Nice tractor, I’m considering that exact model. I saw your temp dropped to 172* , did it continue to run hot while pulling the mower ? ( was that temp taken while working ?).
So i have a ? I hunt private land and i do a mineral block out until September so for next year i would like to put a feeder out like you do in may till early September so do i need to contact dnr for permission or ?
People are so worried about a deer being shot off a feeder. I live in Ohio where baiting is legal. To think all you got to do is put out some corn and arrow a deer is insane. I’ve witnessed them cruise past feeders to eat whatever they want. In Ohio you can kill one buck a year. If you are selective on what hunt. I don’t care if you have 15 feeders out. There’s a good chance you’re going to still have a tag in your pocket at the end of the year. I know someone who brush hogs some of his corn instead of combining it and claims he hates baiters.
I literally had the same issue. I have two feeders next to each other and I set them up a couple months before bow season last year. One feeds corn, the other is this exact feeder with purina pellets. They didn’t hit the pellet feeder ONCE. I have cams and was SO disappointed. They didnt touch it all season. It wasn’t until my corn feeder was empty, that they “figured it out”. They have been feeding off it for about a month and I just put corn back in my other feeder. So maybe there is another food source in the area they prefer. I know they know its there, they may just not be interested in it.
@@Jtown4591 they like the corn more than the protein pellets that’s why they ate the corn before starting to eat the pellets corn is like a slice of pizza and the pellets is like a salad
Get an electric cement mixer. Mix everything up before you hit the feeders.

I bought the same feeder and the deer haven’t figured out how to eat out of it yet. Any tips?

People spend so much unnecessary money on hunting lol.
