Barracouta used to be prolific here in Southern Tasmania. They were caught for the fish and chip trade. Some catches were so large that they were used for fertiliser. 1 fish per apple tree was the rate of application! Sometimes they were wormy, sometimes not. Then in the late 70s the schools just disappeared. You only catch small fish now. No one seems to know what happened, water temperature is the probably cause. Love fjordland!
Love watching your vids mate just subscribed wanna go there one day hope I don't get to old before I do very cool to watch thanks for being you and sharing
Awesome videos Josh. Found your site when watching Tasman when you guys ran into eachother down in Fiordland . Been watching your videos all day mate. Love the content and the way you involve the boys , great kids mate. Keep up the great work. SteveG
Gidday bro..not wrong about sheep lol all these years later they are still brainless as Fuc 😂. Literally must the animal with the forever Brian fart moments. That weeks adventure and fucn amazing holy it looked so gorgeous there, The seals were cool the rowdy first one gave me a jumpscare 😂. Seriously amazing video mate..have an amazing week
That Fiordland must get into the soul after a while , summed up by the young fellas' great dance on the bow . As a sawmiller I found , for efficiency when moving timber with someone, (especially my wife) , a leading hand needs to be nominated so both grab the same piece. I wonder, if thats where the term, " leading hand, " came from. Apparently most nz caught barracouta is exported to South Africa where it is a delicacy, worms and all.
Absolutely magical down there. What is the name of the cruise company bro ? Wanna bring my wife & kids back to NZ and the sounds is on the list of places to take em too
I grow up on eating couta and I loved it but in saying that when we caught them back as a kid they never seamed to have worms. If your looking to catch millions look up couta toggles 😊 Also i have had on through the foot 😅
MUDFLAPS ON YOUR TRAILER, THE PHONE NUMBER ON THEM .... WOULD THAT BE THE TRAILER BUISNESS??? IF SO RING THEM THEY WILL USUALLY USE JUST THE SAME BEARING ON ALL THEIR TRAILERS.... GIVE EM A RING THEYLL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IT IS OR WHICH GENERIC VERSION IS EASILY SOURCED
@joshjameskiwibushman for real? Usually they go by for example 8ft x 4ft tandem axle and with the rego (carjam it) ..... or a I.D tag from ELITE should've helped??? It's gonna be an ALKO bearing it will only matter for the rated kg?
Yo! Still pumping out weekly content, but it's a subscription service on Patreon as I do it fill time now and need a few dollars to pay for stuff. Cheers
