Sprinkling them in occasionally, I think, would be a better way to go, as to not deviate too far from your channel's roots. While I collect for the pure enjoyment of the cards (I can't keep anything sealed, haha), and don't really focus on the money side of things, I do like to hear people's takes on that aspect of the hobby. It helps keep my knowledge about the hobby multi-faceted.

I also pulled a shiny treasures god pack the other day. Was so stoked! I got mimikyu as my AR which was one of my chase cards. Normally the boxes have 1 full shiny & generally 3 baby shiny’s. Also, my guess is zapdos

I opened 4x10 shiny treasure ex boosters and pulled a very gradable looking SAR charizard. Resorted to ordering the same Mew you're after, but might still open some more in the future (or wait until temporal drops)
Nice with the Zard SAR! Man that Mew is probably something I’m gonna have to buy as well. I know if I chase it in booster boxes I’ll end up having to open like 50 😂😂
Shining fates didnt stand a chance. But seems you had my luck when i opened a ton of it. Still never pulled the zard its painful but the set is what got me back into collecting ❤

Awesome luck on the GP! Even without a GP Shining Fates doesn’t stand a chance without the Zard. Hidden Fates would be the closest in $ value pulls (but not in cost). Awesome battle nonetheless!

Thanks legend the God pack was a pleasant surprise! I’m going to make the Pokémon investing video I spoke of in the video and will definitely address these two sets and many more. Quick answer is I do believe 151 and Fusion are both good long term hold sets. 151 English will be a slower incline in price then Japanese 151. Fusion strike prices are low still at the moment so for the right price worth grabbing. Will go into much more detail in a future video but hope that helps for now.

Anytime my friend! If you like ripping packs there is nothing wrong with that. Fusion is well priced to still rip and some places have 151 at a good price. 151 probably will be more fun to rip as it has higher pull rates.
I’ve only opened about 20-30 packs of shining fates but I lucked out and got the zard in like pack 10. No luck with any god packs so far. Set guess: lapras
