As the Founder and Director of the Rouen Ethnolinguistics Project in Rouen, France, I was simply delighted to see the quality and clear-sightedness of Jack's interview. His skills as a journalist are impressive and he is doing a great service to academics like the famous Dr Galdikas and colleagues like her who are interested in gaining a wider audience for essential research on different perspectives on how we live together in society and with other species. I'm not surprised that Dr Galdikas understands that and responds well, but I would be very happy to see more of our colleagues adopt a similar relaxed but responsive attitude to young thinkers like Jack who have a great potential for raising consciousness and making sustainable change.
