I have one too, Jack Russell is very smart dog, he does the same thing with me, running to chase the water while I am watering the grass at the back yard which is a good exercise for him, he always waiting in front of the bathroom door while I am having a shower, I am very impressed of him when he did open the sliding door by him self. Even I close the door properly and he still can open it. That's how smart Jack Russell is...I loves Jack Russell very much.
I've had a lot of dogs of different breeds and my Jack is the silliest of all. She's totally crazy. She's a rescue. Someone gave her up at 1 year. Every time I look in her 👀 I wonder how anybody could do that and then I say thank you because we love her so much.

I had a male Jacky and he was the love of my life. He died at age 18 which was amazing and I miss him SO much. He was a typical arrogant male Jacky. He had NO fear and could run like the wind. He had no shades of grey. It was black and white. He loved you Or he ignored you. He was so funny but could be SO affectionate when it suited him. They are an amazing breed and they will test you all of the way but you cant help loving them - so intelligent.
The one at the 3:34 minute mark looks just like my precious little girl that I had to put down last month. Sleep sweetly, my little one. Best dog EVER!

After seeing this it reminds me of my regret of not allowing my Jack / Sadie the chance to have a litter of pups. They are so precious I didn't think I would be able to part with any of them. Jacks make very good companions!
Our JRT was about 13 weeks when our daughter decided that us "empty nesters" needed a pet. He's pretty much done all of the stuff shown (including shredding bedding), but has quieted down a lot - he's about 15 now. Sammy "inherited" a couple of cats (daughter split from boyfriend, and guess who got the cats), and since he can't see anymore (cataracts), he mostly ignores them, other than stealing some of their food. He's still a riot, and was about as cute as you could imagine when we got him, and still does a good job of that. Only one problem - our daughter said that he didn't bark, and didn't shed. He started doing both about the time her car's wheels hit the pavement outside of our driveway. He doesn't shed as much anymore, though.\
My Jack Russell is 15 as of this past month and also has cataracts and tremors, but she is still doing zoomies and jumpies and going strong! With a few bumps into things 😅.
Funny and interesting dogs. Hell not to mention they're very smart and intelligent dogs lol. I'm amazed based on what I just seen. Keep up the great work owners you guys are the best. 😃👍👍

I had a litter .one pup I picked up to check was small as my thumb.3 days old.she growled so ferouciously and quite loud when I petted her!I was shocked they can growl so young.she was always growling at other pups and pushing them away from milk time.maybe just born smart with a strong will to survive.she grew up to be a great gentle dog.

A lot of these dogs are Parson Russell Terriers. I'm being pedantic of course but lots of people think our PRT is a Jack. Both breeds are brilliant but of course I'm biased towards the Parson.
