The pokedex case is actually upside down the way you hold it. In Japan they read books and mangas from right to left and that is why a pokedex is also opening that way.
I assume the psyduck pin saying "let me out" is in reference how people would put their pins in itabags, which are bags that have a clear pocket to show your pins, but also if the pin falls out, it won't be lost.
The Bulbasaur plush definetely isnt official. That thing is way too wonky to be Tomy quality. Biggest giveaway is the tag though. All of the copyright is missing.
Tomy plush can be anywhere from $6 to $20, depending on size. The fact that it had no other tags other than the sewn on one makes me think it could have just been a second-hand one. It also coulda just been a fake Tomy plush.
I don’t think that the Moncolle line was around during the 90s. I’ve seen them more so in modern day, as Tomy is still producing them. Also, crucial detail: the packaging always has a window on the back card so that you can view the figure from the back, which this one does not have.
So... like that last charmander figure...you can get him, squirtle bulbasaur, sobble, grooky, scorbunny, etc etc at litterally dollar tree and dollar rama japanese packageing and all.
Just did some research. Turns out it's actually official art! It was used on a promo card many years ago, but seems to be a Japan exclusive from XY, and was supposed to be an EX card. They also used the artwork on a set of Pokemon Center deck sleeves. The sleeves go for about $50 on eBay
They have official pokemon merch on Temu which is odd, I’ve gotten some really cute pokemon, like pilachu, bulbasaur and eevee sleeping in a little bean bag. There’s obviously fake pokemon stuff on there. I’ve bought some of those gold cards cause I thought they looked cool as a collectible. They weren’t bad at all.
1997 charmander isn't official. It doesn't have the certificate stamp on it. I have a Rowlet one, and that also has a copy right of 1997, but mine has an official pokemon certificate stamp on it
I don't play the card game or really collect cards anymore, but the Beedrill card has the grass typing instead of bug or poison (I think Beedrill is poison type too right?) so it's also wrong.

The 1997 is just the copyright date, not when it was made. Most stuff, legit or fake, will have their copyright listed like that.
Plus it would be a 1997 item with a QR code 😂

@@pizzathief5885 Thats odd lol
That’s hilarious. 😂
😂
funfact: temu is not listing anything as pokemon bc of the problems that could appear from the pokemon international company
Can't wait to bring this 800hp charizard V to an official TCG event🤣

its stolen from etsy. the origninal and better pin s on etsy

What nobody talks about is that it doesn't say Illinois. It's from Lilinois. lmao
“Frog seeds.” 🤣
I love that the Lugia poster has the Japanese name for Umbreon written on it.

Rubber pin backing never work. Neither do the metal.. so I got locking pin backs and their so much better
The metal ones works for me but the rubber ones get lose and sometimes fall off
I just use chunks of hot glue 😔
The Takara Tomy toys are actually super cheap in Japan. I've paid 300-700 yen for various of those.
Hahaha I love the attack names and their descriptions 😂😂😂
That wasn't articuno thats's Blu from Rio
I knew I recognized that face from somewhere! Yeah, looks like some cursed fusion of the 2

the bit on knockoff things going pre-order its been a common tactic to ride on people's FOMO.
as far i know, takara tomy is "official" maker of pokemon, i think you can find figurines from them in pokemon centers too
Does anyone know the artist of the 3:03 card? Great vid btw

How do you look for them?
I imagine they are not listed as the pokemon's name or even the pokemon brand 🤔
Psyduck is saying let me out because he always has a headache
Pokemon Asia one is legit. Copyright date and production date are whole different things.

the charmander is bootleg crap :p it's not old if it has a QR code
Idk, QR codes were invented in 1994, and became widespread in the 2010s

there is no bug typing in tcg and bug types usually have either grass or psychic typing
Awwww such a cute bulbasaur display ❤
Was the charmander new or an older product?
i got a striped sweater that i couldnt find in any other stores and it was pretty good quality
