  • Last Dollar Road - San Juan Mountains
In this video we explore the Last Dollar Road within the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. We ran this trail from south to north. Starting near Telluride, CO and ending close to Ridgway. This is a very easy trail with a few shelf roads and no serious obstacles, except for a fallen tree or two. There are a few main overlooks facing the mountains to the south and a lot of camping locations. Overall it was a great day on the trail with family and look forward to revisiting it again in the fall to see the aspen trees changing.

Thanks for posting this- I’ll be excited to make my Troopy up there next summer to camp. Hopefully I can find a good spot along the road. I haven’t check on dispersed camping, but I will before I head up there

One of my favorites!! Was this a few days ago? I was wondering about the conditions this year so far.

Should be a good drive. It is an easy road with only a few bumps here and there. The rain may make it a little slick in areas but still passable. Especially if you have good tires and 4-wheel drive.
