So many more trees than I was expecting. Just gorgeous, the entire island.
My husband and I were at Easter Island in 2012. It was a great time 🤗! Greetings from Germany.
I'm from the Philippines and I really wanted to visit Easter Island someday because of its exotic landscape and ancient history.
May The Lord make it happen. Blessings from Easter Island!

I'm originally from Camiguin Island, Philippines. I just got back from
4 perfect days in Easter Island, a dream come true.❤️
Wow, the most comprehensive video of the island on RUclips. Your dialogue delivery was the main plus point, keep up the good work
I've been there twice as part of an international artist exchange program with my dance company, Inlet Dance Theatre. This video is amazing--I noticed some significant changes since I was there. Thank you for posting this!
And thank you for.watching. i am glad it helped you revisit here. When were you here?
@@RapaNuiLife I was there in 2007 and my full company returned in the spring of 2008; Akahanga Rapu Tuki (Ballet Cultural Kari Kari) and Joanna Pakomio came to Cleveland (OH) for two weeks in between the two visits as part of the International Artist Exchange that was sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council, the Ohio Arts Foundation, the State Department, the American Embassy in Santiago (Chile) and Playhouse Square Center’s Education Department. @InletDanceTheatre
This is so well done!!! Thank you so much for your passion for this beautiful island.
Wow finally a video of what is my vision of the beautiful landscape of Rapanui. Volcanoes, large craters, caves, beaches, horses and for sure the very welcoming inhabitants. This is exactly what people should discover when they go on the island. Depending on the time of the day, your pictures will be totally different. It's an amazing video! Thanks, you did a very good Job! :D

Your videos keep getting better and better my bro! A majestic portrayal of the heart, incorporating just what it is that you love and showing it to the world in a way that captivates and makes one fall in love with your part of the world also. I hope you and your family are doing well amongst the uncertainty going on around the world, you are blessed as God has you where you need to be. Stay strong and keep up the good work. Much love.

Dear Friend
Fantastic video..congratulations.
Remind that I visited Eastern Island 4 times between 2002 and 2010
Out of the 60/70 countries I visited in my live: this is by far the most beautifull place
Your old fellow from Belgium was crying looking that video..
Jean-Pierre
Thanks Jean-Pierre your comment made all the work well worth it.
Best video showcasing Rapa Nui!
Absolutely amazing video! Thank you!
Thank you watching and taking the time to give me your encouraging words.
Been fortunate enough to visit Rapa Nui twice. It’s hard to beat the surreal feeling of walking amongst the Moai at Rano Raraku and then down to Ahu Tongariki. Also miss having Playa Ovahe to myself for a bit to just enjoy the waves crashing. Also enjoyed staring out into the Pacific from the two lava tube exists at Ana Kakenga and then hiking back to Hanga Roa for a nice, cold Mahina or Taina. Hope to make it back sometime for another visit.
Nice drone video shots Marc...Godbless to the beautiful Rapa Nui people🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Thanks Ernest!
Great video Marc! Love the drone footage and look forward to coming to the island soon :)
Awesome, I look forward to meeting you!
Im glad that there are now serious attempts to reforest the island again in many areas that need it. Great shots from your drone.
Congrats Marc, very nice work!!
Thanks Petra

Wonderful video. Hubby and I visited in 2016 and it brought back so many great memories. We used Green Island Tours for all of our time there and thanks to our guide, we had a spectacular time. We live in California and have great hopes of one day returning. Keep up the great work. Denise

