Tip for next time I wouldn’t put liquids on fine grain like that it increases mold chances and sourness , corn is fine but on fine grain like that it will mold quickly with moisture, just a tip! And keeping any liquid/ gel mineral shook up keeps everything from settling in the bottom of container and helps it work better with everything shook up
I have found that if you pour the liquid deer cane on a dead stump or dead log the deer will eat the whole stump down to the roots. Works better than just dumping it straight on the ground. At least here in N.E. Pennsylvania
Get you a 50 pound bag of corn, 2 large boxes of Vanilla Jello pudding mix, (the name brand, not generic) & a 50 pound bag of cattle mineral salt! Pour the corn, top it with the cattle mineral salt & then your powdered Jello on top of the MS & get a stick & mix it & see what happens!
It wasn't a vs video so I did them together to see if the mixture of the 2 would attract them, which it did but if you would like to see that video all you have to do is ask 😀
They’re different attractants. Ones a grain and the other is a mineral so they are going to have different results. Personally I like the Deer Cane in the powder form can throw it right on the ground. Of course you want to make a small “dug up” area to pour it on, I’ve had deer make a 4x4 hole 6 inches deep before.
Watching from Maine where we can’t put anything out at all no apples no corn no liquid attractors I’m surprised they let us make mock scrapes here 😂😂😂 good video subscribed!
I experiment with the deer cocaine and similar liquid products. I get NOTHING(here in Pa.), in Aug+Sep. BUT! In Dec+Jan, when it's really cold out, they will dig 6" down, removing rocks the size of bricks! So, I guess they need the minerals when there is very little other food around?
I hunt in Monroe county WV I put both out within 20 feet of each other they wouldn't touch the buck bourbon at all it tried spring and fall the deer cocaine only thing got hit the following spring of putting it out
Happy it worked for ya.They definitely like the Deer Cane down here in Texas but there's something about that 110 proof they just go crazy for BUT so do the hogs if you got them around your area. Thank you for watching!!
@@darkreelaction with the hogs there in our hunting regulations book they say there a season for them but the past 30 years of hunting all over wv I have not seen the first 1 nore singes of a hog here with the deer my best luck been with sweet feed apple flavor corn an peanut butter
I totally understand how it can feel like that if it is done all year round but these deer are not introduced to this feed until September-December. That's all. After deer season I back off and go fishing. If you check out the channel you will see 😀 thank you for the comment
Buck Bourbon is my go to attractant. Pulls them in from other properties.

Never heard of doing it that way but I want to give it a try!! Thank you
Works like that in middle Georgia also.
Niceeee!!!! They ate the stump as well like that?
@@darkreelaction Yes
Your videos are so good! Great shots!
Thank you :)

Does will come just as they are breed and lactating for fawns
NOTE: put about 3 cups of the cattle mineral salt on top of the corn, not the whole sack! Not even a half a sack. It will last you several feedings.
which part of east tx
You can't tell if the buck bourbon or the deer cane works separately.. you should have done them separately...

I just tried that powder deer Cane on my last video and it did really good!!! Was surprised because it didn't have much smell
Works really well during spring and summer months. I usually put a mineral spot as close to water as I can great stuff!

Oh man that sucks 😕 but it does make it more of a challenge. Thanks for watching 👀
You should use the cmere deer 3 day harvest because I heard it works pretty good
Do you have a link for that?
Keep it up bro 😎
Love this stuff
Thank you!!!
I'll have trouble with anything I use. Between raccoons and the DAMN HOGS
I hear ya bro. Same issue here as well
It works very well

Plain corn..thats it..plain corn
I haven't had any luck with either one of these. The raccoons like the Buck Bourbon and I haven't had one deer on the area I put the Deer Cane...
That's weird... did you try to mix it with corn to see if that would help? I know some deer are picky eaters.
@@darkreelaction I tried it like it comes first and then I added corn to it after they didn't eat it.
@Bean306 that's strange... where are you from, and what do your deer there usually eat on?

@jasonhoke2006 oh that's nice!!! Yeah I've had really good luck with Apple corn as well. They love that stuff.
I hunted on private land the owner baited,I shot one, it felt like someone had a leash on the deer and was tied to a tree, its not hunting
