One of the best heavy metal bands period and Steve's vocals are impeccable hes right there with, dio, dickinson, halford and the rest of the top heavy metal vocalists of all time
Oh shit, man, I remember when this was originally on MTV! I also remember the way my mom kept looking at Steve Grimmett and asking me if that hair of his was real, LOL That's sort of a mullet hybrid, it has the bangs, but the length is way too long. There again it worked for a guy named Billy Ray Cyrus, and it was the 80's, and crazy hair was required. As on who lived the decade in it's entirety as an adult, I miss it like no other time. Too bad we can't go back...
Saw and taped this off of MTV, back in the day when they were actually a music, not a fucking bullshit channel. Headbangers ball, the best 3 hours on tv ever.
2:05 I will never understand how he hits that note so hard and so solid, its my favorite part and to hear him virtually fucking replicate it is just insane. Fuck yeah Grimmet has a voice to be reckoned with.
Holy hell Steve's voice live right off the bat at :025... OMG he nails every note perfectly. I always really enjoyed hearing him sing on the CDs, but I never heard him live until tonight. How the hell does he hit those notes effortlessly! I love it!

Their first album was released when they were signed to a punk label called Ebony Records. After that they signed with RCA records. Before the release of their 3rd album, they were sued by Ebony records, THEN sued by RCA records, which pretty much made the band break up
I saw this band in one of the smallest, shittiest clubs in the Midwest. This was before the singer got the hair extensions and before they dumped the original bass player and drummer for more commercial looking players.
@@BruceW.-fr9oi Hair extensions and weaves existed in the 80s. I knew people with some of the worst, budget extensions I’d ever seen. It looked like a mud flap stapled to the back of their necks.
