I love this! But if I could make a suggestion for the kitchen, I would switch the stove and fridge so that both sides of the stove top are open.
It’s beautiful, but I agree, I would switch too because I need more work space by my stove for my cooking supplies while cooking ie: dredging station etc…..
Agree as it gives you more efficient use of counter top when cooking. Not sure why that decisions was not made from the get go.
Yes I thought about that as well. Having that corner area open would look better.😉👍

It’s beautiful ! I do think the frig and stove need to be switched for the counter space next to the stove.
I really like this but I’d rather have the sink under the window and put a 18” dishwasher in the island. Really Nice ❤

you have the option to move the sink and there will be a dishwasher under the counter at the sink
Very beautiful, loved the Amanda. Like it's all on one floor. I agree stove and refrigerator should be switched, that way your prep is next to the stove 😊
Beautiful! The only thing I would add would be the walls in the bathrooms to go up for privacy when one has visitors. You had said a glass wall but I think a wall would be best. How much to add the walls?

I love the differences in the ceiling lines and how they create such interest. They are a work of art and superior craftsmanship. I agree about the frig and stove. Same for bathroom. Be great to create a space for a water closet pocket doors of course. I’m a gotta have outdoor living space. I need a front porch. I don’t need the window seat. Move the side entrance to the front create an entrance exit in the bedroom so when landscaping completed with little doggie fence you can let your puppy love out. Off the bedroom create a deck with Pergola open air space under trees. Go wild with wild flowers in pots. It’s a great plan. Would the loft be missed for additional storage? I am disabled and will probably get worse. Is there a way to accommodate that in any of the plans. I expect walker and oxygen would be the worse case. That’s why a loft is not at all something that can be part of my everyday. I want to plan ahead.
This video is so wonderful, showing all of the beauty of the Amanda! With all of it's spaciousness, closets, light, and one floor living. This has become your new showcase home and should be featured in many design home magazines!
The kitchen and bathroom should upper area should be separated by plexiglass. It will allow for privacy without blocking the light. The kitchen sink under the window. Make the island an eating/storage island. Amanda and Randy, ya'll are awesome.

Another recommendation move the sink in front of the window. You lose too much of the island countertop.

I don't understand who wouldn't want one. It's beautiful. I live in a 10 x 40. It's old. No storage. One small closet. Two really tiny closets. So that's 9 1/2 ft inside. Teeny tiny house. I would be blessed to have the Amanda. Melody did an awesome job.👍🌈💗🐾🐕

@@marymcguirk7083 - No, the lot that comes with this home is on the Mountain across the road from Tiny Town at ITH, just outside Newport, TN. The lots just outside Morristown won't have any tiny homes on wheels, because they are not allowed by zoning rules. Those lots will be for small site built homes on a foundation, bigger than the Amanda. The smallest homes there will be 500 sq ft (up to 1150 Sq ft) on 1/4 acre lots.

That suggestion has already been made and passed on to Randy
Suggestion for the bathroom - move the toilet closer to the tub so all that existing space can be used as a drawer stack on the vanity. You could fit 3 nice sized drawers next to the sink, women need storage for makeup, products, hair appliances, etc.
Also in the BR put an outlet on the wood wall across from bed, can’t put a TV there.
And kitchen needs a dishwasher at this price point.
There was no time left before the festival to put the dishwasher in but it goes by the window. We just covered the opening with doors. I will pass on your suggestions

I just want to let you know some personal thoughts.... for a home to be comfortable for older couples, 50 and up, we need at least a bath and a half... for our health we need to do colonoscopies, with 1 on the toilet all day the other needs facilities. Also, I'm a bath person, I don't do showers and my husband is a shower person, so a combo would work better for us. I'd also like to see a model that has a possibility for 2 lower bedrooms, one to use as a hobby room. I do crafts and sewing, so a space for that would be great. Just some thoughts I wanted to pass on. You guy's do a great job! Wish you were here in Western Washington!

I don’t think Amanda wants to live tiny. She lives in her late mother’s home, and it’s been in her family for awhile. Also, she has a BUNCH of dogs! I think she also has a grown daughter, who lives in a tiny. Maybe she comes to help out when Amanda travels? If Amanda didn’t have the family home and lots of dogs, maybe she’d be interested. Who knows??

Have you guys thought about putting a sliding glass door in the bedroom instead of a door
I was thinking that, too, or French doors. Then, it can open onto a private patio for morning coffee or evening soaking tub!

I love this and it is a good price. But for me, its too big. I am glad that ITH has many sizes. It is still the Charleston without a dormer for me. And place it on a 102' by 40' but that is ok. This is beautiful.
beautiful .. way too big for me as a single person. i would get it about half that size and get a shed to store my other belongings.

I really do not like the windows that stick out into the living room, not functional do not make sense. Also, not a fan of the "no ceiling" bathroom.
