      Yes, all you say is true -- it is still MLM (which I am OK with). I think Torrey is merely saying that the "new way behaves" more like an affiliate link from a certain perspective. So both are true.

    I have a friend in plunder and I always shop using her link. I like that network marketing can easily become affiliate purchases.

    I think I may have given the wrong impression to my sponsor. I love my oils and I love learning and using the oils, but I’m no way do I want to sell or have parties or the commitment to have the parties and etc.
    i will gladly help anyone who wants to buy oils or becoming a member but I will not go out of my way to try to gain new members.

    The new website was rolled out in July 2021. Since then, the company has tanked. Well, it has been going downhill since 2018, when the founder Gary Young died of cancer. If you are a brand partner with Young Living and you do not have an international team, your organization is most likely half the size it was 6-12 months ago. Most of the higher ranking members have lost at least one, if not two ranks. Checks have gone down by thousands of dollars every month.

    People are getting double charged for orders and then boxes show up empty. It takes a month or more to get the refunds processed.

      Sorry this happened, this is not the normal, with Covid resurgence, there was some pivots in the warehouse. Then the crazy weather's affected employees. Be sure to reach put to the one who introduced you to navigate issues.

      @@keyoilslauramorrison9767 My comment said nothing about shipping or supply chain issues. It addressed the company website double charging people. The company sending people empty boxes. When a refund is authorized, even if requested minutes after being charged, it is taking a month or more to get that refund. These are not supply chain or covid related issues. These are signs the company is struggling from within.

    I can't believe how horrible this company has become. Two hour hold times with the same recording over and over and over again?? Call backs that never work? An hour hold time just for a computer chat?? This company has enough money to have the best customer service but that is obviously NOT their priority. They forgot this is about health and community - now it's just about being billionaires - it's all Mary, she sucks and never cared about the quality of the company, just the quantity and now that is all there is. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

      Torey Noora meh the website is the one that made the mistake, it didn't give me the option to confirm address before completing the sale and it used my old address in another state! following up made me wish I hadn't ordered, I don't like supporting them anymore- the hold, the arrogance it changes the experience so I hope other companies come along. Not sure how a 2 hour hold time is good customer service?? ✌🏼✌🏼

      its just 2 pieces of wood, I think 1x12x10? I attached them together and just laid it on top. you can put rubber bumper things also to keep it from sliding around

    If anyone has been relying on Young Living as their sole income (most likely those ranked Gold, Platinum, Diamond), they definitely had to find another source of income in the past 12-18 months. Commission checks are way down. Platinum members are ranking as Silver these days. Crown Diamonds as Platinum.

      Do you have an accurate source of this info, it's not the case for all, yes there were people wanting to make a quick buck that signed on before we made our recent changes to be a brand partner, so some dropped off, this happened to EVERY Networking Opportunity

      @@keyoilslauramorrison9767 I do have accurate sources but I am not at liberty to divulge them. Ask your upline what rank they really are. I know Crown Diamonds who are now Platinums, Platinums that are Silvers. It’s true. I could defend this in court if I needed to, I’m not lying about any of it. But I know when you are in an mlm, people will defend them over and over again. If you are looking for truth, you will find it. If you are looking to confirm your beliefs, you will find that too.

    Customer service complaints are super high. Wait times have been up to 8 hours or more for customer service calls and chats.

      It's no longer the case, so sorry for the issue 😞, people can reach out to those who introduced them to navigate these issues as well, that's what I did for my clients.

    I'm getting so mad when I place an order and receive it but I'm missing items. No reason, no explanation like sometimes I'll know that it's on backorder and not available so I'm told. But then other times when I order something I never get it and I don't know why.

      Do you ask? No company is perfect and accidents happen, but always inquire when an order with any company is incorrect. You sound like this happens often which is odd. I've been with young living over 4 years and it's nly happened twice. Each time I've notified them and they eagerly and promptly got out my missing item. However twice in that same time period they've also added an extra item accidentally. I've notified them both times and they were gracious enough to let me keep them . Once it was an entire bottle of laundry soap!❤❤❤

      @@saraschneider6781 I’ve been with YLEOs for 11+ years. I have never experienced anything like this. This morning I was on hold with YL from 11am-1pm actually speaking with an associate from 1pm-2pm. Try my best not to call customer service. However, my July ER order was completely messed up. It’s all been corrected. I’m still waiting for a delivery that should have been delivered 3+ weeks ago. lol

      Nah, every other company has middle men, so it has to do with the quality. These people are giving personalized service, samples & more, they work hard for their commissions. If you want cheap oils, you get what you pay for.

