The ethanol in gas is what screws shit up. Recreational/ ethanol free is the best stuff to use especially if it's gonna be sitting for a while it's all I pump in my 200 but I don't run a tank a day or even a week
Hey Luis great videos men, very helpful, I’m looking for a job as a helper before I get into school in August, hopefully some of your subscribers will see this or even you, I learn fast and work hard👍🏽
Just my 2 cents but I believe those machine don’t run hot enough to burn 97 fuel and You can also run sea foam in your oil to clean it up too. & I’ve changed radiators in tub beds, not fun but doable 😂 keep burnin big dog 🤙🏽
I always check the brushes before even starting a machine that has been sitting. It's prime real-estate for small animals for whatever reason. Making sure the brushes move in their holders is also very important. Where's the 2nd gen?
Im putting together my first rig, I have a 4th gen dually and a 200 redface..... how do you have your machine in your bed. did you need to make a cut for the armature? Do you bolt it down or do you just leave it?
Get a 200.. They weld like a mf'r and they'll teach you how to respect a machine that DOESN'T need regular maintenance. Its a rig welder right of passage to break out with a 200
I am looking at buying a sa 200 shorthood runs and welds 1960 i believe. Should i check anything else like going through all the gears checking wires. The owner said he put new rings and gaskets 10 years ago and only has 10 hours on it?
Would be cool to see you give the new SA a refresh once the main setup is back from getting repairs🤟🏽
Should be adding lead additive to protect valve seats on older engines.
Bring back Frankenstein! Lol hope all is well amigo!

My comment is pretty late, but when ever you are buying an older machine. Take a compression test kit. And pull each plug to check compression
So what ended up happening to it
Is the machine gas?? For a second I thought you were putting gas in a diesel SA 200. I hope it’s gas😂😂😂
What shop do send your machine to get work done
I’ve heard running sea foam in carburetors isn’t very good for them idk how true it is but that’s what I’ve heard
My mechanic loves that stuff he will run a whole can to 5 gal of gas
Idk if i would have put high octane. In it lol
