@@johnhardin5168 I had to move the 2 x 8 panels forward as far as possible to make sure they were all in the 6 foot wide tank and capture as much water as possible. I appreciate your comment.
@@russellk6415 We are in western Kerr County and we’ve been blessed with a lot of rain. It hasn’t had this much grass in this area in years so it’s very very green but starting to dry up and thanks so much for your comment. God bless.
@donallentexasoutdoors I'm in Leakey. Send us some of the rain. You got a very nice selection of game animals. Well done, job. Aoudad is on my bucket list.
I am going to share my secret with you folks. If you want to see the bucks on your property put out some cracked corn. Think about why deer are eating corn……They like the good stuff that’s inside of a kernel. When it’s already cracked it makes it easy for the old bucks to chew and eat so they love it.
@@straightopoint Yeah we have apple flavored corn around here but they don’t like it like they do crack corn. I have a pet deer and her favorite things to eat are grapes and cheddar puff corn! 🤣😂
I use to hunt public land I gave up. My pet peeve was hunters would mark their trails/stand and wouldn’t take their markers up after the hunt so you never knew if you were walking in on someone on the morning of your hunt.
LOL obviously if you live in an area with little water this is the minimal you would do??? I live in an area with lakes and ponds and puddles everywhere so ya water is not the answer here LOL 🙂

Why did you lap the tin over the tank so much? Does it keep the water cooler?

You should try some really strong apple sent on that corn and it will be gone in about a hour if they around and can smell it.

Yeah. Great if you have your own land. These days, if you don’t own your own land, public hunting is the worst

Take chain saw lessons so you don't look so cityfied.
Being raised in the country and developing ranch properties for a living for over 40 years…I guess I need your advice.
I can send you 10k pictures of deer eating corn from start of summer to the end of summer. Not sure why you think they avoid it during the hot months