      @@keyoilslauramorrison9767 you are correct that the brand partners do work hard for their commissions, problem is, the structure of the business model is designed in such a way that the bottom people will always lose. Always. If someone is making money at the top, that is because people at the bottom are losing money. For that reason, the business model, although legal, is very unethical. It’s hard to acknowledge that when you are in it though.

    This is so helpful thank you. Sometimes I dont need 50 worth of product each month. If I dont spend the 50 each month will I lose out on my current earn rate or anything else?

      Yes, you will lose your earn rate and any points. So keep that in mind

      if your monthly order goes under $50 you will lose your earn rate. You do have one grace month tho!

    I'm very excited for the new changes!! Thank you for posting! I did want to ask though I was automatically put into a brand partner when signing up with someone in the past. Do I still have to buy the business bundle?? Also, do we still get the PSK bonus if someone buys under our link? and if someone wants to become a brand partner can they do that under us, and if so do we get a bonus for that too? Thank you!!

      You don’t need to buy one, you’re grandfathered in. The PSK bonus is done.

      The starter kit bonus ends on Aug 1. You do not need to by the business bundle. The new compensation plan info is under MEMBER RESOURCES in your virtual office.

      @@keyoilslauramorrison9767 It used to be when you enrolled a new member with a premium starter kit (PSK) you got a $25 starter kit bonus and a 25% fast start bonus for a total of a $50 bonus. If you are a current brand partner, which I’m guessing you are, you already know that the starter kit bonus went away. So the one $25 bonus has been lost automatically. Also, the starter kit is no longer a requirement so new members can purchase just one item if they want. The 25% fast start bonus applies to new customers, but not new brand partners. If someone wants to sign up straight away as a brand partner, the person who enrolled them gets zero commission. If they sign up as a customer, the person who enrolled them gets the 25% fast start bonus. If they buy a $25PV item, the brand partner earns 25% of the 25PV, so $6.25, quite a difference from the $50 from before. So now it’s extremely difficult for brand partners to get started and make any money in the beginning. Also, the new commission structure with compression has changed. That’s more complicated but in the end, YL is keeping commissions that used to pay out to members and brand partners’ checks are dropping an average of 10% in commissions. All these changes went into affect Aug 1, 2021 and Nov 1, 2021 and the effects are being felt across the whole company. If you were unaware of all these changes, ask your upline.

    Do we earn commission on the things we buy ourselves, or just points? Do we receive the commission on those who’ve signed up under us still? And does our order still go in on the date we already had chosen?

      You will still receive commission, 8% for level 1, 5% for level 3, 4% for level 3 etc. Your process date will be the same

      Your process date is the same... however the time is not. It now processes at 12:01 a.m. versus 11:59 p.m. which could potentially be a problem if you're a procrastinator.❤🤣🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
      We don't receive commissions on our own orders much in the way that we don't receive points for products we purchase using redeemed points. You can however take off take off $100 dollars from your order for tax purposes and I think that's why we don't receive commissions on our own orders. I don't think the FTC would be rolled wis real thrilled with us receiving commissions on is missions on an expense that is a tax write-off.

      @@toreynoora Technically, that is illegal. To do it the proper way, you have to cancel and not order for 1 year. At that point, you are free to change to a new team.

    Total click bate title that can potentially attract LOT of antiMLMers. YL will always be an MLM. I actually thought you were an antiMLMer based on that. Just an FYI so you can be conscious of what kind of people and perceptions your channel is attraction.
    I actually hate these changes because of how people are talking about it. There is so much negatively about "YL should have done this" or "we didn't like this."
    The Basic starter kit has been a thing for years so we've been able to custom the enrolment experience for quite some time.. Even before that, multiple kits were offered. If anyone only ever pushed the oils PSK, that's on them and never the way it was intended.
    Also... Please understand what things are called and use proper terms. You sound like you're clueless.

      Hi Sara! I hope you’re having a good day! My biggest take-away, and my favorite things about the change, is the new subscribe to save. One of the biggest things I came across when trying to tell people about Young living oil‘s is that they only wanted one or 2 oils, or just a bottle of thieves concentrate, and to get the 24% off they would have to become a “member” by getting a kit. The subscribe to save makes it so much easier for those customers! 🥰 thanks for watching and I hope you’re nicer to the next person’s video you comment on 😘