My husband and I were thinking of visiting this Island! Very interesting island!
Awesome! I hope you make it! It looks like we are finally opening for tourists on 1 August!
Fascinating, always wondered how the island really looks - usually, you only see the heads and some grass lands. Great job and footage mate!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
When somebody says, "Go to your happy place," I go to Rapa Nui.
Blessed beautiful place . Heaven on earth.
Awesome drone video giving a unique visual experience of Rapa Nui. Made me nostalgic of my visit to Rapa Nui. Hoping to return back to Rapa Nui some time in the future.
Awesome, thank you for taking the time to watch .
Nice information, love from India Assam❤
Thank you for educational video driven through drone, I'm from Fiji 🇫🇯 it's indeed very interesting about Easter island particular the Rapa Nui
great video!
Great video-Thank you man 👍
Thank you for watching
I visited in 2019, it was beautiful and I loved it! Hopefully I can make it back again someday!
So good you were able before everything closed down.
It’s better than what I thought.
Nice and thank you. I think I learnt alot from your video of the island than searching and reading on google! I was always and am still facinated by those statues ever since I saw an image of it back in my childhood days. Hope to one day visit this beautiful island. Much love from Papua New Guinea.
Maybe we can do an exchange, I have always wanted to visit Papúa New Guinea. Blessings to you from the island
Definitely yes. This part of the world, our islands of the Pacific are full of beautiful sceneries, rich & diverse cultures worth visiting and exploring. Keep informing the world through your videos. Greetings.

I don't know how I got here, but I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Good job mate.
I am a canoe guide in Polynesian cultural center and this is very helpful for me to learn the real island besides from the script! Thank u!
Thank you watching and commenting. Blessings to you from Easter Island!
Io Rana,
Thank you for this video 👑🌈
Thankyou 🇨🇦
amazing place on earth
I LOVE RAPA NUI!!
What a beautiful video. I recently became fascinated with Easter Island and tonight I stumbled upon your channel. I’ve already watched several of your videos and will continue to watch. Do you know any Americans that live there?
I was totally astounded by your video of the island. You did a very excellent job in showcasing how beautiful Rapa Nui island is. It's easy to understand why tourists would love to go back again and again after their first visit. I wish I can visit too and hopefully in the very near future. But what do you think is the shortest route from the Philippines to Rapa Nui? Me and my wife are actually wishing to visit Rapa Nui after we saw videos (including your own videos) of the islands. I though before that Easter Island was a wild and inhabited by tribes like the ones in the Amazons. And I would like to apologize to Rapa Nui people for my grave misconception. I only knew Rapa Nui because of those giant monolithic figures I often see on magazines.
GREAT
Blessings from Oz. 👍😎❤️
This is my dream destination that I will never make to in this life. 🙂🙂🙂
I always thought it would be exotic you know like the Seychelles
because it's in the Pacific Ocean
but it's not it is like the Falkland Islands " but with palm trees 🎄 but nice video
I have been waiting to do a world cruise since the beginning of 2020. Hopefully we will get there eventually and can't wait to visit your beautiful island.
Hi Ginny, we hope you can make it too.... the Island is waiting for you.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing your drone cines. What kind of a drone did you take with you to the island?
This is brilliant mate. It took me back to my trip there and really loved the play by play of the island. When do you think yall will open up again to tourism?
Hey bro, not too sure. At a guess I would say not until next year.
Beautiful footage! Regards from Holland, country of Roggeveen…😉
I always enjoy my tours with the Dutch. Sending love and peace from the island.
@@RapaNuiLife Hope to meet you one day: still my dream to visit this beautiful spot. Take care!
great video, looking forward to being there in December 2022.
Great that you will visit!
God bless Easter Island, I'm from Indonesia
God bless you from Easter Island!
You cannot take off a drone near the airport such as Rano Kau crater. The restricted zone covers almost the whole village, and beyond that, the national park is also a no-fly area. Only a limited area is free for flying without risking a fine
That is correct. Drone footage was taken during Covid when there was no planes and thus no restrictions
Hope to visit some day by sailboat
Rapa Nui 🙂
What you said about Rapa Nui being the only underwater mountain poking it’s head above water is totally untrue. As a good example, what do you think the Hawaiian Islands are? The Big Island is actually the above water tip of the tallest mountain in the word.
It’s a shame that your island is being overrun with settlers and tourists. I hope all the remaining natural areas are being managed wisely.
3:45 if you look at the small island from the "bird Island" you will see that it is an ancient, mostly eroded carving of a dog. 🐕 Looking out at the sea... My theory is that this part of the island was once surrounded by floating grass islands, like we see in lake Titicaca, the only other area in the world where these particular reeds grow.
What are basic jobs on RaPa Nui ? In the States it's mostly jobs like working in construction, fast food , banks , grocery stores , a dollar general every 3 miles. Furniture factory, food process plants, gas station s, corner stores , bars , restaurants, and more bars, and pharmacies, those jobs are everywhere. And all the workers won't rise up in the company. Those jobs are a dime a dozen ✌️. Awesome video btw... I wish I could build a shack somewhere on that island and live out a great life ,,
Most jobs are either government based like school teachers, road workers. Government workers etc, but the only industry that generates money is tourism. So people rent cabins run tours etc
@@RapaNuiLife cool. It sounds peaceful
WOW! BIG WOW FOR SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ISLAND. Thanks Marc for sharing such a wonderful video of the whole island and the equally excellent narration. I wish the island were near to the Philippines so I can travel easily. I just found out that the people of both Rapa Nui and the Philippines are both Austronesians. The Philippines was the first islands to be colonized by seafaring Austronesians from Taiwan before they moved further out to outlying islands in Indian and Pacific Oceans in the succeeding centuries. And Easter Island was said to be the last to be colonized according to archaeologists (based on scientific evidence thru carbon-dating of archaeological finds) thus, the youngest island to be inhabited in the Pacific Ocean. Rightly so, because it's also the farthest reaches of Pacific Ocean, being the easternmost island. No wonder Rapa Nui natives somewhat look like the typical Filipinos with no Western heritage in their blood.
lol I'm from the Philippines too and I'm really wanted to visit this island soon

