I then realized that I lost all of my croschet hooks when I moved rooms. I am currently looking for them so I can do the project
hey! love this tutorial!! i know this comment is late and it is ok if you don’t reply, but i am going to start a crochet business online, and is it ok if i sell this product as long as i credit you??
I love these and have gotten to the point of the bottom ribbing, and I'm not a new crocheter by any means, but I am lost! Once you go out of frame it's impossible to make sense of what's happening. I chain 7 and single crochet back down, I slip stitch into to first and second double crochets, here's the problem... how to work back back up! If I turn my working yarn is on the wrong side along with the back loop! No matter how I turn I can't make sense of it. I have frogged so many times, chained again, turned, turned, then chained, I just can't get it to click without seeing it. I'm afraid I'll have to end it here, then make a separate ribbing and sew that on to finish. But it's adorable pattern and you did very well otherwise, the missing step though really hurts the overall pattern. 😕
hey could you explain this? sorry your hands weren't in the frame and i couldnt understand the pattern Row 73: Ch7, sc along each chain, ss into first dc stitch, ss into second dc stitch Row 74: skip 2 ss, sc into each sc stitch (6 total)
Yes! So chaining 7 gives you the length of the ribbing for the top and bottom of the leg warmers. Then turn your work, and single crochet into each chain (except the first one, the one closest to your hook). Then you’ll be back near the main part of the leg warmers, slip stitch into the first stitch of the actual leg warmer, and also slip stitch into the next stitch. Turn your work. Skip the two slip stitches you just made. Sc into each of the six single crochets you have. Chain one and turn, repeat this across.
When I start doing the cable bit for the bottom of the legwarmers, it ends up being sideways. Fo I just trust the process and it'll come the right way as I go along or am I doing something wrong?
@@gabriellemcauley9827 I figured out that when you said to do a slip stitch I was just doing a normal single crochet I think and that's why 💀 I'm finishing off now but I'm gonna have to try these again cause I somehow only ended up doing like thirteen rows T^T thank you!

Yes I apologize for the frame, the yarn is weird, you just have to pull it where you need it to be and work with it there! I hope this helps

how much yarn did you use in total??? :)
Less than two skeins!

What do you mean by sideways? Maybe try continuing for 10 rows and see if it makes sense