I am really envy you guys on the island, but its easy for me to say! I'm in Tucson, AZ USA and life is way more easy; Ps, Mark, don't forget the E-mail thanks.
Did you all get any part of the tonga , tsunami, when that underwater Volcano blew up in the middle of nowhere in the Pacific Ocean?
Hey there, we got a warning but nothing eventuated luckily.
looks like a beautiful snore-fest to me.
Best comment yet. It gave me a good chuckle… 🤭 I can tell we would get along.
Thanks for this very informative video, but I’m still left wondering if its worth 20hrs flying each way to visit.
Thats a Good question and only one you wil truley be able to answer after you come.... maybe hit a couple of amazing places like patagonia and atacama in the mainland of chile on the same trip in order to make sure you get the most out of such a long travel time.
Thanks for your reply. I’ve visited Torre del Paine and the Atacama, Salar de Uyuni and Santiago and regret not having extended my visits to Easter Island. If I only had one week to spent on the island, would it still be worth a visit?
Can I come visit please?
Hallo Marc, great video. How is it with drone flying in Rapa Nui ? Is it allowed, or do you need any permit ? Thank you. Jiri
I sorry to say it is labeled a none fly zone, and I think a permit costs a lot of money too. Obviously living here has its bonus as I can fly.
@@RapaNuiLife Hallo Marc, I am going to Rapa Nui in March. I like your footage, would you be willing to sell me some of your raw drone footage (since I cannot fly drone in Rapa Nui - I would be glad to use it for presentations and photoshows (not online)) ? If yes, for what price ? Thank you. Regards. Jiri
@@jiri-soural-photo sure, no problem. Perhaps qhb tou come you can look over what i have
@@RapaNuiLife super, thank you. I will be there 26.-31.March. Will contact you. One more question - is there still a PCR test prior to the departure to Rapa Nui needed ? Could you per haps recommend me where to test in Santiago (I am staying there overnight 25.-26.3.). Thank you.
Como esses caras fizeram isso?
It’s a shame it’s been destroyed.
Please can u help me,I'm frm Vanuatu,my great great grandfather said we were frm Easter island, they sail away maybe of something, then settle in Fiji, and then some took away then settle in west ambae, Vanuatu,I need to know please
Maybe… around what date did they arrive in Fiji do you know?
Great video! Thank you for sharing. I have a question as I have always wondered, why the people don't plant more coconut palm trees?
Hi, coconuts trees do not self germinate on the island so coconuts must be brought in from outside the island and this is has been dificult to do up to now.
